  1. Any one know any WA workshops that own the old Vane dynos? I'm wanting to buy one. They come up on ebay all the time but shipping is so god damn expensive. Have fuel injected a Yamaha banshee and we are wanting to dyno tune it. Figure its cheaper to buy an old one than paying for hours of dyno time.
  2. For $1200 id be talking to hypergear about a brand new turbo Try the ART28G4 including internal gate kit oil line and dump pipe its costing me $1330 delivered will flow over 300rwkw
  3. Why not build an rb30 for it? Should be cheaper than an 2b26 conversion
  4. 32 gts4 are 100% turbo. I'm guessing Nissan didn't release the 33gts4 and 34gt4 as a turbo because it would be too close the the performance of the GTR
  5. Care to share any details on this chip?
  6. Wouldnt mind some better pics of the whole turbo setup. Can you give some more details regarding age warranty. Also do you have the compressor side piping, bother entry and exit to go with it?
  7. Im looking at using an atmega chip to do it. Should be to hard to count rpm and output a signal
  8. Good to see my old thread alive and kicking still. Im on my 3rd Nistune board now. Using an Rb20 ecu to run my rb25 starts fine drives ok just need to tune her now. Direct bolt on no stuffing with wires i just need to hook up a vct controller now
  9. Oh and if your gonna be rebuilding the 25 why not buy a forged 30 block from spool or rips?
  10. I Have a Series 1.5 R33 with the basic mods already done: Cooler Exhaust EBC HD Clutch I have set my self a challenge 300rwkw for $4000 Heres the break down on what im buying: RB20DET ECU $110 Nistune $361.50 Hypergear ATR28G4 .82 T3x $950 Internal wastegatekit $150 Oil feeding line $80 Dump pipe $150 Z32 AFM $299 Z32 AFM Plug $59 Walbro 500HP Fuel Pump $175 Sard 850cc Injectors $979 Total $3313.5 I'll probably be able to get AFM and injectors cheaper. I Will be doing the tune my self they hiring a dyno for an hour for a final clean up on the map. Only things i may need are a hi flow cat and maybe a stronger clutch(not sure on this yet) Oh and I will be making a vct controller aswell but that shouldnt cost me more that $100
  11. Considering a z32 ECU can be used to run an RB25 engine. Why not keep the z32 ecu and loom and adapt it to fit the rb25? Should be fairly easy change a few sensors/plugs over and your done.
  12. My brother is a boilermaker so i might have a chat to him when hes back in town regarding the welding of different metals together and issues of cracking.
  13. How well are you expecting that gate setup to work? Wouldnt mind doing the same for my car.
  14. The z31 200ZX?? Comes out with an RB20det asuming the engine bay is the same size as the Z32 there should be no issues with fitting the engine
  15. Goldgem your a little wrong there. Myself and a friend removed and refitted an engine in my old 32 GTR with out removing the gearbox. No hoist just and engine crane. GTST should be a lot easier.
  16. Interested can you please add some pics. Also how old is it?
  17. More details on the injectors please
  18. I was going to order an rb20det ecu today because the Z32 looked liked it had too many issues. What things would I have to worry about if i used the Z32 ecu? Changing over the 6 wires is easy as and dosn't bother me. Seams like the TPS issue is also sorted? What about engine temp correction I read some where the Z32 does this via fuel temp and wont add more fuel if used for the rb25. Am I then better off using the RB20 ecu and hooking up a VCT controller?
  19. This one here should do it: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?I...mp;SUBCATID=347
  20. Use an atmega processor I'll write the code for you already using one as an ecu for a 2 stroke quad bike very easily done
  21. Im just about to do this with my 33.
  22. Now for something helpfull. What AFM are you using and what injectors? Was the chip you put in setup for z32 equipment as far as the K Value? (In other words is the tune expecting a Z32 AFM to be connected and different sized injectors?)
  23. Because Nistune is better than any after market ECU within its price range(Actually quadruple the price range?) And trust me a lot of normal people chip the stock ECU
  24. Yeah a knock light is a cool feature. You know whats even cooler?? Auto retard when knock is detected i'd think id rather save my engine than blow it up and know the knock count.
  25. Any one wanna lend me some number plates? Would be keen to take one of my Banshees for a road cruise
