well dude i can tell you one thing, a GTR is no VTEC bullshit. take it to the 8000rpm and dump the clutch, the rpm wil go down a bit but thats normal be carefull not to hit the revlimmeter and let the RB 26 do its thing.
-
well i can say one thing, some like there things is small packages and some like it in big. but what they dont know is that the small packages carry one of the most durable engines in the world. the bugatti is overresearched, overengineerd, to much to play with, for example put a 800-900 HP GTR with all supporting circuit modification nex to a bugati veyron around a lap of say silverstone UK. id be a 100 % cetrain that the bugatti would shit in its pants kepping up. the car is as wide as some of the roads in my country, being a mechanical engineer myself i realy dont like that car, give me my self built 600HP car anyday, di dont need a factory telling me that i should pay $1 M for it.

well i can say only one thing. dollar for dollar id go the RB 26 way. that engine has prooven its self. it is world renowed for its strength, ease of tune. that engine is just the monster of an engine. when i started workin and i went on vacation to europe i could have bought a second hand ferrari 575M fairly cheap ($100K) but still i choose my R33 skyline above its. als for the RB 20 and RB25, the rb 20 will be way to laggy on low reve if using a big turbo, the Rb 25 (i dont have much experience with that RB 25) could also be a monster of a engine. but still id go the GTR RB 26 way

External Wastegate Possible On Low Mount Manifold?
Faid replied to SLYLNE's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
it is possible without a doubt, but i think youd have to have a special manifold casted or made up to do so. why wouldnt it be possible, the only way to go here is custom, from your car ( i thaught i read that you have a R33 GTST) id take the example of the GTR 700, which is rubnning a low mount twin turbo setup with external gates, so i think a custom manifold would so the job, i dont know what the price is of these custom setups over there, but i can have em made at my job. ( i litteray live on the other side of the world assuming you live in australia. make sure they use SUS 304 stainless steel and they have to MIG weld it, and oh yea for better resuts the individual header pipes need to be uniform in thickness and the need to be as smooth as possible on the inside -
I am working for alcoa, athe alumina company. Think they are active in australia too, i aj working for a sub company of them SURALCO (suriname aluminium company). there will be pics after the build is finished, be putting them on my website wich is currently under construction. the team of guys that work on my car only have the time to do so when we are not repairing excavators, haulpacks mining draglines and all sort of heavy equipment and over here we sometimes work for nearly 24 straight hours. Acording to the company every second that one of there machines is out of order they lose money ( i dont blame them). the fuel over here is shitty 89ron, but the suralco brings the fuel for their employees independantly and that is shell optimax (think its about 98RON correct me if i am wrong). when i bought my car i got it with a full tank of shitty gas, it wasnt unil a coworker of mine told me to drain the fuel out of the system and put in the optimax that i noticed the difference, the car drove like a dream. and o yea the beast engine is prepped and ready to go into the bay. tomorrow will bge double cheking everything before dropping it in and getting to work directly on the new piping.

ok i got my head back from california today. they put the Tomei poncams in with IN and Ex 260 duration and a 9.5mm lift. the head was ported and polished. the whole valvetrain was renewed, new lifters, valvesprings. the seats were regrinded titanium ratainers, new valves (manley Gen B). the engine will be done tomorrow, today they were souble checkking clearances and if every bolt os torqued down properly. And R31 nismoid my cranckshaft was prepped by the lead mechanic at my job ( i work for the alcoa and i am a mechanical engineer myself, so i have acces to a variety of machinery to prep a engine including a very cool 5 axis CNC bench) it was balanced recoated. but i left that job to my crew. they are equally exited about this project as i am, so they are prepping my engine to their best ability. tomorrow thell assemble my engine completly incuding all my wiring and i hope that the day after tomorrow we will be able o hang the engine. as for the tuning of the pfc my nephew who is a certified APEXi tuner will be on vacation drom the states next week so hell be tuning my PFC for his vacation project. the moment the engine goes in well begin to manufacture the exhaust and the custom intercooler piping. i have bought a HKS drag gasket set with a 1.6mm headgasket. any idea on what boost i should be running with my T04Z to achive 450AWkW. and any idea on what figures i might be clockin (400m time est.) and are th twin Z32 AFM enough to support that power. oh yea one more important question can i drive my car on a daily basis?? fuel economy is no problem (one of the perks of the job FREE FUEL for transport to the job)

well i am from a tiny country named suriname. we are in south amrica right above brazil. but why would i stick with the stock BOV, why not go aftermarket. are the motec units self tuning r do they ned to be tuned on a dyno with very experienced tuners. and no i cant move outta my country cuz i like it here. we have tropical weather all year, dont get storms no natural disasters ( exept the politics here).

Ok boys my R33 GTR is ready for its conversion. its going from a ugly whore to a victoria secrets model (engine wise). but in order to do that i need answering to a few questions. I have a power FC, a Blitz exhaust (100mm piping with 115mm tip catback though) but in my country there is no ned for cats cuz no one realy cares. the whole f**king country is green. the rest of the pipe i will have fabricated locally. further list of mods. HKS T04Z turbocharger, TIG welded custom header with 50mm external wastegate, steel braided hoses allround (fron the fuelsystem to the oil drain/supply lines. HKS SS racegate 50mm with custom screamer. bosch 044 (thanks for the post on the DIY forum for the tutorial) SARD 700cc injectors. Nismo twin plate clutch. Wiseco 87m forged pistons, pauter ronds (stock replica) , all new nismo bearings, APEXI oilcooler kit and relocartor. Blitz (HUGE) intercooler with custom piping. twin HKS blow off valves. Apexi AVCR boost controler. Ok boys here come the questions: 1. what type of AFM should i use as i am going out of my mind. should it be twin Z32 cuz i have acces to them or should i searh for a Q45 one. and does someone know how to setup the PFC for bigger AFM's 2. to what extent will my cranckshaft hold up ( horsepower figures) 3. what camshafts should i use. Are there any head jobs such as porting etc. do any changes need to be made to my valvetraing (new lifters, valvesprings that sort of shit) 4. are 2 blow offs better than one a i heard (and read) that the HKS SSQV doesnt leak at all. 5. will the PFC support these mods (or should i be thinkin of sellin this one for a more advanced unit SA motec or wolf. 6. any ideas on what type of headgasket and thickness i should use i am aiming at 600 HP at all fours in your terms that would be about 450awkW. any feedback will be helpfull as not many people srive GTR's (nor skylines) in my country. there is only one but that dude paid to have it tuned in japan. as i dont have the cash nor the resources to do so ill try and do it my self. i am aiming at a menacing RNN14 who is running 550HP. so you guys are my last resort. and keep in mind my country has no fckin dyno.

The SAFC is enough for a safe AF ratio tune. sadly in my country we dont have a dyno. we tune our cars while driving on the airport or smth. but a proper tune on a dyno would be advisable. and a intercooler with bigger piping will increase throttle lag. its simple physics. to create high velocitiy in a small pipe with a pump (read turbo) you need more time to reach the same velocity in a larger pipe with the same pump at the same setting

Running Bigger/hiflow Turbo With Stock Ecu?
Faid replied to Andi's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Ok the money is no option. but what i am reading on the forums is that the PFC just plugs in and i heard from sevaral people that the MOTEC requires a special harnass, special sensors. A friend of mine over here is running the M48 unit on his Nissan Pulsar GTiR and when he switched over to the MOTEC someone came over to set the car up for him. It took days just for the harnas. Isnt it possible that i buy the PFC Djetronic model to delete my MAF sensors and run a full MAP. -
Running Bigger/hiflow Turbo With Stock Ecu?
Faid replied to Andi's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Ok on the question of bigger turbo on a stock computer. I have a R33 GTR and i live in suriname (south america) yall probably never heard of my country. but my car is a total stocker im talking stock no exhaust, still use the airbox etc. but i am buying my parts piece by piece. allready have a HKS T04Z, a Exhaust manifold, 50mm HKS waste gate the exhaust im going to make localy, a fuel pressure regulator 600cc injectors (APEXi) fuel rail (APEXi). a bosch 044 fuel pump and fckin $600 in braiden hoses and fittings for trubo, fuel setup radiator etc. does anybody have advise on the ecu i should run, cuz nobody in my country has very much experience with standalone units. i myself am seeking advise evrywhere i can find. My goal is hitting 600-700 HP. and anyone with more advise on what i would be needing more, my budget for the coming race is about $40K. and i really could use some advise cuz there are some fast cars here but those dudes had people come over to tune their cars, and little me i dont have the connection for that -
The harder kick on boost is purely because your engine is getting more oxygen to burn, thus out of the same volume of air and fuel in the combustion chamber it can burn more fuel hence make more power. My advise is a good wideband tune to get your AF ratios a 100% this would help a lot

i have just received the parst for the os giken Rb30 kit bit still waiting on my stage 6 race head by AEBS california, but is it advisable to run a big twin in parralel (veilside GT 3542) or a single big T88-38gk trust turbo on this, i run a motec M 800 pro ECU with complete logging sensor array with EGT (x2), IAT (x2), Knock (x2), MAP (x2), wide band O2 (x2), launch, traction and air shifter control The head that i am currently waiting for has extensive cooling mods that will enable me to tune up to abou 450 BHP/l. but i am currently aiming for 900-950 HP and a big shot nitorus to help me to 1100HP.. here are some of my new goodies that i plan on setting up, as there is a nissan pulsar that keeps on ginving me shivers down my spine: MoTeC M800 ECU and complete logging sensor array with EGT (x2), IAT (x2), Knock (x2), MAP (x2), wide band O2 (x2), launch, traction and air shifter control MoTeC Advanced Dash/Logger system MoTeC CDI/8 channel ignition spark amplifier MoTeC uprated high intensity ferrite coil packs (x6) MoTeC complete sensor array and logging of over 50 parameters (shock travel, G's, all fluid temps and pressures in engine, gearbox, diffs, etc) RB 30 engine by OS GIKEN Modified to the fullest race head with custom intake and exhaust manifolds by AEBS OS GIKEN 6spd sequential gearbox OS GIKEN quad plate clutch 2* bosch fuel pumps AEBS highflow fuel rail NX direct port 200HP nitrous shot hollinger custom drive shafts Yokohama slicks custom 1250cc injectors Greddy racing BOV (recirculated) with 3 bar spring APEX i radiator AEBS Stage 6 head tomei pro cam 280 IN @ 11.5mm lift tomei pro cam 290 EX @ 11.5mm lift titanium retainers custom valvesprings for higher lift mainly gen oversize valves 5 angle vavle hob extensive porting and polishing ARP bolts Ill keep you guys informed if i have pondered over the turbo question with my tuner, but if you guys would help me out it would be great. i have cloked with my GReddy hellcal gears at about 900-950 hp about 9.76, but in the last race my head stud bolts blew and the head acually put a dent in my hood, is was a complete failure, i am still trying to beat a nissan pulsar, that car is just develish, running about 900 HP on his car the carr clocks about 9.5 on a HKS kansai gear set with no syncros. raced im 3 times, still no luck, but for once and for all i want to be the top racer and im going big this time, so please advise on the turbo question
