  1. umm not to sure what u mean by the rwkw to the awkw but the way i understand is rwkw is basically how mani kw ur puttin out at the rears where as awkw is wht ur puttin at all 4 wheels... usualy a awd drive train u loose about 40percent of the power or so i was told about WRXs so im guessin if u got a GTR ur loosin a bit of power through the awd system just by havin that draivetrain where as a rear wheel drive would only loose like 20 percent due to it only being rwd and much lighter.... sorry man i dont really know wht ur askin lol but i gave it a go

  3. hey guys this has been happening for awhile but it only happens when its really cold at night and the car hasnt been warmed up that much...so what happens is when i drive and dont accelerate that much it feels like something cuts out in the car like the motor disengages or sumfin (sounds weird i know) but the moment give it a bit n take it bak to like 0.0 on the boostguage the car drives fine. Basically it like cuts out n then engages again moment i rev a bit harder ? Any ideas ? sorry about the description guys its really hard to describe lol Can someone also tell me what pinging is and what spiking is? Oh and anyone know a good mechanic workshop for skylines in the South eastern suburbs in Melb ? My usual mechanic is annoyin me doesnt knwo whats goin on half the time Thanks Daniel

  7. hondas are nice cars no doubt about that but as for turbo charging them and modifying to get some real power out of the things if you spent the same amount of cash on a skyline ud pull out much bigger power... its stupid to compare the two though and as for hondas vs nissan "(stock)" its pretty rediculous to even try and say that a modified nsx would go harder then a gtr...

  9. yeh agree with most of the other guys here petrol depends on how modified ur car is n how u drive it...i get about 380 to a fulltank but mines modified... and interms of driving style if ur gonna thrash such a great car every single day a) ur an ass and b) ur gonna go through petrol quicka cheers

  11. Hey guys ok i got two problems atm lol.... CLUTCH PRICE: 1: My clutch is getting really soft at the moment so i reckon its only got about 5 months left so i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could get it replaced as cheap as possible...but not so cheap that i get some really shit clutch but a decent one and how much i should be paying for a replacement aswel also a good place that knows what they're doing with reasonable prices who can deal with R32s is wht im after so any referals would be great IDLE PROBLEM: Okkkk this is the annoying problem ok so whenever i start the car in the mornings the engine revs kinda high to warm itself up...but then SOMETIMES the revs dont drop back down again they sit at about 1500 and its only when i turn off the ignition and turn it back on that it goes down to about 1000...this happens sometimes oh and also sometimes the hicas light comes on in the mornin when i start the car but when i turn it off and start it again the hicas light has gone off ? second idle problem...sometimes when im driving and im coming to a red light and clutch in the revs sink really low about 500ish...today i came to a stop, slipped into neutral and the revs sank low again this time it went down to about 200 and then slowly hovered up and down till it worked its way up to about 800-900...this happens abit. Sometimes when i start the car it just stalls by itself...itll just start as usual revs go up to about 1200 and then the car just stalls straight away...i then turn the ignition once again and the car starts properly. SOOOOOOO I HAVE NO IDEA WHATS GOIN ON...theres days that the car doesnt do these things at all and drive normally and then theres days like today that jus p1ss me off lol by the way guys i already read alot of the other threads concerning idle problems but they're not all like this in terms that this has a few things weird. soooo if anyone would wanna put in their two cents n help me out itd be greaaaaatttttttttt or if anyone had the exact same probs and figured out what to do itd be even better lol my mechanic reckons it may be a wiring problem with the turbo timer, wht do u guys think ? Btw the car is a 1993 R32 GTST the mods on it are....3inch exhaust, 2.5 inch dump, Blitz dual stage turbo timer/boost guage, Cold air intake, Sard Bov (atmo), manual boost controller Cheers Daniel

Hey everyone i got a sard bov for sale umm it came with my car when i bought it... i chucked it on and after about 2 days took it off cauz im afta a plumback and this is a atmo so anyway im looking for $175 for it just to try and cover the cost for the plumback im gonna buy but im negotiable of price so yeh thanks

  15. ok guys i was givin it to my car abit last ntie and my mates in the car behind me reckons when i went for a gear change a big puff of black smoke came out...it wasnt continuous but rather just a single large puff and yeh... the car doesnt normaly blow a puff of smoke, white or black, except for a lil bit of white smoke earli inthe morn when u first start for only like 10 seconds though n then it doesnt do it at all.... so yeh in total was wondering what the black smoke at gear shift means... thanks
  16. thanks heaps...i do have a boost controller (sorry forgot to mention) i boosted to abotu 15psi and started to shyt myself abit so i turned it down to about 10 lol so i decided to do what u guys said and look at a 33 turbo and yeh its onlly about 300 bux anyone know about how mani kws u can get out of it and how much boost it can handle ? And as for the front mount ive been looking and alot of them, theres heaps of copy ones out there and they all claim to do the same as the hybrid ones but like yeh not too sure about that Im thinkin i should just hold out for a lil while, not settle of crap, go for quality and buy the Hybrid 600mm yeh ? cheers oh and i knwo this isnt the place to post it but im afta a new steerin wheel so if ne1 got one and lives in melb let me know...cheers ( again sorry about postin this in here)
  17. Hey guys i just bought a R32 GTST and interms of engine mods it has a 3inch turbo back exhaust, a Cold Air Intake, a 500hp Boch fuel pump and a BOV. These mods were already on the car so i was wondering what the nxt step would be interms of reachin 180rwkw...... could anyone tell me what coil packs do and if they would give ma a bit of power and yeh what the nxt steps i shoudl be takin were...oh and by the way im not prepared ot buy a bigger turbo or a another ecu atm so yeh jus pov mods at the moment lol thanks Daniel
