I'm thinking of buying some rice accessories for my gtr... however the added weight mean I'll sacrifice power.. & I'll need a towbar for this 215hp "supercharged" GTR beast for the water. What do yo'll think? Is the color ok & do you think it will match when it's hooked to the white gtr?

No doubt about that!!!! Thank god santa brought me a deep pocket full of shoosh-ka! & I still want more with currently 270kw at the wheels. We have 2 cars I mainly drive, one is the series 3 gtr the other is a $240K E55. In all honesty, I drive the gtr 8 out of 10 times, because It make me feel like I lost my virginity all over again . The a benz, as much as I love it, it's more a business impression than anything. But, it makes me feel like I'm going through a midlife crisis compared to the gtr... And believe me this benz is quick!!! Off the line the gtr eats it, but rolling, the benz is there all the way! Overall for the money, the gtr is awesome value, the closest thing I could compare it is the 996 turbo "manual" not the tiptronic.

i thought the actuator had the setting marked on the unit itself, but I'm buggered if I could find it, just a bunch of serials? anyone know.

i have mate in melbourne, who's bored of dragging coz noone keeps up, & those who know the car refuse to drag him... so the only things he drag are r1's. he reckon's upto ~200k's he beats em, but then they leave him. How about one of Oztralia's finest XE falcon, 250 crossflow, straight gas running 10's street! soon it will be in the 9's. Dan, most of us have been there, done that...etc when looking to get into a gtr . including mmmwahh! I'm curious though as to what you define as heavily modified & whether you have a hp/kw range in mind? As for finding a clean "genuine" gtr! good luck. there are heaps of'em out there & off the top of my head i reckon less than 10% are the genuine article. by way of no panel damage, plates missing, numbers matching, years matching... bla bla bla. A classic was series 1's, being sold as 2's & 3's. I know of a purple vspec in WA, with purple wheels with exactly that same crap. Once you find the genuine article, then iof luck find its way to you, hopefully it's modified the way you wish! Good luck.

Hey... I saw that car on mickleham road, then he followed me onto the tulla fwy. but his driving was ok... Yeh! Gunmetal metal r32, and I remember thinking wtf with those stickers along the side of the car. Reminded me of a gunmetal r33 I see a bit on the ring road, with orange stickers covering the whole sides.

Thanks Merli & Amaru, Camshafts... hmmm sounds finger licking good to me . Couple of things, with the 256 what lift?? I think the mine's car run 256 with a 9.1 lift thereabouts.. Is it a big job & considering the above +the 2530's my internals will be at their max... if I include the cams, am I going to even further risk blowing something eg pistos, rings.. etc?

That's intersting, I dont have the original GTR dash, but on my nismo, redline is at 9000rpm, & the yellow "redline is at 8000rpm"... do they go by the dash?? or the factory specs?

james, did you ask them how they deterimen what rpm to rev your car at?? 1.. that seems way too high & 2... rpm levels seem so inconsistent eg: one guy in st albans rev to ~3800 another revs em to 5000?? WTF :confused:

Looking for some opinions on the following items for the GTR.. I would ideally like the parts interchangeable between the R33 & R34 GTR's, however if it isnt possible thats OK. I'm about to install my HKS GT2530 & SARD 700 injectors... looking for around 320-350kw @ the wheels, but was also considering the following items.. 1. Fuel Pump.. Bosch 044 or Nismo Pump.. heard the Nismo is a direct fit? 2. Oil Cooler... Dunno much'o about these & which brand.. saw the GREX oil cooler But again when the R34 arrives, can this be swapped onto the 34? 3. Intercooler.. Thanks to Sydneykid he thinks the Greedy 600x300x115, but I thought I saw somewhere that I need some major mods to fit this giant.. if so, is there a IC that is close to that size that is a direct replacement without much mods? And can it be swapped onto the 34? 4. Oil Catch Can... Do I need one of these? Searched, & found the Cusco cans are good, but any other opinions? 5. Dump Pipes.. CES racing, HKS, or Nismo?? Again, varying opinions but read a post by the kid from Sydney, saying somethin about the HKS having a shorth wastgate seperater, and the longer ones seem to work better? Also noticed that the mines dumps are not split..hmmm opinions appreciated. thanks guys.
