  1. I've never been to one before, but expect it was small compared to many... we didn't get many photos because Mark drove, but we did manage to stop for a quick photo. Thanks Pete and Chris for helping out. Edit: Isn't she beautiful... just like her mum
  2. All who brought their cars for the mini Skyline convoy can have a drive of my Formula Holden at Wakefield (oh and they must have a left leg that can work a clutch... sorry Steady, you can ride Rebeccas horse instead) It went really well.
  3. I've been told that its what I should be doing too, they say it takes a lot of nerve in a car like mine because you do get up a fair bit of speed down there... dunno if I've got what it takes to keep the power on through there though... *shiver*
  4. Don't leave us there... what have you got up your sleeve???? hmmmmm
  5. Didn't pick up Robin Williams though hehe - I defeated it!!
  6. Thanks everyone, I understand the strange time is an issue. If those who offered change their mind, I also understand, for those who can make it, we'll meet at my place at 4:30.
  7. hmmm photos... maybe Mark should be there ready for photos and I should drop Rebecca off. I guess we could stop for photos on the way too.
  8. Hi David, there will be 5 in my group, but please let me chip in with some money towards it.
  9. Ive never done this before (or seen one)... do we just drive in, drop her off and drive out?
  10. Thanks Guys We're talking this Wednesday 3rd Dec... if you can make it, meet at my place at 4:30 and we can drive via Tuggeranong Town Centre (exciting I know LOL, other suggestions welcome) there won't be many of us, but it will make it a little more interesting. Thats okay Paul, we'd love to have you come along if you change your mind, its no passengers, so not your "normal" formal run, more like arriving with a mini (ok very mini) convoy to make it a little more interesting. Guys its really up to you, if you're not here when we leave, we'll understand, no pressure at all. But if you can make it, Bec (and us) will really appreciate it. She's a good kid and the school nearly didn't allow them to have a formal (strange school). PM me if you don't have my address already. Thanks again
  11. When are you guys travelling up? We'll be camping at McPhillamy Park from Friday night, prolly get there around 7ish to set up. At this stage, Mark will be a few hours behind me in the GTR, so if anyone wants to help set up tents and get the car out... I won't say no LOL
  12. This immediately came to mind... http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=r4KN4VVHBes We want to see your deck... I hope the wood is hard enough for all of us
  13. I'm not suggesting a change of any dates, just FYI's. Sunday 14th is SDMA Hillclimb BBQ presentation lunch at the track. That may take a couple of ACT SAUers out. Sunday 7th is Bathurst Speed Weekend, but at this stage, I think that only takes out James?/Chris/Mark and I.
  14. Hmm well do you know any sexy male escorts that will raise a few eyebrows while assisting her out of the car at this school? LOL I'm a cruel mother hehe
  15. Well its that time... Becs formal is on Wednesday (3rd Dec) and she has decided to go with my GTR. She isn't allowed to take a guy from another school (school rules not mine) and she isn't attracted to any of the guys at her school so she is going solo. I was wondering if anyone wants to make it a little more special for her and join us to help make a little Skyline convoy. It won't take up much of your time because its not far from home here and its only dropping her at the church beside Trinity Christian School at Wanniassa. We could then go somewhere afterwards if you'd like... a mini cruise, drinks, eats, coffees, catch up. The only catch is that she needs to be at the church by 5pm - I know its a big ask being so early, but it won't take long and will be fun to catch up after. All models welcome. Anyone interested?
  16. Spotted dumbarse me driving around with Becs L' plates on... I was wondering why I was getting some strange stares
  17. What's the Circuit Club day at Wakie? Who's running this one?
  18. Ive got both, love driving both... but to be honest, the GTR, although almost stock (Tein coilovers is about it) is a sensational driving car and although I love driving the GTST, it doesn't shape up anywhere as good to drive as the GTR. GTR handles like a dream. For track, no comparison at all, GTR all the way.
  19. You only just got me... and it took you all day to catch up to what I did first run, I actually think its fun that you aspire to drive faster than a lady You call me a b!tch like its a bad thing? LOL
  20. Jess is no Mick (Bullet32) behind the wheel*, she really has a go, I'm proud of her. Oh and she actually turns up at events too. *Oh dear, did I say that out loud? Excellent job Jess, how did you end up? Do they have a ladies trophy? I'm sure you would have been up there.
  21. Glen - I still can't picture you in a white car... I hope I don't snob you. I was snobbed by a white 32 on Drakeford today... 3-4 guys in it.
  22. Actually, it wasn't too bad... I just wanted you to feel bad
  23. Yes, crappy weather, but a great day all the same... pity you guys DIDN'T GET YOUR TENT!!!!!! It would have been much nicer to stand out of the rain.
  24. awesome work John, you've put a lot of effort in. Thanks
