nistune sounds pritty good. Only problem i can ee is the lack of rb35 support as in the future i wanna put on in. Can the rb20 ecu run the rb25?

Hi, I want to learn the basics of remapping a car. I have an r32 GTST. What hardware/software do I need to buy to to remap my ecu. I really want to have a play and learn more about my car. I have a friend that is experianced in tuning some other type of cars that will give me a hand. And before you say dont do it you will blow it up,, I really dont care if i destroy the thing its a toy.

Master Cylinder replaced $385 later i am also told my ABS unit is leaking and the car isn't safe to drive untill it is replaced. Any one know where I can get one without paying $2000?

Mine didthe same thing. $160 at a Jap wrecking yard got me another AFM problem gone and fuel economy is up big time aswell

I had actually check all fluid level 2 week prior and hadn't driven the car for a week. I also hadn't noticed any fluid on my driveway. As for the burning smell I should have thought to get everything checked out but it happened that little i thought i was just imagining thing.

In the past this forum must have been full of complete idiots. Im new here. In 26 Im married I own my own home(Building atm) and see my self as quite responsable. The hand brake still works perfectly. Towing??? I hope you mean a proper tow truck as towing behine a mates car without brakes is worse that driving down the road slowly. I drove the car very slowly up the road with my wife infront of me(Id rather bump into my own car than any one elses). Hand braks and normal brakes stopped me easily. I got a call from the brake place that they need a key for the lock nuts. Hmmm I wasn;t given a key for the lock nuts when i purchased the car. oh well they are gonna cut them off and put new ones on. Missing my baby already I was hoping to finish off my lcd install tonight aswell

There is one just down the road from me. I should be ok to limp it down there to get fixed

the freeway this morning on the way to work i noticed my breaks were very sloppy. Has to stop for traffic and put the brakes on as hard as I could. I noticed the car slow the slightest bit. Ended up slapping her back to second and using the hand break. Brake Fluid is empty, I had checked this level afew weeks ago and it was fine. I had noticed a burning smell in my cabin every now and them so i am assuming i have a leak somewhere. Is it ok for me to just fill the fluid bottle up again to drive it home or do i have to do something special to it? I will take it to a brake place to get sorted just need to get it home until i have time to sort it out

Yours looks really good. I was going to make a mount and not cut up my dash but i always wanted tomodify a dash like i have done. Was alot of fun. The plastic weld is an epoxy i got from a auto shop. if it dosnt hold i will properly plastic weld it in

My dash souround wasnt perfect to begin with clips broken and scratched up so it didnt bother me cutting it up. If i want to go back to standard i will just buy a new one. The wiring in my dash was pritty dodged up so im gonna enjoy redoing the lot. The screen seams pritty good so far. wasn't a real cheap one either but if i hjave problems i will buy a nice expensive one. With a bit of paint it should look pritty good. Currently installing a carputer into my 1990 R32 GTS-T Here are some pics of my touchscreen install so far. Still need to paint it. hope fully so it this weekend. Dash cut to fit screen casing Screen casing test fited to dash Plastic Weld epoxying to keep it all together More Plastic Weld Filler to make it nice A Heap more filler After alot of sanding its now pritty much perfectly smooth. Connected the screen to the dash and test fitted it into the car. Nearly perfect needs some paint and some new clips to hold the top to the dash.

have you checked your AFM? mine did the same thing swaped out AFM and problem went away

I own a 2004 xr6 turbo they are f***n awsome car. If you do buy one make sure it is a 6 speed auto buil date late 2006 this way u get the fpv engine easy 11's

From when i had a play adjusting the duty didnt do a thing. adjusting the boost made it go up higher but i wasnt keen on playing with it until i knew exactly how much boost the stock turbo can handle. Are there any tricks to bring boost on quicker or do i just pump it all up to the desired level and adjust from there is theres any spike?

Thanks guys really imformative i no longer thing something is broken So what boost can i run it up to? any one got a guide to tuning the AVCR?

What boost is the rb20 set to as stock? i thought it was around 8psi? I dont think the turbo has been touched

Reciently purchase an r32 gtst. Has the following mods that I know of when i bought it. FMIC Pod filter CAI Apexi AVCR boosted to a tad over 11psi or 0.83 kg/cm2 been reading the avcr manual and i turned the controller off. Went for a drive and its still boosting to the same level. Turned the controller back on and upped the settings and it boosted to 13psi proving the controller is working. Would i be correct in saying that the current mods raised the boost to 11psi without needing to touch the turbo?

Mine used to cut out. replaced the afm for $120. fixed that problem. It also stoped the rev hunting from happening all the time. still idels high tho

Well actaully i dont want to spend anymore than $800 on the turbo. I am well aware that other things need to be done aswell. My injectors will have another 50rwkw of life in them. I will be also getting an ecu upgrade none of this comes under the $800 budget
