Sounded like a great outing! Do you need a CAMS license for these sort of track days? If so, how do we go about getting one?

Hi Kev, Nah we didn't.. I guess we were too rapt about the 12.4 to bother trying any better. We might take it again in the next fews weeks and try it without the ESP.. we'll see how we go.

yes, I remember pissen myself about that headlight I said you surely don't drive around with that light like that?? he reckons it's been like that for over a year or so with no problems. But, gotta say, that is one hell of an interior job he's done.

Had great night last night, took the GTR, E55 & our mate brought his 2003 M3.. and I finally got a clean pass with the GTR "not a good one" but we were still happy. The E55 was the biggest suprise, we thought high 12's low 13's and on its first run with ESP on did a 12.56 (on Comfort Setting =Soft Suspension), the best was a 12.4 @115MPH (on Super Sports Setting =Hard Suspension??go figure), The M3 "Manual" did 1 run at 13.34 @104MPH. The best time we got with the GTR was a flat 12, but shifted into 4th way way way to early (5grand) and had a 118MPH, with a high 1.9sec 60ft. It was obvious traction played a big problem, for the GTR, with launches varying between 5000-6500rpm. But what was apparantley impressive to others were our first 2 runs. Our first 2 runs were a 12.2 & 12.3, with 60ft's in the 2.1's, but our MPH were around the 122's~. A few people we spoke to were saying with MPH like that the car is capable of an easy low 11, some were saying Hi 10??? WTF??? Trying to be a little realistic, we though at least a high 11, maybe mid 11.. I'm hoping someone can explain alittle further on the "MPH" figure. Also, it was Nice to me Ulyisis .

Hi Erin, yes.. I've put the word out to a few friends in the motor industry to keep their eyes open for an R34 GTR "prefferably" silver, and was recently told about this particular one.

Initialy I thought it was a NSW car, but just found out it's a QLD car... So, Does anyone know of someone selling/trading in a Silver R34 GTR in Queensland?? I believe they are trading it for a BMW... The reason I ask, because a dealer I know from BMW in Melbourne, said he knows of "I think it's - Silver" GTR R34 coming from QLD which they are trying to negotiate a trade in on. And I wanted to find out if any of you guys new anything about this car... pretty broad chance I know, but thought I would try my luck. Cheers.

oh my!! who really gives a flying hoot??? This car is better than that car...this car does this qtr Mile... blah blah blah! I buy a car coz it suits my wants, my rex suited my wants until I drove a GTR, the realised I obviously wanted more . NoLimit, if it's a WRX you want, Then why didn't you buy one???

hi kg, the only person I know who has a dual system in his R33 GTR is JAGR33 I think it's a Kakimoto and it sounds awesome. In fact I think he is sellin it, maybe PM him, or have a chat to him about them.

thanks guys, but I'm not sure the car is actually on a lot as yet. It's more likely this R34 is being traded in, and the dealer trading it has no use for that type of car, and trying to sell it off to the highest "wholsaler" bidder.
