  1. Might casue you to have rich spikes when it vents. i.e changing gears etc. It's not a huge issue, I ran my vee port for ages with no real problems.
  2. I thought you already had these mods?? like turbo, injectors etc?
  3. I'm contemplating a power fc or if i can't find one maybe I'll go with emanage ultimate. safc has gotten me to 195rw so far so its doing an alright job on a reasonably safe tune i.e between 11.5 and 12 afr.
  4. Depends what your tuning... safc around 150 -200 Power fc around 400 - 500 perhaps, each car / ecu is different.
  5. :laughing-smiley-014: Yeh doesn't make much sense, any sense really, even with a simple fuel computer they would flow way too much and the ammount of correction applied would be astronomical. Perhaps either they are not 720cc or it has some crazy re-mapped jap ecu that he is not aware of...
  6. Once you install the safc it will just run the stock fuel map because no correction has been applied to the load points. You can have it fully installed and driving around and all it will do is display values such as throttle, air flow, knock etc. If you install a brand new safc it is fine to drive around with it untill it gets tuned because it hasn't changed anything. Otherwise if it is used just check that in the 'settings' onder 'high throttle' and 'low throttle' everything is on zero correction and you will be sweet to drive. Don't have to worry about disconnecting it etc.
  7. Yeh definatelly get an ecu and if you can the power fc is probably your best bet - hard to find nowadays though. That way you can tune it and make the most of your bigger turbo and injectors - should have nice power then.
  8. Well safcII has been replaced by apexi afc neo. So finidng one may prove a bit harder than say a year ago or so. Have a look around the for sale section and business traders - i got mine from a trader off here - bt revolution. But as i said a lot of traders / shops etc may not have them anymore and will have the afc neo which will give you the same result anyways - bit more expensive but has a cool colour screen! Also try nengun, or greenline.jp - thats to import one. Good luck
  9. You could have made 200rw will stock turbo and stock injectors - sounds like what you need is a power fc or somesort of full engine managment to get what you have running properly and efficiently.
  10. What car you got? / thinking of bringing?
  11. Also a lot of the aftermarket bars are quite elloborate in there design which is why a factory m spec with number plate cut out will suit the car perfectly. A good aftermarket bar though with a huge cut out for cooler is the trust bar. You will definately need skirts and 1 tone paint for that bar though as it is mega low!
  12. 1 colour paint job will kill two tone no matter what colour any day of the week. With only an exception made for the veyron The most expensive part will be just getting the new components, skirts front bar etc painted because if you decide to go Factory m spec kit you could pick one up for pretty cheap off here in the for sale section probably. Cutting the section out isn't a prob either and can be done with a dremel or something simular but you could just ask the body shop to do it for you. The m spec bar will bring the front of your car quite lower than the type s one you have and will look 100 times better. Esp with the cooler behind it. Ive just got my cooler behind the factory s2 bar and with skirts and gtr wing it looks the goods. Parts themselves (if you use 2nd hand factory parts like m spec bar and skirts) should only cost you a few hundred dollars or so and you'll just need to get a few different quotyes regarding paint.
  13. Wo those pics from PSI parts are unbeleivable... Top mount setups look soo mad! Gees my stocko looks boring! The rb26 with the polished / chromed rocker and timimg cover looks amazing
  14. This is shaping up to be quite an event. Please be good weather!
  15. Some may even do it cheaper providing everything on the car is up to par. For example i took my car in for an safcII tune after i installed it myself thinking that it would be around 150-$200 for the tune, but turns out my oxy sensor and fuel pump were gone. So not only did i waste time on the dyno but money also! But when i took it back with the new pump and oxy it cost me $150 for the tune. some workshops do them more than others so they can get them done pretty quickly and with good results. So providing everything is cool with your car 150 to 200 should be about the price.
  16. Hmmm Only thing is an orange skyline isn't exactly the most inconspicuous vehicle for moving product. Best to have 2 cars.... Hypothetically
  17. I think the p1's look sweet - the gunmetal look snice on your car also. Just wondering though what ecu are you using in your car and is it the standard turbo? How much power are we talking? Cheers
  18. 400hp... that will surely put you in your seat
  19. i got 195rwkw on 11psi pretty happy with that
  20. I reckon just leaving it polished but tucked in nicely behind the standard front bar looks nice and clean whilst giving you the slightly tuff yet subtle street car look.
  21. Neo also has no knock sensor.
  22. If you put a different hose running from your intercooler pipe to the actuator you are running more boost because there is less pressure going to the actuator so the wastegate doesn't open and keeps building boost. The standard vac line that runs to the actuator has a restrictor in it that reduces the diameter inside the hose. A smaller diameter means higher pressure - higher pressure means wastegate opens earlier creating less boost. Imagine it like having a pea shooter - with the thin pipe it will shoot quite far due to the greater pressure but if you had a large diameter pipe with a pea in it it wouldn't go very far. - hope that makes sense That coupled with your new exhaust.
  23. Basically the SAFCII has a knock sensor and the extra load points and a scroll wheel instead of 4 buttons. In the end they will get the same result - dunno how much the few extra correction points make to real world performance as the safc creates a smooth curve between points. The monitor mode may be different as well but essentially the same. I just bought the number II cos i wanted one brand new with manual etc - and for the knock but i dunno how accurate the knock readings are anyways.
  24. The black on white looks fresh. Nice with the polished lip
