  3. yeh i thought it was a bit much as well but then i was determined to find something that had never been in an accident and all the ones that were 15k or there abouts which i had seen and got tested out showed evidence of an accident. little things such as different paint tones in term of how dull or strong they were to panels alligning with different sized gaps. so when this popped up with no accident history and a real good compression result i thought it might have been the better choice. i dont know if its right or wrong though....what do you think ?
  4. hahaha what the hell is that blob thing ? yeh i was trying to drag it out a bit but it didnt go down too well. Its rediculous how many shit boxes there are out there which have been thrashed was so hard to find something half decent i even went to geelong to have a look at one, great waste of time that was though. I just thought i would also mention that after owning a r32 the 33 definitely feels far quicker and more refined but less sporty? if that makes sence. The difference in torque is very noticeable however even though this thing is fairly stock it still feels like it goes better than my 32 with fmic zorst and actual cai. CANT WAIT TILL I GET IT I HOPE ALL GOES WELL i will be posting pics as soon as i get them...
  5. right..some of you guys are complete wankers but anyway theres always got to be a couple of keyboard warriors around... After searching for a decent example and looking over maybe 15-20 lines in the last 2 months or there about i have found the one of me. The car has a compression result of 155 across all 6 and Pete says there is no evidence on the chassis that the car has been in an accident. I took it to my local panel beater for an inspection and he couldnt find a spot where the panels didnt line up or where the paint looked dull because of dodgy work - more important he didnt find a spot of rust or bog. The car is basically in really good condition. I have over shot my budget a bit however as i planned to keep a couple of grand for a few mods straight away but thats not a real problem as ive got something which is going to last. The car goes into Vicroads on tuesday for an inspection as ill be the first owner in Australia. All up including stampduty number plates booking fees etc it ended up $17220 There were plenty of other series 2's for under the 15k mark but many had been in accidents or didnt have good compression results. Free plug to Ray & Peter at Re Customs and to Robert at Sabbadin Automotive who gave me great honest feed back. Its got 3 1/2 inch turbo back exhaust A pod and a BOV soooo its pretty stock. Mods soon to be will be a fmic and a comp first.

    First Time In A 33

    yeh im going to say i like the 33's better i just sold my 32 and the increase in torque of the 25 is quite noticeable. i also like the styling of the series 2 better - bonnet and bar make it look aggresive and sleak

  13. im not quite sure why everyone keeps saying they're so unreliable...there are 2 guys at my works with a rx3 and rx4 and both claim its been about 160000ks without a rebuild now

  23. ok sweet well this guy reckons its got dual air bags, the upgraded ecu and the interior trim is different too but its still a late 95. How would it have all the bits and pieces of the series 2 but still be made in 95. i didnt even know there was a series 1.5. Is that just a series one with series 2 bits ? so im now fairly confused lol
  24. Hey boys n girls im going to be having a look a 95 model skyline which has the series 2 front bar and bonet. My question is, is there a way to tell a series 1 from a series 2 other than just looking at the bumpers and bonets as in is there a plate or something which would have a different code for a series 1 to a series 2? cheers daniel
