Ive tried everything cubes my car is pearl red I just cant get rid of em. The only way to do it is to hide them with polishes but it certainly doesnt last long at all.
-
No one said what it cost for that but looking at the costs off the parts on the websites id say your spot on 10,000 at least. $2000+ US for a full exhaust.

Read the ECU section in the tuning guide for what ever engine you have click the link in my sig cheers
-
Thanks guys had a look at the www.my350z.com heaps of info. The Americans certainly have a huge range of parts to choose from but are very expensive to modify for little gain. From what I can gather they have about 170rwkw as standard. After full exhaust, intake, plenum spacer mod, and ECU tune you only really gain a max of 30rwkw. It seems that the factory systems dont give much room for modification anymore which is disapointing. The supercharger and twin turbo kits certainly seem to give good gains and if you are in America there are plenty to choose from but again extreemly expensive. cheers

Hello all wondering if anyone has any information on this. As with any engine I am sure it would benefit from exhaust, intake, and ECU modifications. But does anyone who of places know who sells aftermarket cams or other upgrade packages for these cars? Seen a few turbo and supercharger kits etc for 350Z but I am more interested in the NA side of things at this stage. thanks

Saw that the other day impressive id say we will start to see more and more of these types of cars if governments allow it.

Id say you would be better off with one from slide water and oil cooled for under $1000 or better still a GCG highflow Ball Bearing. cheers
-
As craved said well worth but you dont have to. If they are too expensive for you at this stage consitor an exhaust cam gear. keep us posted on how it goes cheers

Have to agree with this comment but as long as you like it.

I used 5 star shine its bloody expensive but it lasts for ages only its the only polish thats US patented. Highly recomend this product I have some pics of my car about a year after the 5 star shine was applied. Photoshop brings the gloss out a little but you get the idea. pics of my car Looks great when its overcast but the problem I have is swirl marks I have tried everything to remove them went to the autopedia.com forum for advice used orbal buffer with different pads and polishes no luck given up on trying to remove them. I guess I will just try to fill them in going to try Zano the yanks love this shit ill see how it goes. You can get it from www.waxit.com.au heaps of good advice here too. This stuff would want to be good $695 08Swissol Mystery Concours Wax. cheers

R33 Vs 300zx Hpi Issue? About 6 To 12 Months Ago
Munna1 replied to benl1981's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
You dont need to flat change to get factory times. But you car needs to be in top nic, good tyres and a good driver. I could do mid to low 6's when mine was stock. But if I stuffed the launch it could be as high as 8's cheers -
for the R33 Age looks more modern (way better in my opinion) R33 has a upgraded ATTESSA system its a faster car around a racetrack in factory form R33 is more refined / comfortable For the R32 slightly quicker in a straight line. hardcore racer more fun to drive Have a read of the specs on my website. http://nissanskyline.6te.net cheers

How 2 Get 250kw - 300kw At The Wheels With A R33 Gts25-t
Munna1 replied to rob123456's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Have a look in the RB25DET turbo upgrade thead for turbo selection for a few ideas 2530 is to small for what you want to do. Id recomend a HKS GTPROS turbo kit comes with everything needed and bolts onto the stock manifold, it will be good for arround 270rwkw with room for a little more. At levels above 270rwkw you may run into reliability problems if you drive the car hard, plus the you will need a large turbo whcih means more lag. For 300rwkw+ a rebuilt engine with a 3 litre bottom end would be a good option the extra capacity will give you less lag and power can be made lower in the rev range which means less stress on valve train parts. If you go the HKS PRO-S route you will need the parts others have already stated Injectors - S15 JDM manual type, nismo 550cc or 740cc Fuel Pump - new bosche pump 040 or 044, tomei or nismo direct fit Air Flow meter - Z32 airflow meter will be plenty big enough ECU - Power FC with Hand Controller and boost controller option Clutch -Exeedy seem to be a popular choice Cams optional but recomended -Tomei pon cams Intercooler - might want to go for a JDM type, not sure how the cheap hybrid and hybrid copy coolers will go at this power level. Exhaust - 3 to 3.5 inch exhaust from turbo back with highflow cat (the bigger the better) As for pricing it can vary shop around www.nengun.com has good prices for your cams, turbos, ECU and intercoolers. Search the for sale section on this forum heaps of specail offers for exhausts, intercoolers, etc. If you shop arround you may be able to get away with spending less than $10,000 cheers -
you have a few options http://nissanskyline.6te.net/tuning_GTT.htm read the boost increase section cheers

Need Some Input On Hks 25/30 Turbo In Rb25
Munna1 replied to Duy's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
What engine do you have? 2530 is a good match for a RB20 as is a RB25 turbo. For a RB25 though a 2535 is a better match, Plenty have taken the 2530 route with a rb25 and had good results up to around 230rwkw, 2535 would net you around the 250rwkw mark. For a RB25 you should also consitor the GCG highflow (currently in groupbuy section), HKS GTRS, or HKS PROS best prices I have seen on HKS units are at www.nengun.com. opps sorry! just read the title you have a RB25. -
They did get 5.1 seconds out of the VTII GTS from memory pretty darn quick. The base model is said to weigh 100kg's more than the previus model. So I recon the HSV version would not be much under 2 tonne bloody heavy for a sports car.
-
Keep it on for sure. I would like to see how it would look with a chrome badge
-
Just checked out the new HSV range at their website. I like it execpt for the rear tail lights to small or something, just dont look right to me. Only an extra 10kw was added taking peak power to 307kw, the GTS doesnt have any more power than the clubsport which is disapointing I thought it should have at least an extra 50kw or so. its suspention sounds impressive magnetic ride control (MRC) it offers different modes of handling/comfort. Anyway what do you all recon? cheers HSV Website
