  3. Hmm very interested in this. As i am considering a trust front bar. I take it everyone with this bar has had to modify the reo bar?
  4. Rego is about $550 every year in vic no matter what plate. And we do not have as many possible combinations as you guys do. Like cannot start the plate with a number or can only have certain amount of numbers mixed with letters etc. And the mixed ones eg ni5san only come in the standard plate size no slimline. And cost $500 on top of your rego... As i said vic plates = crap

  6. Nice car man congrats If i were doing my car over again, as in from stock. I would DEFINATELY get an ecu first. No questions asked. I tried to do it the other way round and learnt the hard way. If you do it first, then your car will be so much beeter off in every mod you do and from then on its easy street.

  13. Change of date seems to be working well so far. In actual fact the list seems to have more peeps on it. Only prob is now its further away Ah well I'm sure it'll come around quickly and in the mean time hopefully gain even more interest and allow people to make sure they have the day / arvo off.

  15. The cleanest and best look is to make a custom triple gauge plate / holder and have them in the din pocket under the climate control. Looks tacky haning off the pillar especially three.

  18. Your boost gauge is calibrated to run off a certain diameter hose. Go plug in a bigger one than it came with and see how you go.... Also please give us your expert analysis on why boost increases when the restrictor hose is removed... Also enlighten us to what the brass restrictor is for...
  19. But will running the gcg without a tune by an aftermarket ecu actually cause the car to run worse? Or will it still be better than factory?
  20. Btw 'slowing airflow to the actuator ' is not going to make boost come on 'smoother' If anything it would ramp up faster and harder because the wastegate is not opening as much. Which is why that is Not what it is doing in the stock setup.
  21. It doesn't sound wrong at all Dude.... It is common sense. Reducing the diametre of a hose increases the pressure inside the hose. Hence why do you think taking the restrictor out of a gtr or an s15 for example ups the boost when replaced with a generic piece of fuel line or silicon hose... Because the pressure to the actuator is reduced hence the turbo creates more boost as the wastgate doesn't open as early or as much. Cheers 'dude'
  22. ^^ yeh same I usually let it idle for a few mins before driving and wait for the oil pressure to drop before any real acceleration. The 1 min thing confused me a bit...
