  1. yeh i live in np too. noble park is the place to be lol
  2. ok so the common consensus would be for me to buy which the jjr split or something like an apexi gt spec single front pipe...budget is around 400 and the ces would be a waste as its not some 300rwkw tracky
  3. yeh thats what i was thinking...finish the system then get a better panel filter and a fmic but even with the fmic the jjr or cooling pro kits are only like 350 when the hybrid kits are 600ish is that only because they have the hybrid stamp ? lol
  4. what kind of power gain would a dump give you anyway? isn't the stock pipe restrictive so wouldnt a large pipe allow more flow? That pipe from Bos importing why would that better than the JJR it looks pretty much the same would it just be the build quality ?
  5. well thats what i thought and im not after a track car i just want a quick street car so what im getting at would be is the extra 450 you spend on the ces pipe going to give you like 10kw extra or would it just be like 5 if that
  6. Hey can anyone tell me how the JJR Split S/S dump pipes stack up against the lickes of the apexi gt spec single pipe....? im considering buying one but my mechanic keeps trying to convince me to buy this pipe made by a queensland mob called CS i think but it works out to be like 700 bux for the pipe including ceramic coating. Im just thinking what kind of advatage will the 700 pipe have over the 250 pipe and what kind of power difference would the result be. generally what kind of power increase would a dump pipe make to a car with a catback and nothing else?
  7. gees why are so 32 owners so keen to bag 33's? the 33 is just a better car than the 32 gtst. There are more of them because they just are a better car - why buy something in the year 2007 which looks so old ie a match box with tail lights and has a heavy paper weight for an engine. GTR of any model > 34 tt > 33gtst > 32gtst. I used to own a 32 and now i moved up to a s2 33. If you're considering a 32 or 33 - as someone who has owned both i would definitely consider the 33. No need to be gay and save for 5 years for an engine transplant when the rb25 provides enough power for a quick street car and to be a great cruiser. By the time you have blown like 5 grand on a new motor plus all the supporting mods and fabrication it'll be time to move on anyway. As for fuel i get around 450ks a week - in my 32 i got around the same. I cant see the reason you would consider the older slower model when the newer is better and for everyone who says oh its so common get the f**k over it anyone with 15k would buy a 32 they just prefer the 33. PERIOD.
  8. has anyone tried the new potenza from bridgestone?
  9. i wonder if this will be as tuneable as the rb26
  10. just walk into a servo and say you left it on the top of your car and drove off and ask if they have picked up an extra one. the servo guy will should just give you one if they have one. if not go into autobarn or supercheap or something similar.
  11. those are some pretty high prices i picked up my series 2 for 16k fully stock but with engine compression of 160 even across all 6. For 20k you would be looking at a fairly modified sII and for 16k it would be a fairly modded s1. Difference between the two: series 2 has newer interior 2 airbags and a turbo which boosts quicker and umm a new steering wheel. have a look in the for sale section on here you will find something with a few goodies for 16k
  12. i live in noble park north and i have only ever been pulled over once and that was at a booze bus, is there something wrong with me? is the car not appealing gees

    Sunday Night

im working a night shift atm till 9am then i have an exam at 10am thats my public holiday yay
  15. definitely a good idea to go na first. My first car was a toyota celica(gay i know but hey it was my training wheels), Then a mx6(bit more power still gay), followed by a R32 GTST(lots of fun and gave me a feel but wasnt the most responsive to mods) and now a series 2 R33(still alot of fun, doesnt handle as well as the 32 but is more powerful and responsive to mods). If you're not in the position to afford a turbo or haven't had much experience or just simply like the way na's drive, i strongly suggest buying a na.
  16. ok my bad :S
  17. i have previously owned a 32 and now a s2 33. the 25 is far better
  18. spin_psycle Posted Today, 09:43 PM QUOTE(jake33 @ 6 May 2007, 09:28 PM) * a 94 motor?? maybe an rb25!! that would be awesome! especially if ya didnt realise. it would be like christmas lets hope its not an rb25! why wreck a good 32 with a 25... nice car anyway dude, btw that bitch better not have metal studs on her jeans u clearly have no idea what you're talking about

  20. insurance isnt that abd im on a rating 3 and only pay about 1400 p/y
  21. i wouldnt let my mrs anywhere near my car period. she can drive me around in her pulsar thanks.
  22. the straight pipe from the turbo is illegal and you will be find many thousands if you're done by epa, its also extremely harmful to the enviroment. Just be normal and get the 3.5 turbo back system.
  23. HI PM SENT ABOUT TURBO TIMER
  24. you probably got an extremely clean gtr and well taken care of gtr. end of the day it all depends on the car you can have a gtst which will give just as many problems. my old gtst cost me about 4.5k in repairs inside a year of owning it. just need ot look hard for something in good condition is all.
