And you plan on getting your hands on one of these how?, I remember Martin talking about these and they are next to impossible to find as no one will sell em and there are not that many. Secondly and most importantly why would u get a Nur spec GTR and modify it?..... great way to destroy the authenticity of the last ever RB26 GTR... why not get a normal GTR (if there is such a thing) and modify that.

SAU Anzac Cruise - Monday 26th of April 2004 (Day Cruise)
Rob replied to CheekyR32's topic in South Australia
God damn working , hate working public holidays!! -
Was talking to a guy at work today told me there was an R34 GTR (silver) at carsales.com.au for about 135k, he saw the add a week or so ago. He told me that a few days ago a mate of his saw a silver R34 GTR get a bit sideways in the rain and sideswipe 3 parked cars. The carsales.com.au add has now been removed from the site..... Anyone know anything about this??

Hope everyone had a great Easter, Anyway going past Sinergy this morning on the way to workand noticed that the whole yard is now empty, and looks like the office has been vacated to. I know last week they only had a handful of cars aswell. Looks like another victim of the new RAWS.

It's just so sad that Police have nothing better to do with their time than to defect cars LOL Just shows how bored they must be. I know a ex mate who got into the cops , he is a total wanker. I said to him "why would you want defect someone" , his reply..... "to piss them off" .... how lame, that was his only reason. I know I am beating my head against a wall here, but if any SAPOL do read the forum then how about you wake up to yourself, don't you realise you are just alienating yourself from the community??... I just dont get it. My respect for the police diminishes daily nowdays. The funniest thing is do they really think they are doing the community a service by defecting someone for tinted windows or no tyre placid? All I can do is shake my head ..... sad , very sad.

Major Skyline accident on Sturt Road ~11.30pm Friday night, 12/03/04.
Rob replied to P1E's topic in South Australia
People are so stupid, its not the god damn car that shouldn't be in the country , its the ****ing driver that shouldn't be driving/owning the car!!!!...when will SAPOL ever learn this simple rule?!?!?! -------------------------- Anyway to be honest I hope those who were driving are ****ed up, I hope any passengers are all ok , and I hope the 3rd car involved is ok aswell. I have no sympathy for dickheads who feel like doing insane excessive speeds in a metro/built up aread... pure stupidity IMO. I bet everyone would think twice about doing things like this if they had to go and face the innocent victims family and tell them that there life has now been turned upside down and they have lost a family member because some dickhead smashed into them at 200+ km/hr. Anyway rant over. Rob. -

This isn't confirmed yet...but... One of Japan's most reliable car magazines, Holiday Auto, is reporting that Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn will make a significant announcement concerning the next generation GT-R at Nissan's Tokyo Show press briefing on Oct 22. The car will not appear, but critical information will be revealed. NEXT GT-R REVEALED According to the report, Ghosn will outlay a launch schedule for the new GT-R supercar with an unveiling set for the September 2005 Frankfurt show. The car will then appear again at Tokyo and then at Detroit before Nissan reveals the final production version at Geneva in 2006. The report also confirms that the next GT-R will be powered by a specially developed 3.2 litre V6 with a new electrically-assisted twin turbo setup generating in excess of 480 hp (350kW) placing it directly in Porsche 911 turbo territory. Sitting on an aluminium space frame, the GT-R will employ a steel cabin unit blending light-weight materials with high rigidity strength. The hydraulic centre differential used in the the outgoing R-34 will be swapped for an all-new magnetic clutch configuration with a choice of 6-speed Getrag manual or an 8-speed CVT inherited and upgraded from the current V-35 Skyline GT-8. A revised Atessa ETS 4WD system will also be incorporated while the GT-R will sit on 245/40R19 rubber. The new model will also employ 6-pot Brembos on the front and 2-pots on the rear. But while we can reveal these details today, the final styling of the GT-R has not yet been signed off, hence the absence of it from this year's Tokyo show. Nissan know they must keep price down, and several commentators including the Holiday Auto report suggest a price under 8 million yen.

Would be great to find out where they come from. I think they go well with the Veilside kit, custom colour and fat rims.

I actually like the look of this... different. http://www.c-red.com.au/gallery/tas2004-02.../100_2025.shtml

I sold my car through Motor City. It sounds very expensive for a 200sx , but then again what you all forget is the car would be on consignment so the owner would have set a price he wants for it.. and then Motor City being a business and like business is in it to make money. So they would prob be out to make 2k or so (rent, power, & wages dont come free)... plus all the time they spend trying to sell it for the owner plus factor in ppl will bargain the car down. I gather you are talking about an S14 200sx , so if that is the case it would more than likely be a local delivery (they were sold here so can't see how u can import, and if you could it wouldn't have been many). So that would mean that the custom job would have been done in Oz , and well from the other thread in the SA section we know how much this can cost.. and then add the exhaust (atleast 1.5k) and intercooler (prob 2k installed). Suddenly it all adds $$ onto the car. But yeah I would not pay 31k for one of those either, but I can see the car being worth high 20's without a prob.
