  1. Good result mate peak power is very impressive, Id like to know what the go is with the torque spike to Dale. Boost starts at 2000 rpm 12psi by 3750 then slowly creeps to 13.7 at 4750 does this seem right for a GTRS people.
  2. Is the turbo a gcg highflow?, ball bearing? has it had the 100,000 km service?
  3. Very interesting, by the sounds of it the only real advantage of a ball bearing turbo is responce.
  4. The bigger the better mate may as well go for the 3.5. cheers
  5. You can get your AFR's checked on a dyno then decide weather to buy a aftermarket ECU. As I explain in my tuning guides after these mods your car will probably be running rich plenty more power can be had with a aftermarket ECU or SAFC cheers
  6. If it were me id go for the 2530 good for 220rwkw or so with supporting mods cheers
  7. Rated at the same HP mate should be no different to having a R33 highflow. cheers
  8. Basically SAFC is fine if you have the stock turbo. If you are using one with an aftermarket turbo to many comprimise need to be made, it may work but you will be getting far from the best out of your setup
  9. The black roof if different I like it though. Its going to be one tuff r33
  10. Read the articles in the latest wheels magazine and I must say its certainly a fantasic looking car. Extra 100kg over the old model is a worry they were already heavy enough. Have driven the vz model with the new v6 and its pretty un-impressive a improvement over the old v6 but I expected more. Cant wait to test drive the car and to expect the build quality. I must say the build quality in the vz is much better than that of the BA easpecially the interior but still nothing compared to a japanese or europeon car.
  11. RB30DET page has been added cheers
  12. for stock injectors and ECU that result sounds extreemly high. As long as the AFR's are fine.
  13. Stealth wing or put your old wing back on. I like your old wing anyway. cheers
  14. looking good so far I like the vent in the front gaurd
  15. Many have run 12psi with no problems but some have had failures on less boost than this. Its debatable but 10psi is about the safest max, you will only gain marginal power going from 10psi to 12psi anyway 5-10rwkw, as the turbo is nearing the end of its efficency. cheers
  16. Your not really going to gain a lot be doing this before the other mods anyway. The turbo will have to work harder to produce boost so there is more chance of turbo failure than if the exhaust and intercooler where installed. It probably is safe but if it were me id wieght. I know where you might be able to get a GTT intercooler PM me if you are interested. cheers
  17. Fits with very minor mods, cant remember exactly what they are you may need to do a search I know it has been covered on here before.
  18. well said xRHETTx
  19. The R34 turbo has a slightly larger exhaust housing and yes it will bolt up to your RB20 just like a r33 turbo. You can run a max of 14psi with this turbo as your engine is smaller the turbo doesnt have to work as hard to produce boost.
  20. When you put it that way I guess its probably worth upgrading better to be safe than sorry. cheers
  21. Wont let me post my pics they must be to big. Heaps of pics of my car here though 3 pages. Nissan skyline pictures
  22. The first one is certainly your best choice out of the two displayed. The separation of the pipes in the second one is not long enough this will cause too much turbulence where the pipes meet. Split dumps are good but there needs to be at least 30cm of separation before the pipes join. The BATMBL split dump/front pipe would be a better option than the two displayed. Cheers
  23. AFR's where fine on the last dyno tune they actually had to take a lot of fuel out up top so I guess it will be fine. thanks
  24. Dezz is on the money here. If you plan to keep the stock turbo the R34 intercooler is your best option for 3 resons - price - ease of installation - thottle responce If you plan to upgrade your turbo down the track you may wont to go for something bigger
