  12. 500hp at the wheels and full boost by 3500rpm are you sure? Is that possible with such a big turbo? My stock turbo doesnt make full boost until 3000rpm.
  13. Thanks mate by the sounds of it some people arnt installing the pump low enough into the tank. I will be sure to go as low as possible cheers
  14. Im about 80% sure the GTR exhaust will fit but you would be better of bitting the bullet as you said and going for a 3" system.
  15. Hi all I have just purcahsed a boshe 040 fuel pump and was doing a search for more info installation etc. Someone said that because of the short pickup you can have surging problems when the tank is near empty or cornering. Has anyone had this problem? Is this pump a good upgrade?
  16. Cams will give you more lift mate which is something a cam gear cant do. good luck
  17. Looks like I will go for 245's thanks everyone
  18. My car weighed 1380kg on a weigh bridge with just under 1/2 a tank of fuel. cheers
  19. A 250 - 270rwkw would not be far behind a 320rwkw commodore mate, commodores are a lot heavier. Look into the HKS PRO-S and a set of poncams www.nengun.com has competive prices. cheers
  20. Start car (make sure you car is dead cold), put it in second engauge clutch, hold accelerator flat for at least 3 minuets (bouncing off rev limiter) then drop clutch. Should be real good for your car. lol
  21. Ok to confirm short answer yes but it would cause the car to handle badly? Would it help with straight line grip over 235's?
  22. RIP BROCKY what a shame
  23. As the topic states 17X8 inch wheels want to fit 255's to the rear thanks
  24. Just thought id note I have wond the boost up to 13-14psi for short boosts on a couple of occasions just for interest and if anything the car was seemed slower. cheers
  25. Its the heat that kills the turbo mate and boost for extented periods generates heat so for short burts you could probably get away with 14psi. On a tack day mind you people have seen these turbos let go at 10psi. After 10-12psi the turbo is running out of effecincy you may gain an extra 5-10 rwkw but is that little extra power worth risking the turbo for? I think not personally, I run 10.5psi max and dont plan to run any more boost than this. cheers
