  1. Agreed. Let us be adult enough to make our own choices rather than dictate what we can or can not take to Wheels. I'm sure commonsense will prevail and people will leave their dinkies behind, but while my bum points to the ground, I won't turn a SAU member away from attending/bringing their car... regardless of make/GTR/status/rank etc Luv youse all
  2. I'm pretty sure its a given that all SAU members are welcome at Wheels. We can put all the models together and non Skylines together to fit with the theme, but we're not closing doors to any SAUers. Even Richard can bring his Pooprah if he wants!
  3. Man goes to doctor with a hearing problem. Doctor says can you describe the symptoms? Man says Homers a fat b@st@rd and Marge has blue hair
  4. Bathurst 7-8 March is NSW Hillclimb Championship round 2 & 3. Bulahdelah has a club day, which isn't part of the State Championship on 29th March Bulahdelah NSW Hillclimb Championship round 7 is on 20th September Not much on their website at the moment, however there are contact details if you need more info on Bulahdelah http://www.myalllakesmotorsportsclubinc.com.au/ and lets not forget Bathurst Speed Weekend on 5-6 December... please tell me you can make this one?
  5. Open the doors to all who use and love this forum. Its the SAU community we are representing when we hold up the banner.
  6. Insure with Shannons (and a few others do it too) and you will get a free window every year and it doesn't have to be the front one. It even includes the motorcycle shields. Check your policy. Oh when I say free, it doesn't have an excess and doesn't impact your NCB. Its really free
  7. I don't agree - Because SAU isn't only Skylines... its a community forum . All SAUers should be allowed to bring their car or even their dinky if they want to. Why? Because they are a part of the SAU community and that is what we want to promote. When we hold up the SAU banner, we aren't saying Skyline owners only! I think most wouldn't want to put their car in... but if they want in, I say welcome them. To say anything other than welcome is to give the impression they aren't welcome in the SAU community, and I'm not comfortable with that.
  8. It's okay Mick, we always make exceptions for you
  9. All SAUers should be able to come - The SAU stand should be representing the group community & friendship, as much, if not more than the cars themselves
  10. PM sent - def worth activating
  11. We can't talk you into running? You seemed to really enjoy Bathurst.
  12. I'll see you at both
  13. The next one is on the 8th March and I'll be at Mt Panorama, but you would be made welcome, even without me there. Let me know if you are interested in the 8th and I will get you in touch with some super friendly people to help with membership and licence. You can get your CAMS L2S licence on the day of your first event. If you would rather wait, I'm back there again on the 5th April. I think you will find anyone who joins SDMA in the next few months will get membership until end June 2010. But check with them first. Let me know if you need help with preparation for the event i.e. fire ext, helmet etc.
  14. Butt crack chainsaw http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=7b1_1235486258
  15. She's looking beautiful Pete, are you going to try her out at the Hillclimb sometime?
  16. Kat it doesn't cost anything... just turn up, park your car and enjoy.
  17. I can tell you now that even if you hadn't ran for five years, SDMA would still make you feel welcome. They are a fantastic club.
  18. Spotted Melly in a sexy playboy bunny outfit on facebook
  19. If SDMA put on a stand... why don't you join in with us? I'll let you know if we are.
  20. Its probably been hollowed out to trick ya
  21. awww welcome back to the real world LOL happy hunting.
  22. There are a few of us who are already using the GPS stuff and IMHO the more of these cesspit dwellers that realise that ACT SAUers are using them, the less likely they are to target us. There are a few different types available, some use a service to track and others can be as simple as a pre-paid sim card for approx $20 per year (not including device) - Not bad insurance is it? You need to do your own research because I don't want to give away too much about the devices or services I am subscribing to... but there is something out there for every budget. For starters, although closed now due to the fact that SAU admins didn't like the no close date, it did offer an affordable solution to everyone http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Re....html&st=80 and my opinion is that instead of closing it, they should have made it a sticky to raise awareness of what is out there.
  23. Yes, I won't be there, but it would be great to see some of you get there. Tarmac/Jeno & Jo should be there.
  24. Doesn't sound like he wanted to sell it... sounds more like he doesn't want her now she's been tarnished by some scum who doesn't want to work for what they get, the type of scum that takes from those who worked hard to get there. The same scum Sinista was talking about recently in another thread. Message to all... seriously think about the GPS tracking devices. They are affordable and quick to locate your car and hopefully catch the lazy scum red handed. I hope the scum tries to take any of mine... including the race car and gets caught. I'm sorry for the torment you've been going through Matt, it isn't a good feeling. It isn't over yet because even the insurance company will probably treat you as if you did something wrong. I imagine you'll be interviewed more than once and feel like shit for something you didn't do /rant
  25. Join the NSW Hillclimb Series and come along. Two days of Bathurst for the 7-8th March and Buladelah has a practice day on the 29th March (you don't have to be registered for the NSW series for this one). Which ones are you coming to Neil?
