  1. I'm they closed for the holiday season, & now should be back, as I received an email from brent yesterday. Overall I've bought many things from brent & had no issue at all. Apart from a slight delay, out of his control whilst waiting for the Power FC & HC.
  2. In 1993 I lost 8 very close freinds & family within a 9month period, the last one to pass away was my best mate who died in my arms, & infront of a few of our freinds. That year changed my outlook on life forever, especially the way I took so many things for granted including those closest to me. Some very (may seem weird to others) special & unbelievable things have happened since then that confirm to me "& those who witnessed these moments" that life exists beyond what we call life. I truely believe your mother is the angel watching over you. My prayers are with you & your family, God Bless.

  4. Had these on my Benz, they are Lorimers "i think" & yet to see anyone else with them. Currently there fitted with 275's rear, 245's front. see the pics... I think they should fit but check first. If you're interested they come with the tyres. Looking around the 4.5-5K

Rezz, firstly, I know mines list some pricing, but with your contacts in japan... when you get a chance could you perhaps work out some rough estimates on similar weight reduction products as listed above eg: PROPPELOR SHAFT, EXHAUSTS & AERO PARTS. Which makes me think, if I could achieve the 600hp mark in my GTR, I doubt it would be as fast as the mines car.
  8. No.. that's what started me thinking, after reading that article & then viewing my video, I couldn't believe it. If you have seen the Best Motoring video, the japs go ballaistic over the car, saying something along the lines of "this would wake up a dead man it soooo fast" Some things I'm confused about, the website says the engine is a Stage 2 upgrade??, but I think the video says the engine is stock apart from cams, cam gears & turbos. They even retain standard air box, rear brakes etc etc.. Although it does mention they highly focused on weight reduction. Reducing the total weight of the car to ~1300kg using carbon fibre, titanium etc. If I recall in stock form the R34 is around ~1550... a 250kg difference.
  9. After reading an article, & after seeing the Best Motoring video of this car. I am hard to believe that this car only produces ~600hp with such minimal mods & being so so so faaast... I'm wondering if anyone has a link to the cars full specs list?   12. I've driven both the RX8 & 350Z. Things I disliked, 350Z..I agree the 350 wears you out, it's cramped & the being 6ft~ I felt like my head was holdinh up the roof. Luggage space..??none. RX8..Only 1 thing I "HATED" was the engine, god was it a heartless wonder. There's about as much torque as a silent lamd. typically rotar. Unless your the type that likes to drive around town sitting on 6000rpm + then you'll love it. But really it's gutless. In a perfect world the RX8 would have come with the 350Z motor. But if space is an issue the RX8 wins hands down, if drive is an issue the 350Z is like the Coalition hunting down Saddam Hussein in his bunker. "suddenly the RX doesn't look so nice" EDIT: "Go halves with the misses???" I dont know your relatonship, but if she's your fiance', wife, girlfriend etc.. doesn't it all come out the one account?? INASNT dont be a tight@ss just suprise her & pay for it out of your $70K p/a job.

  15. Sydneykid & others, "just a thought??" I am willing to put up my GTR for a back to back comparison between the commonly used HKS 2530's, & the closest Garret equivilant "maybe the garret GT25", You say that you can match specs to suit requirements?? let me know what you need to know, & I will be willing to buy a pair of Garret turbos if someone can supply the HKS 2530 for the compare. I'm sure the boys at ICE could orgainse something with ben from racepace for some dyno time. My mods are your basic gtr mods such as: Power FC HKS EVC IV Full Exhaust "stock dumps" Cam Gears Don't know how difficult or big a job this would be between the two makes, but it's just a thought.

  18. Thanks Jag, I know of ben, & believe the boys at ICE are close with him aswell, I think they also use his dyno. I have had some minor work done by ICE & been very happy so far.
  19. Someone reccommend to me a Guy called Vince from Promech in Richmond who was part of Gibson motorsport & is apprantley factory trained, to check out & tune the GTR. Any comments or opinions appreciated.
  20. AFM readings after CAI install: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Fitted a cold air duct up the left hand guard to the HKS Pods, on the GTR. Noticed straight away Air Flow Reading on the Power FC Hand Controller jumped quite abit, & is close to maxing out hitting around 4800. Also noticed... 1. some occassional jolting when accelleratoring. 2. the smell fuel 3. And more backfiring 4. Using more fuel "After the power FC" I'm getting 260-280k per tank" 60% hwy Power FC O2 Sensor Q: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Whats the go with >ETC >Functions - directory What does this do? I'm asking because I was playing around with & changed a few of the settings from yes to no & visa versa. I didn't touch the Boost Controller, but did change the O2 Sensor. I also noticed 2 drectories for O2 one is FB the other is below. Have I stuffed anything up? Tuners In Victoria - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I'm planning on going to ICE & have them retune the Power FC, but someone mentioned to me a Guy call Vince from Promech in Richmond who was part of Gibson motorsport & is apprantley factory trained?   21. I haven't exactly the best method for payment as yet, but it would be pay before you receive, no Aus Post COD, all prices don't include delievery. I can only get a continual discount depending on our first few orders. If we can come up with the numbers 5~10units as our inital order, then it shouldn't be a prob later on. But at this stage it looks like I have around 3orders so we are still a little off.
  22. Hi Rowdyr32 I thought the same thing, however he said if I recall correctly, they were all the same price. I will confirm this week. Also, regarding cores, parts etc, I'd prefer to just organise discounts for SAU on the turbos. As parts etc can be a back & forth, doesn't fit..etc etc meshmesh

  24. Hi 8thSIN, all I can say is "Good Luck" in finding a half decent GTR. The only thing I would reccomend is getting it checked out by "Someone who really knows" not just someone who thinks they know. By the way, I think Gerald from ICE Performance is selling his Series 1 GTR Vspec.
