  1. Definately looks a bit wierd from my experiences on the dyno. I have basically the same mods but with an safc and made 195rwkw on 10.5psi. But your afr's plummet to 10.5 in the main power band area so to speak which doesn't seem to affect your power curve. No dips no nothin... Seems weird to me. When my afr's we dropping that low before the safc i only had like 170rwkw or so with a real unsteady curve... could your timing be real advanced or something with the jap tuned ecu?
  2. I dunno how everyone is saying they are not that loud! Ive got a full stainless steel 3" xforce turboback on my car and i reckon its damn loud. I wanna try and get it made quieter. Mine has a hotdog and rear cannon. Are all you guys using hotdogs or do you have oval resonators?
  3. Couldn't he do one of two options? 1. get gtr gaurds to make the car wider and hence stop the bowing , or 2. Cut the bar down the centre removing some width from the bar and have it plastic welded and finished off to create the correct width. Both seem like going to a bit of trouble so it may all be more trouble than its really worth. \ There was a guy on this forum that did a full conversion with all genuine 34 gtr parts, came out looking just like a gtr but by the end of it i think he could of just bought an r34 gtr with the amount of money he spent...
  4. Looks good! Nice and clean i like it
  5. Looks like it just the one pre meet now. ^^
  6. pm'd
  7. I just cant get over how clean that orange r33 is. You would think a package like that would be outrageous although doesn't appear over the top. The bar looks like it was meant to be.
  8. Top Secret front bar?
  9. The yellow pages will give you a plethora of tinting places in Melb. Since tinting has been around for a while now you don't really have to worry about getting crappy film like the bubbling blue stuff you see on 80's cars, and all places will be using metalised films. Your best bet is to ring a few and get quotes bcos some of the 'better known' places like 'tint a car' are pretty damn expensive. And you will find you can bargain with prices etc if you ring around. I can think of a few off the top of my head from when i was looking for my r33. Tint a car, premier tint, vip window tinting, Southern cross window tinting, the tint professor etc etc. Some places will come to your house and do it for you if you have a garage. Thats how mine was done. Two guys came out and finished in a bit over an hour.
  10. ^^ Sweet now we can count on a nice 32gtr showing up :PBJ:
  11. Its pretty easy to install. The instructions tells you exactly what to do. The only bad thing is the position you have to do it in. Just put a couple of towels on the grond so your knees dont get sore..lol
  12. Thats prob true, however new afm seems to have fixed mine up (for now anyways). Fingers crossed it stays that way.
  13. Yeh its def not r&r. I have experienced the same thing on my car aswell. As people would know with r&r there is a loss of power but you can still hear the car spool and see the revs go up. However with this cut, it feels like the engine turns off or the inmjectors 'cut' out in a violent way that makes you almost fly forward like the brakes have been applied cos only ever seemed to happen at wot. I bought myself another airflow meter still a stock s2 one but i have not experienced this problem since putting in the new afm. It was wierd as it would occur only on real cold nights at wot - so therefore you would conclude an overboosting issue, however the boost wasn't even high when it would do it as in it would 'cut out' at about 9psi. Also seemed to be quite intermittant as well. So it seemed to me atleast to be air flow related rather than a set boost level. i.e 12 psi etc.
  14. Warlords has looked the cleanest so far, looks good. although i dunno if i would do it purely for the lack of air con factor..
  15. Keep it silver or if you want to do a different colour go the factory midnight purple - best gtr colour.
  16. Black r33 with those rims would have looked sex...
  17. Hey just a thought, i noticed you dont have an fmic, wouldn't any r33 with an fmic have to have a modfied reo bar anyways. In which case the bar would fit for people with fmic? I know this isn't really helping you out but just for others / myself thinking about a trust bar.
  18. This is gonna be huge :PBJ:
  19. Ive always wanted to know what those rims were called. I reckon they look bloody awesome. Real track style.
  20. I think you could use a dremel to do it, as the bar is plastic and the dremel will cut it fairly easily and cleanly. You should get the side of it plastic welded as well to make it a clean cut out.
  21. UK boys commin out with the goods!
  22. Yours looks clean as nizmo freek for a reletively stock motor. How do you keep the stock parts lookin so nice? Degreaser?
  23. I love seeing cars all masked up for painting, looks hardcore!
