  1. Have you got a pick of the dump pipe? Would you sell this seperatly? Is it a split dump? Do you know whether this fits the stadard turb's on the gtr? Thanks PS: I'm serious! & hopefully being "polite :D"

  3. OK! sorted it out... Wrong freak'n pump! Guys check to see that your serials are correct. Those who have "454 044" are actually OE Pumps made for citroen's & the puegot 505 V6~ & are not Univeral pumps.
  4. Based on marks upgrades, is this about the limit of the internals? And, would an oil catch can help as far as protection?
  5. Picked up my 044 fuel pump, & after checking my serial numbers with those posted by forum members mine are different but still end in 044?? Mine read: 0 580 464 044 and the forum says they should be: 0 580 254 044 It's to be fitted to my gtr, what's the go here?
  6. Hi mark, you should be happy with that .. It's a good indication for me, as you know, I'm pretty much heading down the same destructive path as you with my R33 GTR S3.. except I might give the dumps & the intercooler a miss. I'll post em up as soon as we're done.

    Hi Adam, & welcome to victoria "the place to be defected" --> had to do that INASNT! It sounds like your Air Fuel Ratio's. I had a similar problem with the GTR. nothing a dyno tune can't fix. That's of course if you have a programmable unit ecu or safc

  11. guys I need to borrow a genuine series 3 front lip for a gtr... see pic attached. I would happily compensate them for their efforts. I will need it for around a week or 2 at the most. *Edit* I'm arranging copies to be made via injection moulding, thus we will be using the part for set up purposes only, & not fitting it to any car etc... We may take into consideration, if anyone has other parts they would like made up & depending on interest. meshmesh

  15. geoff, how much difference do you think there'd be if you sprayed directly into the manifold? compared to what you've done.

  17. wow guys... there's some really high knock level numbers. I thought the eninge light appears when the power fc knock hits 60+. In the gtr I dont see over 31~
  18. Gee's geoff, you gotta take a chill pill & relax, Now I'm not sure that you read my post correctly, Those 4 words, should tell you I dont have a post graduate in water injection. As I said, I thought that water injection is directly sprayed into the manifold. I did a search some time ago, & all I got was "intercooler spray" type threads, obviously were nozzles spray water directly onto the coolers. Now you've just gone & confused the sh!t out me. No hard feeling

  20. Now I think about it, your right. A mate has a 'AUTO' 10sec street XE falcon, & even he get's someone else to drag it. And he's built it all from scrath over the past 3years...hmmm is it really that hard??? He's also never ending in finding the next thing to perfect on the car. He's just upgraded his Garret 700hp, to some new Garret capable of 1000hp. PS: He's the one that SWEARS by Water Injection into the manifold. So much so, he keeps it close to his bible..
  21. guys, what are your thoughts on maybe starting a "Project Thread" on specs to build our own "SAU Gtr N1", perhaps focusing on finer points rather than the average mods - Exhaust, Pods, PFC, CAI.. The criteria would be (maybe basing it on Mine's theory) eg: 1. Power limit around 600hp 2. Budget ??? (leave this up to you - maybe to save money we could option used) Maybe 10-20K 3. Weight reduction options - as light as possible 4. Has to be realisticlly street drivable 5. Like "the man who says he doesn't know everything ;)" SydneyKid said, "Mine's concentrate their efforts on response from the engine, not outright power" Maybe we should concentrate a little more here, also. 6. Finally, keeping the Sleeper look retainging as much of the standard car as possible.

  23. geoff, not sure that what you've got is "real" water injection. I thought water injection is a mist spray of water directly into the manifold. I have a mate running this on his car, he's running ~35-40psi from his 1000hp garret turbo. He swears by it.
