  1. Use the car wash at night when there is no one about take your bucket sponge and chomos. Dont ever use the foaming brush!!
  2. I argee with you thorpe84 looks good exept for the front grill and the rear looks very mazda Rx8ish.
  3. Looks great might, I better start saving might be able to get one in about 2015.
  4. Q45 will allow for more flow mate
  5. I agree with SK, ECU retune is the go with a R32. But looks like the Link ECU has some good extra functions if you need em, can you tune it with a AFM? A car with a AFM will give you a more precise tune than one with a map sensor, better throttle response etc. cheers
  6. My rule of thumb for intercoolers on a R33 GTST are. If you plan to keep the stock turbo (no high flowing etc.) The R34 GTT cooler is a good choice as its efficient for 200rwkw, cheep, easy to install, and you don’t sacrifice any throttle response. This is not to say you wont benefit slightly from a larger cooler at this power level but the trade of is throttle response. Fact is though I didn’t find the response much different between the stocker and my hybrid super monster but many other people have noted a difference. I believe the reason people sometimes find that the car is slower after the bigger intercooler install is the fact that it runs extra rich the ecu sees way more air and richens the mixtures. Get your AFR's sorted then you will notice a huge difference. The intercooler plus tune made a huge difference to my car. Sure people have run 12's using the stock cooler, but what tires where they using, what suspension setup did they have, how good was the driver, what were the track conditions, there is much more to drag racing than power. To do this properly get a car, same driver, suspention, tires, track conditions, stock cooler with engine management tuned to suit extra boost, exhaust etc. have 5 runs take the average time. Keeping everything the same exept for a upgraded cooler and a ECU tune to suit the extra air flow. 5 runs take the average time. Ill bet my bottom dollar the car with the upgraded cooler will be signifitly quicker. cheers
  7. Whats your power goal? and how much do you want to spend? For 250-300rwkw, keep the RB25, do some internal work for anything over 280rwkw (rough rule of thumb). 250 - 270 is a good figure to aim for with a 25 as you can achieve that power with little more lag than stock, and keep the internals stock. Any more than this and your up for some big dollars If you want morepower and little lag go for a RB30DET exelent base for 300 - 400rwkw less stuffing around than a RB26 and less lag. my 2 cents cheers
  8. Lot of mucking around to make that fit, turbo sits on the wrong side to start with, and you dont want a stinking toyota motor in a nissan lol! cheers
  9. If you plan on keeping the stock turbo the SAFC will be all thats needed. Your tune would benifit more from a SITC but its not really criticle at this point. I have the usual mods with SAFC and the cars great and has 195rwkw (manual)
  10. 230rwkw, work on your suspention, tyres and driving you should be able to get mid 12's once everthing is sorted, do this before you go for more power.
  11. I know what you mean any more than about 11psi in mine and I seem to loose top end, mid range increases but I defently loose top end. 10-12 psi max for dayly driving if you plan a mountain run or a track day 10psi is the max id go. My R33 made 195.6rwkw at 10psi, dyno dynamatics, shootout mode at ICE performance. Similar mods but I have SAFC instead of power FC cheers
  12. Nothing wrong with the neo safc it just really isnt much better than the safc2 and you will find that these are cheeper. The NEO has a few more rpm tuning points and thats about it I think. cheers
  13. How mate the site in me sig may help you out a bit to cheers
  14. Have to agree with this much cheeper than the NEO, go something like a gcg highflow for the turbo and add some tomei poncams. As a base the NEO is not much better really
  15. 1.9 is fantastic with those tyres bring on the 12's cheers
  16. I bet your car is running extra rich with those mods get a SAFC or Power FC
  17. Have a look at the website in by sig to see rear wheel power with certain mods cheers
  18. Great time mate, my best is a 13.6@105, a 12 would be nice. What was your 60ft time? 2.2 was my best. what other mods do you have for that power? SAFC? exhaust cam gear?
  19. Mines a lot lower than stock looking under the car the middle muffer is the lowest point but not by much, I dont have any srapping issues.
  20. Probably doesnt help but I have a super drager on my R33 great sounding exhaust without been to loud very happy with it. second row of pics (click for larger image) http://nissanskyline.6te.net/GTS25T_Project_1.htm
  21. 33's have a 4.11 and rev at 2700 at 100km, another overdrive gear to put the revs back to 2000 would be great. I think 4.11 is perfect for the R33 in terms of performance but its a bit anoying on how how they rev at 100 ks. Unless I really drove like a nanna on the highway id never get 10L/100kms.
  22. I had one of those to well an 89 actually, extractors, twin cat exhaust system, gold 98 chip, she farking loved it too, seemed impossible to kill and surprisingly quick after the mods (well for what it was). I wouldnt even think about flat changing in the skyline
  23. If you go for a highflow turbo you should get a Power FC, Z32 AFM, and injectors. Your tune will be greatly compromised if you don’t.
