thanks for the reply i went outside and checked and also discovered that i can't turn on any of my inside lights, the whole car is dead, btw, i have never replaced the car battery since i bought the car 2.5 yrs back, could it be the battery?

i went to get into my car, i press the alarm button on the keyring like always but this time nothing happens, after a few more presses my alarm starts making buzzing sounds, this went on for about 10 minutes, now it just has a very slight sound coming from it, i replaced the batteries in both keyrings (maybe that was the cause of it), still nothing, I can't turn the car on, when i knock/push the car theres no alarm sound either like there was before. It's some mongoose alarm that i got installed about 2.5 yrs back. does anyone have any ideas what the problem is before i ring the guy who came out and installed it for me, if his still around. thanks

theres no bad smells, so i take it the leaks aren't that bad ??

mines a dodgy welding job when the exhaust was made, which i forgot to mention, so the leaks are around where the welds are along the exhaust

Hi can any damage occur if u have a few exhaust leaks + a burnt out cat?? at the moment the car drives nice (besides the power loss), i don't have any smoke etc? it's beens like this for about 2 months, i should get it sorted soon thanks

I was thinking about a retrim, but then i see so many other nice looking wheels that i could buy instead. whats the legal limit of a steering wheel? i have a series 1 r33, i don't like the size of the wheel, wouldn't mind something a bit smaller

I want to get my front bar resprayed on my series 1 r33, it's a two tone colour, I'm just wondering roughly what price i might be looking at, i will go to a few workshops next week, I just want an idea on price, there isn't any damage etc, just minor stone chips and tiny scratches. thanks

what would u recommend for the hard plastic part below the rubber, mines starting to look a bit greyish (just slightly), would the mr sheen stuff work?

^ i have no idea, i bought the pump brand new and gave it to the workshop to install, thats all i know

it only started happening since i got the new fuel pump installed though, never happened before

i do that sometimes and it still does it, i was told to let it prime for only a few seconds, oh well as long as theres nothing wrong for me to worry about thanks

I'm not sure if i have asked this before or not, I got a bosch 040 fuel pump installed in my car a while back, since then i sometimes have to turn the key a couple times to start the car,(not always) i told the person about this who installed the pump and they said it was fine and that theres nothing wrong, i'm just curious cause with my stock pump i never had to turn the key more then once to start the car, the car ALWAYS started nicely with the stock pump. thanks

I really want to put my old airbox back on (getting tired of the pod filter noise), the only problem is the snorkel doesn't fit becuase of the intercooler piping, is there custom airboxes i can buy? or even something to enclose my pod into as my pod is behind my front bar at the moment and i'm just a bit scared of too much water getting sucked up. thanks

no it's coming from the outside, back right corner, i stuck my head out the window and i can hear it from the back, it does have a hissing noise but it changes sound when the aircon is on, it changes to a whining noise

I have a bosch 040 fuel pump installed in my gtst r33, i noticed when i have the aircon on and when i'm in traffic and have the car in first gear the fuel pump make a whining noise as opposed to not having the aircon on where it's just a slight hissing sound, is this normal? apart from that there is nothing wrong, just the difference in noise. I only got the pump installed about 4 months ago , it was brand new. thanks

Hi I had the car up on the hoist today at my mechanics and saw that the bottom of the turbo is covered with oil, though it's not dripping down, I was told it could be the seal?, the car doesn't blow smoke apart from a little when i give it a boot in 2ND, and even then it's just a bit of greyish smoke and only happens sometimes, not much, thanks for any help
