  1. Or chokes, or slips over, or gets burnt, or gets allergic to the sauce, or grazes their knee or gets an itchy nipple. You've gotta be covered.
  2. I was going to ask the same thing. Will wait and see.
  3. I have found this site interesting in the past, It used to have some good pointers as to what was not allowed with some of the traps. Many of which still continue... however Mark won't pull up and let me take photos of the traps because he thinks that we will then be targeted. http://www.speedingfineconsultants.com/
  4. You're right... I didn't see any fast cars trying to pass me... but don't think it was my mirrors It's okay, I don't wanna bruise any egos anyway LOL
  5. Does someone know someone who knows someone to get us booked in? I heard its hard to get in and you have to have insurance. That shouldn't be too hard to get though.
  6. I'm so glad it didn't rain Glen seton in a nissan skyline at bathurst 1987 http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=Pqszux7F1JA

  9. I was first outright on day 1 third outright on day 2 (clutch seal problems, only had two runs dammit) and came 2nd overall for both days. They said its never been won by a lady before. Mark did an awesome job in the stock GTR, being the first SAU Skyline and 6th Outright for the weekend, even though the speed limiter was cutting in and lagging before powering back up again. Well done Mark!! Stu Inwood in his GTR was 2nd on day 1 & 2 and won outright for both days combined. Stu... you better be looking for even more ways to get fuel down her throat because I'm after you at the next one LOL
  10. If you stayed last night, how come you didn't come to the presentation bbq and cheer me on?? They had one both nights. It was a fantastic weekend and those who missed out... start kicking yourself now!!! Then start making plans for the one coming up in March and get your entries in as soon as it opens, because they turned away quite a lot for this one. I was first outright on day one and 3rd outright on day 2 (only had two runs before having a clutch seal problem), they said it had never been won by a lady before. They then combined best times for both days and I was second outright for the weekend. I thought Mark (Tuk Tuk on forums) did an awesome job in a stock GTR with 50.72 on Conrod and 51.72 on Mountain Straight, especially considering the speed limiter was cutting in and lagging before recovering again. Awesome for an old fart! A HUGE thank you to Raps for putting on a BBQ for SAUers and your help yet again in the pits. It was fun having you guys there and watching you come in with your new times and adrenalin pumped shaking hands. Motor racing... its the best fun you can have laying down... oh in your case, sitting down. I soooo wish I could have had all my runs yesterday, it feels like the fish that got away - what a track!!!!
  11. We have a black SS ute in Canberra who baits you as well. Sat right up my butt for miles, others have said he tries to g you up at the lights. As for video... I say youtube would make the ombudsman take a good look.
  12. I think it would take too long for us to save up for a track day... unless someone is prepared to put in some serious fundraising efforts!!!! I agree re: the marquees/gazebo's from experience, 2x 3m gazebo's are much easier to manage than 1x 6m and there are times when a 3m is simply enough. Its more within budget i.e. one at a time. I think mine are called Oztrial deluxe gazebo or something to that effect. We could also start looking at auctions (DOLA/EBAY) for second-hand engine hoist for loan or low value hire - perhaps with a deposit for its return. I suggest we use what we have left to get the ball rolling for further fundraising ie buy sausages and drinks for our next sausage sizzle or better still, does anyone know how to get the foot in the door for a bunnings bbq?
  13. Well I'll be thinking of you slackers while I'm having an absolute ball around Mt Panorama
  14. Almost bullsh!t... even a 30 second hillclimb lasts longer, so I say better
