well i had no other choice so this is what happened. i went there and checked it out. looked pretty good, the piping from the throttle body that bends to the front was missing. but he said he would replace it but neway he started it up infront of me without the afm attached, i though ok well if it works then start it up so he did and it sounds perfect but i went to the rear and was blowing some smoke when rev'd but i thought thats cause its just started up and because it doesnt have a afm attacked so it cant match the air to the fuel, "Does that sound correct?" i bought it from him for $2000 for rb25det engine + loom. i just hope that all the parts i need for the conversion is in there... he said i dont get the cooler but i dont care i have a fmic here. he said he will deliver it to me tomorrow. there was some oily gunk around the rocker covers but i thought thats just cause they were not on tight enough or it needs a new seal? -
Im buying a rb25det motor and loom today and i only have $2000 justjap were doing it for me but the shipment doesnt come till next month basically everywhere else doesnt wanna match that so i thought i would ring these blokes and nothing against them but they sounded a bit bodgey over the phone and when i said to a highly known import wrecker in NSW do u know anyone else who will do it, he said U can ask our mates over at greenacre....! and i said are they bodgey he said no comment... maybe he just wants my sale or maybe he thinks they are bodgey so has anyone delt with these guys before.. the engine will be modified straight away but stock internals will be left in it so i just dont wanna buy a piece of sh!t that will do a piston or ring ect within a year or two. PLEASE REPLY ASAP when i go check it out he said he will start it for me!!! ANY questions i should ask about it or anything i should look/listen for to know if its damaged

i found this in the dyno page: R33 series 2 GTS25t (Standard Internals) Garrett GT30R (0.63 exhaust housing) (real gt30r - 6 blade, fluted inlet) Tial 38mm external wastegate Stock Manifold, w/ spacer Nismo 740cc injectors Walbro Fuel Pump Sard FPR Hybrid Monster FMIC Greddy Profec B Spec II EBC Apexi Power FC Standard Ignition Coils Z32 AFM K&N air filter 3.5" turbo back exhaust w/hi flow cat 274.1 kW @ 16psi Full boost at 3800rpm. Initially tuned by Ken @ Incar Motorsports, then finely tuned by Ben @ UAS (he rocks). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ and i thought hey i have basically everything there except for the external wastegate, and i dont think ide need that would i? so i could prob meet that same power rating im guessing, basically ide have my turbo set to low for everyday driving and how ever much psi he can tweak the turbo and engine to whilest being safe without damaging anything for the high boost setting. so right now i have a exedy heavyduty sports tuff clutch and i thought yeah stuffit ill just put that back in since my mate has 206kw at all 4 wheels on his rexy with the same clutch. but now im thinking it might give way, i enjoy driving in this clutch cause i can ride it if needed and its a bit heavy so i can feel the clutch at my feet, could u guys now post up what clutch would support the 300rwkw range, that isnt to annoying to drive but can take a beating when needed. "that isnt to pricey if possible BUT if i need to spend for it i guess ide drive the car with the exedy on low boost untill i could afford it then pull the box out again" -

i pretty much have the perfect information on injectors atm in my post just below yours and the afm is covered heaps here already, get a z32 afm. and for how much boost, lol thats covered alot to.. ive learnt to use the search bar since my first post otherwise u look like a complete tool. -

yeah i was just checking out the nismo injectors and i thought why not, i "was" gonna pay $1299 for 550cc sard @ justjap / then found them for $750 "was getting them tomorrow" but now im gonna get the nismo injectors u guys convinced me and im glad, i found them on sliding performance website. 6 x NISMO 555cc Injectors Nissan RB25DET $859.00 Delivered 6 x NISMO 740cc Injectors Nissan RB25DET $869.00 Delivered so now my last question to ask about injectors is which 1 of these 2 should i get lol? im getting the boys over @ UAS seven hills to tune my car and PFC as im only 3 minutes from there workshop. someone said the only difference in the 2 is its harder to tune the cars idle?!?! ( and obviously the bigger they are the more they can put through ) Any others? my mods are up there and i will probably be forging internals and turbo upgrade in years to come. -

and also i see in the Rb25 Turbo Upgrade, All Dyno Results forum, most rb25det setups run Nismo 555cc injectors why is this? if u just go with sard 550cc injectors is this just as good of a job as the nismo ones? and if not can u explain why the nismo is better then sard and how u rate sard injectors. -

wow these deatschwerks injectors are only $479 for 550cc injectors, i was gonna pay $750 for sard 550cc... Does anyone rate these injectors? cause ide hate to buy the cheap ones and find out they might block up, flow different, or something go wrong. and u think these deatschwerks 550cc injectors should see me to 350rwkw comfortably? -

Here is my list of things going in on monday: Rb25det engine + loom Apexi Pfc w/Hc Turbosmart Dual Boost Controller JustJap FMIC Sard FPR Bosch 040 Fuel pump Z32 AFM w/Adapter 3" stainless Turbo back exhaust system "xforce" Exedy Hd sports tuff Clutch Sard 550cc Or 850cc injectors Pod air filter Nissan RB front housing with Garret GT30 front wheel and Ar63 rear Ball bearing turbo "Turbo bought from mate he said its around 500hp turbo?" So i was thinking/hoping this setup would see me around 240rwkw, i hope for more but atleast 240rwkw. front everyone else's view, "What do u think my car will be pushing on the dyno?" But for the original question 850cc injectors would be no different then 550cc if i just get them?!?!?! cause why not go bigger if its like $20 difference?!?!?! as i will like to push my car alot further in time to come! -
"Yes is used search tab - Sorry if someone else can find it though cause i did look in over 5 post's" ok here is the deal. i was going to get the Sard 550cc but i thought ide go get 850cc so i know i have the room to upgrade if needed, im aiming for around 230rwkw - 260rwkw for now. But next year ide probably try and go further. so the question is, If im running around 230 - 240rwkw and i have 850cc injectors is there any difference to if i was using the 550cc? and if i upgrade my stock rb25det injectors to the sard 850cc are they a straight fit e.g. plugs, how they sit/fit. do i need to buy something else for the injectors to fit? do rb25det injectors sell for anything? cause ill be getting rid of the stock injectors/turbo/manifold and any other stuff that comes with the rb25det i wont need. Oh and i thought i guess ill add this question in here aswell, What clutch should i get for around that power. i have a Exedy Hd Sports Tuff at the moment thats been in my N/a r33 for 1.5 years i was thinking of leaving it in and seeing how it would stand... i like the feeling of this clutch its a bit heavy and i can ride it if needed. Any cheapish clutch suggestions OR If this clutch does go would a brand new exedy Hd sports tuff do that job? Hey guys i found a r33 3x gauge holder on dash mould on ebay about 4months ago and they had plenty, but now i want the stupid thing i cant find them on ebay or googling!!!! if someone knows where i can find this i would be really greatful. here is the only pics i could find on google.

Oh and just so u know how much power i was putting out with just 2.5" catback and a pod filter, "i had injector problems thats why i had it dyno'd" and i got a power rating of 110rwkw with the blocked injectors, so i was happy with that. -

here is my input, Just put a decent filter Pod/Panel and just go a cat back. dont waste your time/money as i have a r33 s1 gts and thats all i have, yeah its no race car but hey thats what u get for being on your P's these days. just stick it out and save for a turbo conversion OR sell and get a turbo car. " catback with pod still beats most 6's and 4 " Here is what i have done since you cant do power mods. i got my stock r33 and added what i could eg, bodykit inc - Trust front bar / Vs side skirts / Vs rear bar / Carbon fibre bonnet. 18" chrome wheels, Super low king springs, Exedy racing clutch, 2.5" cat back exhaust. stereo, painted my brakes, got some axs seat covers, painted plastic interior parts. basically anything i could to keep me satisfied. BUT now... come december 8th im off my P's and i already got my shopping list together, DONT bother upgrading your n/a engine to turbo "been there done that" its so much easier to swap and drop and u know it will run properly! u just go get your rb25det motor from an auto wreckers and put that in with a wiring loom and ecu. Anyways here is what im doing now for my conversion, - $1800 Rb25det Engine + loom - $1300 Apexi Pfc w/Hc - $130 Turbosmart Dual Boost Controller - $399 JustJap FMIC - $110 Sard FPR - $245 Bosch 040 Fuel pump - $350 Z32 AFM w/Adapter - $1174 Varex adjustable cannon - 3" piping - 3" highflow cat - $633 GFB Deceptor Pro Bov - $600 Dyno Tune Total = $6471 ( ide like to upgrade injectors but will do when i get my plenum and fuel rail done / when i save ) Brakes! yes u should upgrade your 4stud to 5stud and get turbo brakes to now stop this powerful build of RB, Correct me if im wrong, but i think u can just upgrade your rotors and brakes on the 4stud which would be cheaper and it will still do a great job of slowing your new built RB down. YES! some will say what a waste of money sell it and get a turbo model! I Think! just save your money for the next 3yrs on your P's and u will have the turbo car u want. "I dont know if anyone feels the same but i dont wanna see someone else driving around in the car i built" so as i said i built up my looks/exterior of the car how i like it while i was stuck on my P's, and since i was stuck for 3yrs i saved up money and now i will have the performance aswell. -

lol i agree, i dont think its that hard just to input your pwr with a time... and to answer the other guys question i know there is more to drag racing then power, its common sense. all i wanted to know what wat power people had when they ran there times and no 1 can provide, common ppls o.0 -
Hi guys ive tried searching, Drag times but i found nothing i wanted to know for an "R33 Gtst" (post other cars if u want) I was wondering if people could post up thier 1/4 mile times and how much power (rwkw) they had at the time. doesnt have to be exact i just want a rough estimate of what power should get u into what time bracket. from around maybe 9s - 14s, as my uncle has built a XB falcon v8 that runs 11.6 and he said ill never beat him so basically i just want to know what lyes ahead Cheers Peoples

Ok so just a fuel pump or a fuel regulator aswell? And what pump/regulator would u recommend if later I wanted to up the power some more. If I buy both of these do u think the injectors could last if I tried for over 220? -
I'm starting to get all my parts together for my conversion, so far this is what I'm getting / already have. Rb25det engine, using a r32 gtst gearbox as I already have it. (yes I know they are weaker) Z32 afm apexi PFC 3" turbo back exhaust Justjap fmic turbosmart dual boost controller pod filter I bought a turbo from my mate, Nissan front housing with Garret gt30 front comp wheel with a ar63 rear (hope that sounds right as I got it ages ago) I'm hoping for around 220rwkw after the dyno tune, "what's your thoughts?" do u think I will need to upgrade the stock injectors to achieve this? And is there anything else u think I should get before the dyno? (would cam gears get me anything?)

Yeah, its all good now i got 1 from adeliade for $1300 pfc w/hc delivered so yeah i dont need to worry anymore

your site tell me this: Second Generation is ###-XXXX Where ### is the batch build number, so 000 or 010 or 020 (ie batch build 010) XXXX is the unique item # -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- so in your opinion does that part number i showed u sound like the right thing? -

ok thanks mate, do u know where i could find the differences between the to? and do u know somewhere i can find all the ecr33 power fc parts numbers, cause im about to pay for 1 and i just want to make sure before i go ahead its the right 1, the sticker reads " PFC ECR33 010- 1058" this would work on a rb25det engine for an r33 wouldnt it? -
My car is N/a at the moment and im doing a full conversion shortly, im buying/sorting everything out now. what im doing is getting a rb25det engine putting into the gts r33, buying some mods and a power fc... ill be taking by car to unique auto sports for a dyno tune but i wanted to know do i have to change my wiring loom to the gtst setup before they install the power fc? or do they add there own wiring harness to my N/a loom?

yeah i didnt think so, but he said on any brand new apexi product u get your manufacturers warrenty so it is apexi who would be giving the warrenty or am i missing something here? cause i was just about to buy it since i thought ill get a brand new 1 from overseas with or without warrenty ( cause its new ) for $1300 delivered or get a second hand 1 from joe blow in aus for $1300 with no warrenty aswell? what do u think cause im tossing up which 1 to do... ive asked a few friends and its pretty much even but you guys on here would have more experience then them so please give me your thoughts on what to do

yeah fair enough, ive tried looking on this forum everynight for the past 2 weeks now and i can find 1 that hasnt already been sold... i dont need the commander... only the pfc but if 1 comes along with both ide still take it. would u buy it from overseas though cause it is new? if i got it from someone on here i wouldnt get any warrenty at all, so as u said they dont brake so wouldnt it be fine to buy it from him and not worry about the warrenty? but if someone knows somebody who is selling one could u please pm me otherwise im going to have to buy from this overseas dude... i just dont wanna get left with some peice of poop
