Well its not really just GTR tax, Akrapovic charges high for all their exhausts. Its about establishing a premium brand, and just like all premium brands are they overpriced? Yes. However you get the best quality, the exclusivity and IMO best sound too. Worth the extra outlay? Well if the GTR is your dream car and you want the very best parts for it, yeah for me it is. In the process of sourcing one now.

Well I am only going off what they have told me so far, I said the same thing when I was given the information... I was expecting an exhaust to be okay but not a tune. After my comment the dealership said yes, its a fine line concerning the tune. The willall tunes offered under by the dealership are covered by the warrenty, but if you push it past a certain point, excessive boost etc etc the warrenty is void.

Does anyone know if there is an Australian distributor for Akrapovic exhausts?

Here are the quotes I have got: Note all Willall Racing products: Stainless Steel Mid Pipe - $1100 Stainless Steel Full pipe - $2500 Titanium Mid Pipe - $2000 Titanium Full Pipe - $6500. A fitted Cob Tune would cost $2500. So going off the Willall Racing website, everything quoted by the dealership is nearly double in price... Maybe thats the price to keep warrenty?

I've just purchased a 35 from Northside Nissan in Perth, and they can actually do full exhaust upgrades as well as Cobb tunes. These are covered under the warrenty (all parts are Willall Racing). However they do charge a premium for the parts so now I'm just in the process of seeing if they will allow me to supply the parts, they do the install and I still keep my warranty intact.

Please do not tell me that guy turned a gallardo into a mustang...

Considering how much Nismo was trying to sell their parts for (which some parts are shared/similar ie exhaust), did we really expect anything less from Nissan themselves? I wonder how much the high performance GTR will be then... 100% over the Spec V!

It is atm cause its got a problem with the ATTESSA... Should be fixed soon hopefully

Why dont you put up your stock r34 up against that stock mustang. That would be a laugh now wouldnt it hater?

More like running with too much fuel, its running too rich. Get a SAFC Neo or some piggy back with a tune. It will be fine after that.

Change your spark plugs and make sure they are gapped to 0.8mm

Yeh, I was refering to the same laws in the eastern states, where P platers are not allowed to drive turbos or v8s. Mark, yeh I do agree that there should be more training required to obtain licences, but my comment was aimed at where we are currently. Without extensive vehicle training or road experiance (both which are currently not required to obtain licences in WA), shoving a P plater in a turbo or v8 is just an accident waiting to happen.

Im all for non turbos for P platers, theres far too many P platers out there who think they can handle their turbo cars and thinking nothing bad will happen to me.

Yeh Perfect run are pretty good to deal with, just ordered my Ce28ns in diamond black off them... however wont be getting them until end of november... lol

Evos are def awesome cars, I was thinking about goin that way myself, but personally I just dont think they look that great anymore... Must of just got bored of the way they look over time (I thought they looked extremely sex like a couple of years ago), and if I was to own one the look of a car would play a big factor. Ever considered a supra? haha

Yeh I have the same problem, somebody depadged my red/white GT badge... Sad sad world! I found that just jap sold some, but at 50 bucks a badge... I also went to a panel beater to see how much it would cost to fill in the holes and repaint it... 900 bucks! Goes to show a new badge isnt that expensive afterall...

Well ppl can say "ill vote for the LF-A to be different", but then you go to a toyo forum and whats the bet in a similar topic ppl will be saying ill get a GTR to be different cause everyone seems to be going for the LF-A.
