Hey guys, got abrand new fibreglass R33 GTR front bar to sell, wasn't needed because my plastic orginal one was fixable - $200 A stock GTS-T bov, which I now have no use for, $30. Also got a damaged front mount, looks liked it could be fixed, you're welcome to have a look. As well as other standard parts - stock air filter, stock IC + some of the standard piping, and a stock R33 GTS-T computer. Located in Launceston. Cheers

Lucky for some. Haha, I dunno.. make an offer after you see it.
-
Yea matey. Still got the front bar.. not that much damage at all really, I guess I'm jsut too lazy to bother fixing it up. I can give ya some pics if you like.

Front reo bar.

Basically, I need all those things in the topic. GTR pruple in colour would be ideal, but black for the bonnet wouldn't be bad.. Any other colour would still be good, as I need to get the thing fixed. Cheers.

Had a bit of an... oopsie. Front end damage sucks... anyway, I need a new bonnet, GTR front bar the reinforcement for it, and a new left headlight. If anyone has any places that would be able to hook me up, or has one themselves that they could sell me, it would be great.. Colour wise GTR pruple would be ideal... but I'm not picky, as I need to get the thing fixed. Cheers.

Perfect. The day I get my licence back.

Yea, the manifold is the bit I'm worried about. It's Tuneagent, which I've never heard of - could be okay, they said they've never had any complaints, or any bought back.

If the above is true, it would be nice. Can pick up that turbo, with high mount, and a tial 38 mm gate for $2,800 and a 44mm Tial gate for $3,100. Add for $400 for braided lines. Does that sound alright? Or again, will it just be way too much for street - I'm thinking yes, it probably will be, but it would be nice to have that bit extra for track use, IF I decide to do it.
-
Yea, I do see what you're saying - but the pure wank factor of the high mount would be good. I've been looking around for a 3037 internal wastegate kit, but haven't found on as yet - can someone link me. Also, the 3037R from Garret isn't the same a 3037 from HKS, is it? Cheers

I have read the FAQ, the light went out after driving. The throttle sensor seemed to be the one playing up - I'll get it checked. Just a couple of queries. When I advance that setting it says to +2 in the FAQ, my knock count goes way overboard, so I'm guessing I shouldn't do that. also, my air flow meter seemed to max out. I know I shouldn't be revving it to high. but I jsut wanted to check it out.. and it maxes out at about 5,500. Any ideas on that? Cheers.

Cheers guys. I got it going. Now my engine warning light is on all the time while doing the self learn idle procedure. Any reason for this?

Alrighty. I just put my Power FC in, and unplugged the SAFC I had... now the engine will trun over, and start, then stall immediatly. If I leave the SAFC plugged in it start though. Is this because the AFM goes through the SAFC before the computer? So I'll need to completely take the SAFC's loom out, and figure out how to wire the AFM back in? or is it simpler? Cheers/
-
Quick question. Just hooking up my Power FC. Does it matter about the SAFC being in there? Just unplug it, and it's right to go, yes?
-
Well now that you mention it.. yea I can. Apparently the Servo at my mechanics place is getting 100 octane. He says it'll be cheaper then premium too, which would be nice.
-
Yea, that sounds like exactly what I want - which is what I was always thinking. I spose that's about the limit of what you'd want out a RWD anyway, too much more and I could almost forget about streeting. Cheers for the help - I'll probably save myself all the screwing around go for that kit. Unless anyone else has an other suggestions to confuse me even more.

http://www.nengun.com/catalogue/product/252 Cheers for the help.

Yea, I will admit.. sounds like a fair bit of stuff. So, the 2835 is probably a bang for buck option - and is a fari bit easier - it wouldn't be capable of the top end of the other setup though, or any where near it?
-
http://horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/turbochart.htm Either GT30 or GT35. It's offered with both. I automatically assume the 35 is probably too big - for what I want, anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong. I know the 2835 would be an easier bet - but the full kit would be kinda interesting.
-
Before you ask - Yes, I have done a bit of research. Didn't really find the answers I was after. Now, to the trouble.. I was looking at getting the HKS 2835 Pro S off Nengun ~ $3200 shipped. I do like the sound of the HKS turbo, and have read a fair few opinions on here - It seems to be what I am looking for. However, I was looking on horsepowerinabox jsut today, and saw they have full Gt30 kits, with high mount manifold, external gate etc for about $3500. Which I kinda like the sound of. Now, as the topic says this for an Rb25 - on a series 1 4 door R33. I'm looking for it to be a decent dtreet car, but - without sounding silly wouldn't mind in a year or so to be making 300+ rwkw, and do some decent 1/4 times. I have supporting mods like an FMIC, PFC and 700 CC (Yes, overkill) Injectors and a fulle xhaust. As well as an 040 fuel pump. Now for the questions. The 2835 would obviously be a better street setup, from waht I have read, anyhow. However, for the extra 300 bucks + labour extra labour costs over the fitting for the manifold etc would the Gt30 kit be a better deal, and how much power roughly would I be looking at in each case - dyno sheets would be nice. I know I'm obviously talking about two different things, and two different price ranges here - but consider it as if money wasn't an issue, would the full GT30 kit be way too overkill for street use with the manifold and ext. gate? And would the 2835 come anywhere near the GT30 kit in top end power? Any other comments, or opinions on turbo choice would be good.
