    The white 32 with the BN Sports kit is my mate bens. We went on a road trip to the gold coast on saturday to buy it. its a 1990 gt-st 4 door with 32 gtr font guards and flared rear guards to fit the Work vs rims, got some nice dish on them too. the car goes like the clappers but because of the camber set up and the tyres having no side wall, as soo as he boosts it it looses traction. in the process of fixing it up now.

    oh ok i have got a contact who runs a performance auto workshop so ill get him to do the work and save the extra $$. timing belts are only $100ish? i swear i saw a genuine nismo one for $215 or somthing. can i ring nissan and ask everything that will have to be changed at the 100k service then take this to my shop and get him to do it all? cheers

    I think you'll find its normal mate. its called clutch rattle, my mates 32 makes a crazy metallic whirring noise when idling in nuetral. hth

    Hey gius, Well my car is coming up soon for the big 100,000km service and was wondering a few things. will it be cheaper for me to buy a timing belt and supply it to nissan when they do the service? what things do they replace on the car and roughly how much will i be looking at for them to do the works on my car? cheers

    hey guys, im thinking about going down the thermo fan path and scraping the engine fan. im thinking of installing 2 thermos infront of the radiator and was wondering what sizes or brands will be a direct fit. Taking off the engine fan saves a kw or two doesnt it? ive also heard that the thermos will do a much better job at cooling. anyone got any ideas? cheers

    Hey guys, i bought a set of clear side indicators for my r33 and was wondering how to install them. do the old ones just pop out or what? i was thinking about levering them out with a screw driver and putting cloth betwen the indicators and that paint. cheers EDIT: never mind guys the screw driver and rag thing worked, already got them installed!

    hey guys, just wondering if there is a decent car alarm installer on the coast i can get to have a look at my alarm. me being stupid had it installed at autobarn because i was told the installer was a professional but 4 times today my alarm has gone off for no reason. so anyone now of a good installer? cheers

    Haha, i entertained the idea of putting a 2jzgte in an r33 as it is a far superior engine to the rb26 but the overall cost would be greater then me just buying a TT supra. still if i had the money and the patience id look into it.

    as the topic suggest, im after an r33 series 2 mounting bracket for the charcoal cannister. mine car came without the bracket. if anyone wants to flog it off for $10 ill pay. cheers

    Can almost guarantee the idle problem will be fixed when you take off your AAC valve and spray carby cleaner in it and scurb it out. it still up with carbon and affects the solenoid that controls your idle. my car idled like a pig and stalled at lights all the time until a mate and i fixed it and cleaned it out. there is a thread in DIY about how to do it, easy as takes about 1 hour. cheers

    when my car is idling, if i pull the throttle cable abit and rev the engine up a touch, this weird dud dud dud sound comes from the cam cover area, im not sure if its a worn bearing somewhere in the engine or if its the vct. anyone know if its related to the vct?

    nah mate, i get paid for every km i drive plus the time im in the car, hence driving down and back everytime, quite a pay packet by the end of the week. Probably not the best thing putting a heap of k's a week on my new car, but I guess themoney outweights that in the end..

    Had kinda the same problem with a plug being dissconnected. my central locking didnt work, my interior lights, lights on beep and some other stuff all didnt work then one i was looking under the dash and a huge plug had been dissconnected. plugged it in and voila everything worked. who knows how these things get dissconnected.

    Yeah i know he thrashed the sh*t out of that car and if i remember correctly, he tried to sell it on ns.com saying it had a full forged rebuild and was good for 400kw, unfortunately the guy who owned the car previously came along and ruined all that for him. the thread go to about 20 pages before it was locked. I can't remember your blue 32 but ill keep an eye out for it. cheers

    Nismo boy where abouts have you seen the car? i dont really take it out that much, where abouts on the coast are you?

    not sure but i know my mates dad destroyed his 2j by miss shifting from 3rd into 2nd. dropped a few valves and 2 cylinders.... its not making 600 hp anymore....

    Hey guys, went for my first cruise in my new 33 today. At m'bah on the sunny coast there were a few good cars out as well as a healthy dose of nissan imports. there was a pink silvia and dark colourd 180 i gave a nod to, belong to anyone on here? all in all good arvo. i was the guy in the white 2dr r33 with white avs rims.

    hey man, once i get the condensor and dryer im going to take it to a air con shop and get them to install it and fix anything that needs fixing, im sure they will have all the seals needed to do the job. her is a pic of the air con pipes and charcoal cannister as they are now. im pretty sure i have everything i need bar the condernsor and dryer. cheers

    yeah mine does that too mate, im not to worried about it, probably just another desgin flaw or fualty seal.

    hey guys, i have found an air con set that i can buy however the condensor is from a series 1 r33 and i have a series 2. will i be able to put this condensor into my car without any troubles? cheers
