Claims that with their Monster Bar & Plate Cooler kit for a skyline, have achieved a typical Gain: 25-30 rear wheel kilo watt (RWKW) with no other mods!
Mate I have this intercooler and it did make a big power difference at the same boost especially after the SAFC2 was retuned
Poor Danny tried his heart out but couldnt land a punch mundine was just to quick but a great effort by green you kept punching hard right to the end. Damn I hate mundine
- Second hand R34 GTT intercooler or $400 one in group buy section
- Forget ebc get a r32 gtst actuator and run 10psi or if you cant find one the $22 boost controller do a good enough job at this level of modification search on these forums for more info
- power FC and tune
- highflow cat and open belmouth dump if you dont have enough money left go the split dump all can be found on these forums
Reliablity wont be any be an issue if you tune your car regulary with good oils ect.
cheers
Thoses threads still dont clear things up for me. Anyone using highflow injectors with a power fc if so what cc and how long have you been running them for.
cheers
You dont need to buy a safc you would be far better off getting your stock ECU re-tuned as safc will only change your AFR's. Where as a retune will change your AFR's, timing ect. If your in Victoria I know Dr drift does ECU re-tunes on r32's
cheers
As above do a search heaps of info on this topic also have a look at the website in my sig it contains a R33 GTS25T tuning guide and should answer your questions.
cheers
Wet conditions are unpredible mate especally if it has not rained in a while all the oil and greese comes to the surface making it very slippery. I always take it very easy arround town in the wet conditions.
cheers
They do make a difference especialy on hot days just make sure you have your pod partitioned off from the rest of the engine bay or else you are probably wasting your time
cheers
Yes, all the info is readily available in SAU because like I said this is where I learnt most of what I know. I thought a website with some summarized information and guides might make it easier for people new to the scene. Sometimes its hard to know what you are looking for when it comes to searching. I just hope it can help and complement The Skylines Australia website.
cheers
Very nice car mate I still remember the first one I test drove they are a fantastic car. Have a look at the R33 GTS25T engine tuning guide on the website in my sig mate should be a good start.
I have managed a 13.6@105 MPH and that was on a 30 degree day with a crappy 2.39 second 60 foot time. With better tyres, a cooler day, and more experince I think high 12's would not be out of the question
My mods are in my sig
cheers
Hello everyone I am attempting to create a new website to compliment the things I have learnt from these forums and from my experinces to help others new to the world of skylines. The site will eventually contain tuning guides and specs on all the popular Skyline models. Its a bit plain at the moment but I hope to having looking good in the future.
I am no machanic and many of you have far more knowledge about this topic than me. I have completed the first 3 tuning guides to the best of my ability and would like your opinions. If there is anything you think I should add or find incorrect please let me know.
I hope people can find this helpful. The link to site is in my sig
Thanks
