  1. Stock bottom end?? Your a brave man, Looks very impressive. Feel free to take all us WA members for a ride.
  2. Had a carbie RB30 dropped off yesterday just wondering if it can be used for a 3L conversion?
  3. Where do you purchase the Tial for $250-$300???
  4. Would you do a swap for an rb20 Nistune ecu + VCT Controller + Money your way?
  5. MSD RPM window switch
  6. Don't forget the rb25de that came in the R32 looks exactly like the rb20
  7. Mafia, Any chance you can put together a list of parts and where you purchased them for the slapper? I'm considering doing this soon as I have just scored a few RB30 Blocks. Not sure if i'd go as far as re ringing and doing the bearings tho for the first block. Second block will be used for a slow build up.
  8. Hypergear turbo will bolt on to stock exhaust manifold exhaust water lines will also fit everything else needs to be redone
  9. Could always try a traditional high mount manifold. Merge collectors are available for sale http://expressparts.com.au/proddetail.asp?prod=QS-2011
  10. Stao, I though my Turbo already have the bigger compressor housing, expecially with how laggy it is. How much to get this done and how much to make a new exhaust housing with an external gate on it?
  11. The cast HKS manifolds seam to do an OK job. Parts would only come up to $300. Was just an idea, lots of 4 cylinder cars seam to use log manifolds. If everyone thinks its a bad idea i might just stick with the stocker for now and get a gate welded onto the housing
  12. Pretty sure the turbo will reach 350rwkw.Its not a high flow and the housings aren't too far of a gt35r with the .82 housing(Think thats the correct housing). I was only considering building my own due to everyone on this forum saying the stock manifolds max out at 300rwkw. My brother is a 1st class welder so i have the welding support if needed.
  13. It's not re inventing the wheel. Its all about the tinkering and learning. Stock manifold is good for 300rwkw my goal is around the 350rwkw mark.
  14. Hey guys looking at welding up my own log manifold for my R33. I have a Hypergear ATR43G3/ATG28G4 that is internally gated. I don't want to buy an ebay manifold, and really can't afford a 6boost type manifold. Looking at learning to weld(I have some welding experience) and creating my own. Found this site that sells the needed parts http://www.expressparts.com.au/manifoldmaterials.asp Was planning to buy the rb25 exhaust flange, 4 buttweld tee's,2 90deg elbows, 1 straight pipe for all the little joins and 1 T3 Flange. Should i be using the 1 1/4" or 1 1/2" piping? I have a spare stock exhaust manifold to make up a jig to get the turbo sitting in the stock position. Also plan on getting a dead head to help with construction. Just wondering if any one on here has done this before and has any helpful hints. I also plan to hake provisions for an external gate. Any tips on placement?
  15. I'm after this info as well. Would like somewhere that will hiflow clean and flow test with reports on each injector
  16. What do you think of the hiflows? Idle quality, cold start, power making ability?
  17. I'm also looking into this option. Injectors for RB engines seem really really over prices compared to say an LS1/XR6 Turbo
  18. Any idea why Deatschworks stopped making the 740cc injectors?
  19. Reading this makes me want to get my head checked out. I have lag, stalling, excessive fuel consumption issues. Without an air leak to be found.
  20. Never had a problem with the Belkin USB adaptor(With Nistune or Wolf). You could always buy a Serial PC Card and never have a problem again.
  21. The expensive Belkin adaptors work very well. The cheaper USB->DB9 adaptors use a cheap RS232 chip that causes these sorts of problems.
  22. Where do you get the dual side actuaries from? I'm guessing you hook them up like a external wg?
  23. Looks like you will have to go all custom. Get a dump and front pipe made seperatly. That way you only need to get the dump remade. Better option would be to go the turbo now as you will save a few $100 remaking the dump
  24. I doubt a standard VL cat would be anywhere near enough for that turbo 3.5" - 4" Metal cat should do the job
  25. For now install a cat back system and a metal cat leave the dump and front pipe. When i installed my ATR43G3 the stock front pipe didn't quite line up correctly meaning i had to get one custom made. Might save you a fe $$$ waiting till your turbo has been installed
