  1. Main thing is you no one was hurt. esp - yourself.
  2. I'm sorry to all the 'haters' but that second pic looks bloody awesome. As others have mentioned and as you can see, the stretch can enable you to fit wider rims or rims with lower to negative offsets on your car without having to jack it up to 4wd height or flaring the gaurds. having the stretch for cosmetic reasons is the same reason people choose a certain style of rim (why 5 spoke of seven spoke or mesh style for example) no one can deny that have wide rims makes your car look so much tougher than wheels with massive positive offset sitting so far in the gaurd it looks like an old citroen.
  3. Yeh Daniel is fine, I'll let him explain explain what happened.
  4. yeh the back way is awesome, I got a lil hesitant though as it started spitting for a bit when we were going through and my tires are rubbish. I could imagine both cars you two had would have made for an amazing drive. mmm blue monster...
  5. nice pix chad and brett - that r34 gtr was amazing - what a machine.
  6. Definately interested. you name the date.
  7. yeh was a great cruise, despite the most unfortunate incident on the way back. Props to Daniel for organising another good cruise, with a good turn out. Everyone had a chance to enjoy themselves and have a good run. I'll have a look on my phone for some pix.
  8. awesome, I'd like to see this weapon in real life!
  9. crap better go do it...
  10. Stick with dry filters like the apexi or blitz. The oiled ones such as k&n are known to disrupt air flow meters as the oil disturbs the sensor. My blitz one was the loudest. IT was a bltiz stainless steel filter. Huge thing nearly twice the size of my apexi power intake.
  11. welcome, nice car. Volk ce28?
  12. you can using any vac line coming off the plenum, i.e after the throttle body
  13. get a hybrid kit for r33. about $650 or so from traders on these forums. Good quality cooler, without the price tag of some of the jap ones. Trust kits are good also and not that expensive. I personally think that a r34 cooler is a bit of a waste of time to be honest. Just do i right from the start and it will give you plenty of head room later on. HPI had an article on modding a 33 gtst including the cooler upgrades, was a couple of issues back. worth looking at.
  14. too soon junior...
  15. go straight to the main meet for more cars...
  16. picy's???
  17. so your gonna be running 275 all round? no probs with the front that wide?
  18. i only get about 330 - 350 tops... getting 500 - 530 is very rare and quite suprising. actually seems odd for a skyline to get that sorta milage - I would consider that as being pretty good economy if anything...
  19. Upgrade from yoiur te37's!!! is there such a thing! i would die for some te37's. They look awesome on your gtr, white on purple looks very nice. What would you like instead? If you have your te37's still nest yr i will be keen to buy them off you..
  20. dont make it look like a spaceship... You don't want something that looks like a standard bar with some death star thing tacked on the bottom... Personally i think you should keep your car clean and simple. The best bars are gtr front bars which fitted well can look great on an s2 gtst. that or just the standard one you had - with the factory lip if you wanted it chunkier looking. Trust bars can look pretty tough but have such a big intake that being an na, without a cooler will look tacky as you will have huge areas of mesh which ends up looking like flywire.
  21. yeh, my point exactly. There's not really much point spending money on performance mods for your car for two main reasons, 1 being that they arnt gonna do much, and 2 being a p plater makes it very hard for you and risky with the new laws. Hold out till you get off your p's and buy a turbo model.
  22. ^^ this one looks cool
  23. i think your ideas look good, nice photoshop skills. i recon they should have stayed with the bar on the gtr proto - with the black that continued down the front under the headlamps - that looked sweet.
