  1. Update: the new Facebook build page is now https://www.facebook.com/XtremeGTR The type I had created originally was not suited to what we wanted to do with the page. This car has certainly progressed, but being such a major rebuild means its taken some time. I have some fabulous content going up soon, including the cage going in and all the parts we've purchased. Website underway but due to some secret squirrel stuff, won't be fully live until the unveiling event at end of August. www.xtremegtr.com.au
  2. I've been meaning to post these pics up for a while. This is my road registered GTR. I love my wide format printer
  3. I hope so Rosie, I'm torn between style and performance on a few things eg not fond of the wing that looks like it's joined to the car by a shopping trolley lol but I will try to get the right compromise lol
  4. Hey Sin, I saw another post where you said you look pretty good in a suit and tie, I can vouch for you there lol we washed up ok in the boardrooms didn't we?
  5. Sorry lol I opened it to public, but please join so you get the updates. We are taking photos of all the parts to post up including the carbon dash, panels etc
  6. Lol yes, what a nightmare he was! I've still got the silver GTR and GTST as well as Xtreme, seems I don't like parting with them.
  7. Many of you will remember this car in its past life, however, we are reinventing her... hopefully in time for WTAC 2016. If you would like to see the development of the project as she grows, you can follow her build here https://www.facebook.com/groups/840528352692226/ While most of you know her by her previous name, she will now be known as the Xtreme GTR [emoji2] We should have a reunion bbq sometime soon too!
  8. Do they make Santa outfits that big? *hiding* Hello Kettle, pleased to meet you, my name is Pot!!!
  9. Grats on the clubhouse... and its okay Shell, I'll sleep with you LOL And that won't get taken the wrong way.... NOT!!!!
  10. Come have a look at Wheels, Mark didn't like the black bonnet, so its blue now. Its looking good, he can't wait to get good tyres on it, but its going good considering.
  11. It would have been fun to catch up with everyone, we race with Michael at other events, he goes well. SAU do a great job in giving people a taste of the track who may never have taken that step otherwise. Hillclimbs are good for getting some fun with only a fraction of the wear and tear and helps you perfect the standing start. When are we getting you back out to the track PS sorry for the hijacked thread
  12. We'll be going, might try to get a car on the SAU stand this year, probably the silver GTR if I can get nicer wheels to fit over these brakes - Will take the BSM GTR and open wheeler to the SDMA stand. Unless its p!ssing down rain of course, then I think I will stay at home... I know Im slack. F1 is on in the afternoon, so unless you're in Melbourne to see it live, you can still come to wheels and watch the F1 in the afternoon
  13. oh sh!t I spoke too soon LOL
  14. I undertand your frustration, but was this the 'correct' forum for this rant given it wasnt a Skyline? I'd be very surprised if they were a member here. Fortunately, we don't have many d!ckheads here.
  15. I might put my GTR at the SAU stand and Marks GTR at SDMA stand, that way we can be loyal to both someone will need to keep an eye on it though cos I will be with my open wheeler for most of the time.
  16. Just found his time was 45.26
  17. Mark broke the class record... twice... bet he can't wait for better weather, or maybe that helped! (I think it was either 45.24 or 45.25) Jo (Tarmac/Jeno's wifey) won fastest Lady in the BMW!!! If Bullet32 (Mick) was there, he might have put up a battle for fastest lady, but we can't seem to get him out there I hope my car is ready in time for Bathurst, Im not a good pitcrew or observer because Im too envious.
  18. Hillclimb is on today, I wont have my car there, but Mark will be there testing the BSM GTR
  19. Well? Who else is in? My entry is in and accepted
  20. He had brand new Yokies on for that event
  21. Did you end up getting in touch with Keith at KB Clutch Engineering in Penrith? He builds an awesome clutch at unbelieveable prices IMHO - you've seen our GTR launch and he built that for under $500 and its still going strong, what was that? Say 2-3 years ago? I wanted the clutch to be the weakest link in the drive-train and KB agreed with me. He said the only benefit a multiplate would give me over something he could build is 'bragging rights at the pub'. So mine is a KB built single plate and I love it.
  22. Brand new Yokohama A050's. We're not sure if the Motec is running the 4wd or not at this stage. It has a lot of potential, but still needs a lot to do. Thanks John, I thought he went well too, new car/new track. I always start a new track in safe (granny) mode lol
  23. That would be great, let me know how you go, we're in the camper, not sure you would want to bunk up so close and personal with us... Jeno/Tarmac might get jealous of Mark cos they are like this --> 0
  24. Anyone going to be in Sydney on Sunday that wants something interesting to do? My pitb!tch is racing as well and is starting to worry about the little things... like getting me harnessed in, tyre pressures, fuels and anything unexpected which may come along - so I was wondering if anyone was interested in lending a hand on Sunday at Eastern Creek at the NSW Supersprint Championships? Let me know if you are interested. Cheers Michele PS I posted in NSW forum, but no takers yet.
