Clunking Noise From Driveshaft
Skid McMarks replied to some_cs_student's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I have got the same problem in my 32 at the moment, clunking in the back... And it is the drive shafts (inside CV is dead) Not hard to change. But there is a big nut on the end of the drive shaft in the hub, which can prove to be a real bastard to get undone. Skid -
Ok I did a search and couldn't really find the answer I wanted... So can anyone tell me if the Rear driveshafts from a Ceffiro are the same size, length and bolt pattern as R32 4 door skyline? i need new drive-shafts for my R32 4 door and the only ones I can get my hands on are for ceffiro, and I can't just go and measure them. Please help. Skid

Auto Or Manual
Skid McMarks replied to iMessenger's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
All depends on how you drive the car and what you want to do with it. Me..... Manual all the way. -
I have found a Locked open wheel diff center from a S13 and want to fit it into my R32 (Which is VLSD) my problem is that the pictures of the S13 diff show a different bolt pattern on the half shafts to the ones on my R32. Can I bolt my half shifts in? Can I just put the center into my houseing with my crown wheel and half shafts etc... Any help??? Cheers

Can anyone tell me how to wire a RB25 DET airflow meter into my RB20 DET R32? Replacing the factory RB20 one. Is there any gain to be had from it? Or is it only a gain with the Z32 ones? Cheers, Rob.

Tacho Booster, To Use On R32
Skid McMarks replied to Skid McMarks's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I know how to wire it up. But it won't work without a booster. Tested it on my mates 300zx, and it works fine. And a guy I know said I need the booster for it to work.... He had the same problem. -
Tacho Booster, To Use On R32
Skid McMarks replied to Skid McMarks's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I didn't need to use one on my old 180sx either.... But don't work on this car.... And people are telling me it needs a signal booster for the tacho on R32. Weird. -
tacho booster, to use on R32 Where can I get one? How much? Part number? I have been told I need one to get my monster tacho to work on my R32 skyline off the ECU tacho wire. I have done a search, but found nothing useful. Cheers.

^^^ Thanx, but I have no intention of selling it for any less. It's in good nic except for the paint. I love this car and don't really want to sell it. But I can't have it and a bike. So if I get what I want for it, I will get a bike, If I don't, I get to keep going with this. Either way I win. Cheers Rob -
I have recently decided to sell my baby. Going to buy a CBR 250RR, so the skyline must go to make way for the bike. 89 model, 4 door, GTS-t, RB20 DET, manual. Car is stock standard except for Tein coilovers and a Full turbo back 3in exhuast including dump pipe. And a pod filter. Car runs 11psi and drives great. Paint needs some works, or a respray. The bootlid is satin black because I removed the standard wing and sealed the holes. BA Falcon 16in Pursuit rims (was going for the sleeper affect) Sports steering wheel. 9 months rego. Located in Wollongong NSW 1 hour south of sydney. $10,000 Firm May concider swaps. (NO FALCONS OR COMMADORRES). PM me or Call 0413 444 165 (may accept a CBR 250R and Cash my way) Will try and get some more pics up soon.
