  1. Bingo! Doesn't take a genius to figure that out....yet the authorities will probably turn a blind eye.
  2. Doesn't EL use the buyers agent Nobu?? You see him in the youtube videos, showing of the car right after his purchased them.... In his more recent videos, his been been moving really quickly past the dash so you don't see the ODO! Disappointed to see MCM endorsing EL!!
  3. Bump! For the moment, its Pick Up only from Melbourne
  4. Apexi Power FC Commander hand controller Series FCC3 Few scuff marks - however in good working condition Price: $200 Pick UP only - Melbourne ================================================= Contact: Andrew Email : PM Phone: 0421 737 551 Location: Melbourne
  5. But from the videos these guys have been posting on youtube over the years it appears nothings been done to stop them??!? Take this for example... And I quote "I've got an R34 GTR straight from the HKS factory" - "What's been done to it - it's got whatever HKS can throw at it" And Chris that video was posted in DEC 2008. It must suck to be an honest import broker/compliance centre when you miss out on importing track spec GTR's, EVO's and S15 because your doing the right thing and following the rules...
  6. Yeah I understand exactly what you're trying to say... Importing a car with a few bolt on goodies (wheels, intake, exhaust) can be swapped around during compliance. However cars with masses of bolt bits like the ones above is just ridiculous! I'd love to see the stock ECU swapped back into the GTR for compliance then having the HKS VCam re-installed without having to fly over a Japanese tuner himself to set everything back up! It surprises me after all these years that people can still get away with things like this Well if i'm ever in the market for a highly modded import, might as well just use these guys without having to worry about possible compliance or rego hurdles
  7. Random question/rant.... How the hell do these guys manage to get cars like the following through compliance and registration??? And I wouldn't believe for a second that these cars would've been bought back to stock then complied!
  8. My compliance place charged me extra for brake pads and labour to change them.... Thought that was all covered under the $2200 fee!!?
  9. Looks like its been pulled off the site
  10. Digital odometers are apparently just as easy to wind back... Some online store advertise their kits as 'plug & play' Not to sure what can be done after you've discovered its been wound back...besides using the courts and so on...
  11. @ndrew

    R35 Bootlid

Yahoo Japan...?? You could go through Import Monster...
  12. Funnily enough most of there cars are around 60KM to 80KM Coincident.....i doubt it
  13. Well spotted! Did sell way over there asking price Kristian?
  14. Head to Daikoku Futo in Toyko on a Friday night for awesome car meets!
  15. Absolutely loved the mini chocolate macadamia nut boxes and so cheap too!
  16. Well that's not entirely true as I’ve just returned from Japan and was using my mobile the whole time. I'm with 3 and i was using a Nokia E71 roaming. Had no issues whatsoever with receptions, but it is very costly!
  17. Munkyboy what you planning on doing in Oasaka & Kyoto?? I've planned the majority of my stay in Tokyo but can't seem to gather many locations to visit in the other two cities. Also from what period you travelling? Might bump into you in Shinjuku.
  18. Bit of a noob question, but i haven't really bought anything back like that before.... What will Australian customs say about the exhaust? Would i skate under the rader if the value declared is under $1k?
  19. I'll also be heading over for 11 days early June. Planning to buy a HKS exhaust; any suggestions on the cheapest and most efficient way of bring it back with me, should be a 15KG box.
