    can this be done on existing turbos with just a rear housing swap?

    Is you car a Series 1.5? ie it has a series 2 motor? If so its built into the coil packs so no need for the ignitor box

    This turbo is far from bolt on the water/oil lines are no where near fitting even when clocking the turbo while its on the exhaust manifold. I sugest in the future you advise client how much of a f**k around it really is and supply custom lines with the turbo. And no its not my lack of mechanical know how. If i can swap in a new rb26 in a 32 gtr with out a hoist and with out dropping a gear box then this semi bolt on turbo should be a breaze

    had a return flow cooler on my old 32. Work a treat never had any problems and even with a rb25 turbo on it didn't seam laggy at all

    Cheers for that exactly what i was thinking just wanted to make sure it wouldn't damage the turbo having it loose and moving around alot

    Stao still having trouble getting these lines on the turbo. Can I mount the turbo on the exhaust manifold then clock it or will i rick damaging it like that? Tried 5 times so far and still nothing matches up even had it against an old rb20 turbo.

    Also should i be using any thread sealant for the new oil line when connecting to the block?

    All lines except the oil feed should bolt up. I have the braided oil feed. Just wanna make sure i can turn the housings without having to send the turbo back.

    Stock turbo removed yesterday, went to start bolting up my ATR28G4 and none of the oil/water lines fit. I need to clock both housings 90deg. If i do this my self is the warranty gonna stay intact?

    I'm on quite a budget with my build and am using a Hypergear ATR28G4 IW on the stock manifold. Plan is to eventually run an external gate on the stock manifold. I have a spare stock manifold and a die grinder and plan to port match to the gasket on both ends of the stock manifold and maybe abit of ceramic coating. Will this make a difference on the amount of power that can be made?

    Don't totally dismiss a 33. They have always been my least favorite skyline. I Had to sell my r32 gtr as it was unlicensed and I sold and purchased another house so i needed the money for that. Purchased a 33 for $9600 in ok condition and i haven't had a problem yet, very nice daily driver easy in traffic even with the HD clutch. Still not my favorite skyline but i actually like them now.

    Stao, 280rwkw sounds good, how far will she go if I chose to later on change to an external gate setup? Quality of the turbo also looks pretty damn good. Dump pipe welds are of good quality aswell. Only problem is the VBand clamp you sent is too narrow to fit to both the turbo and dump at the same time. I sent you an eamil about it about an hour ago. Hopefully she will be sitting on the 25 shortly.

    Cost 1330 all up including dump pipe and oil line. I was told it will bolt up to the standard manifold with out any spacers.

    Hoping to install it next weekend. Will be awhile before its makiong decient power tho. Still need front pipe and hi flow cat, fuel pump, injectors and afm

    520hp. A forged CA18 with the external gated version of this turbo made 344rwkw. More funds pending i will probably move to the external gate setup

    Just received my Hypergear ATR28G4 Internal Gated Turbo. Shes going on my S1.5 R33. Will post up some photo's of the install in the coming weeks.

    Check all injector loom connections. Give em a clean if they look abit off. Could also be an earth gone wrong

    Firmware fix does wonders idle works fine for me.
