you could probably make 4 -5k selling all the parts, then plus the 7k that you need to spend to fix it is around 12k which would easily get you another gts that has not been in a smash, or hold out and get a gtst.

I'd personally go pfc if you can find one. couple have come up for sale recently. Haltech, and autronic are also good but are more costly and like the pfc are stand alone engine managements unlike the e-manage.

my car runs 203rwkw, and my mods are as follows: Full 3 inch turbo back exhaust Hybrid FMIC turbotech mbc - 12psi Power FC Bosch 040 Apexi power intake. So in your case you should be able to make 200rw if you add the dump / front pipes with high flow cat, power fc and more boost - 12psi or so. Stuff like plugs and coilpacks arn't totally necessary for this power level. My plugs were regapped down to .8 due to misfiring. As long as ytour car doesn't missfire you won't need splitfires. My cars runs great at this power on the standard coils.

Good idea save for pfc or something simular and you wont regret it. Stuff like safc with mild mods are of for peak power but the real difference is in the midrange power and torque that you will get from a better stand alone unit like a pfc. I sold my safc and bought a pfc and car drives like a dream.

any aftermarket turbo is a defect. The high mount just makes it obvious.

yeh ray did my pfc last week, very good job, nice smooth curve with fat midrange, and very good and flat afrs 10 /10
