  1. I sat here and drank beers.
  2. If it is one thing i have learnt its petrol prices = rape and there is nothing to be done about it. the gubbermint is making to much money out of it to bother subsidising it, bleh i have had to many beers and dont understabnd anything.
  3. for sale is a cosmo racing short shift kit for r31,32,33 series skylines. Apparently it only fits sr20 and rb20 engines. Never been fitted to my car. $250 brand new im willing to sell for $100. cheers
  4. My car came with a blue cusco brake cylinder stopper but what exactly do they do? at first i thought it was just a pretty bit of blue metal but apparently not haha cheers guys also i have heard that having one installed you may have to adjust the brake pedal so that the travel in the pedal before you actually brake is reduced? at the moment it feels like there is a good 20-25mm travel before i actually start to break.
  5. As stated in the topic, i have an r33 series II stock intercooler for sale, reason for sale is that i bought myself a gk fmic from the group buy. looking for $150 but im open to offers. cheers
  6. Hey guys, when i bought my car it handled great and felt like it was on rails and the steering was very stiff, today when drove though i noticed that the steering felt spongy and very loose. i checked my front sway (or strut?) bar and it was tight and i couldnt move it however the bar which runs across the boot feels lose and it wiggles around a little bit. it seems as though where it attaches to the chasis on the right hand side the bolts are a touch loose. should i tighten those up then tighten the actualy sway bar up? My tyres feel like they need abit of air so im going to do that, would that be another factor why my car feels abit spongy to steer? Is there anything else i should check out while im at it? its weird, my fmic hose poped off this arvo and just after this happened it felt like my steering was all spongy so im freaking out that i have damaged somthing when the cooler pipe blew off, scared the shit at how loud the POP is when it happens. cheers guys
  7. Is the sound a very quick ticking noise? From what i gathered NEO engines are meant to be quieter but the noise your cams/valve train make can also indicate the condition of the engine. anyone feel free to correct me if im wrong.
  8. Money rules stuck up cocks like you, the other 3/4 of working class actually appreciate working to buy their own stuff. haha i cant even say it? what is there to say? im an apprentice electrical fitter mechanic? would you like me to send you my tax return so you can compare how much we earn? again, carrying about things like money and how much you have only prove your immaturity and how much of a rich little daddys boy you are. haha yes some people do have things to prove *my parents own a 911*. anyways f*ck it im out, whether you drive a 34 and have a ton of money, id still rather not be known as a f*ckwit then drive a 34 and have money. cheers
  9. I bought my 33 2 months ago and how much i earned has SFA to do with you. your saying a bank or finance company loaned you $21,000 for a car when your 18? also, just interested how did you manage to get insurance for it, seeing as its a 34 and a *upper class* car? OH and a keyboard warrior also! shit man, im really keen for YUO TO BASHEZ ME WITH YUO l337 FITINGZ SKILLZ!!! Haha, i shake my head at people like you.
  10. Yeah man but the difference is i paid for my 33 with my OWN hard earned cash, admitadely im on very good money for a first year apprentice (Energex) but i still saved cash and bought my own car, i didnt just run to daddy and ask for his cheque book, but like you said, ive managed to keep my 33 in one piece.... Yeah i'd pick a 34 if my dad was paying for it aswell..... *rolls eyes*
  11. Yeah well all he did was make himself to be an evern bigger twat then people already thought he was. *oh oh omg i drive a 34 that my dad bought omg omg you drive a povo 33* ..... sh*ts me to f*cking tears.
  12. man..... why cant these things be on a monday!!! arggh i get every second monday off, its my RDO but these days are always on tuesday... it saddens me!
  13. That comment about you being in a 34 and her in a 33 was f*cking bullshit 12 year old girl shit dude. Id rather be in a *33* that I paid for then in a 34 that my DADDY paid for. do you feel cool telling people you drive a 34 that your daddy paid for?
  14. So you had a *life threatening crash* but still went to school to do an english exam? does your school not accept doctors certificates if your absent from an exam? one of my friends wrote off his n13 the day of a year 12 maths exam and the doctors certificate allowed him to do it on another day.
  15. Hey how do you go about getting one of those stickers? cheers
  16. 19 people viewing 1 thread has to be some kinda of a record.....
  17. Just as a point of interest, where did you buy the nipple from and where did you get it welded on? I was just going to ring some exhaust shops about it. my cooler pipes are alluminium so i need to find someone profficient at welding it. at the moment ive got the line t'd off to my BOV vacum line and the boost is spiky and it feels like ive lost power. cheers
  18. Interested to see the pics dude, like the other guy said, this is either bullshit or you are the unluckiest guy in the world.
  19. Nah mate i plumbed the line that was connected to the stock coole piping onto the vacum line which runs from the inlet manifold to the top of my plumback blow off valve so its still only boosting 0.5bar. I will get a nipple welded onto the pipes as soon as i can though. cheers
  20. Hey guys, on sunday i installed my gk tech cooler and all went well after some hasltes fitting and we got the cooler on. however, the intercooler piping does not have the niple on it that the stock piping had so i took the vacum hose which was plumbed onto the stock piping and T peiced it off on the vacum hose coming from the top of my plumback bov. as of now when i give the car abit the boost can spike to as high as 0.9bar then instantly go back down to 0.5bar then rise again to about 0.7bar near redline. would it have something to do with the length of the hose i used to plumb the stock boost solenoid into the bov vacum line? Pretty soon im going to get a nippled welded onto the cooler pipes in the same spot that the stock one was but for now, is there somewhere else i should plumb that hose to? if i havnt explained myself enough let me know. cheers
  21. when you put the stock cooler back on did the new whistle go away?
  22. Are you talking about the white 33 with the carbon bonnet and the auto barn $30 special gt wing? car would be so much hotter without it imho.
  23. yeah the turbo whistle has gone crazy since i did my install, i just put it down to the different sound of air going through the longer pipes or somthing.
  24. hhhm.... thats odd, when i fitted my cooler yesertday i noticed that there is throttle lag when you drive normally but when you punch it you dont notice anything. my car screams now from turbo spool and induction noise but i dont think its a bad thing. although my car does now flutter heaps, sounds like wastegate flutter to me.
  25. Nah mate im happy with it, i was just abit stumped as to why my pipes didnt line up or fit properly, knowing my luck i probably got the only kit in the world with the pipes mishaped, i have a tendecny to buy new things which are broken. overall a good kit though, sure beats the sh*t outa forking out $1200+ for an arc/pwr for the time being. just gotta go out and buy some beefy hose clamps, the cooler almost popped off in 2 places today after boosting. haha cheers
