  1. Lets get a group together for a Haunted Hills weekend. I was only planning it this morning with Erol. From what I could see, they don't have 2009 calendar up yet.
  2. I think mine are called Oztrail Deluxe Gazebos and I got them from the local camping shop, sides are an optional extra. I think mine were about $399 each, but think you could do much better if you have time to shop around... sides were about $120. I've found 2x3m far more flexible and easier to manage than 1x6m.

  4. Its hard to capture "steep" in a photograph, but these do it pretty well. Thats why I chose them... what a spectacular backdrop!!! I liked the row of tyres in the first pick
  5. There is already a topic/pics in Skylines Australia > Automotive > Motorsport http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Au...ha-t244163.html
  6. I heard he backed it into the wall... but I'm not sure where i.e. before/after the dipper.
  7. Results - I've scanned my hard copy to PDF (Acrobat Reader required). Results from Day 2 (including final outcomes) Aust_HCC_2008_day_2.pdf
  8. oh yeah and I broke the Ladies record
  9. I will try to get some photos up for everyone, it was a fabulous weekend... I didn't want it to end. Makes me look forward to speed weekend even more now. I'll probably camp at McPhillamy Park. Cling wrap works a treat Neil cried like a baby when he saw the ol' Capri
  10. Those results are for March NSW Hillclimb, not the Australian Championships - Australian results weren't up last time I looked. Raps, thank you for your help on the weekend. A big thank you to Neil who really was a great help on Thursday and Friday until my pit crew turned up Friday night. I understand there were approx 134 entries. Outright winners were 1st Gary West 21.73 2nd Andrew Howell 22.11 3rd Peter Gumley 22.33 Outright Ladies 1st Michele Guyer 26.81 2nd Amy Mrcela 29.66 3rd Mandy Tighe 32.03 Neil was put into Formula Libre 751-1300cc under protest (because he isn't an open wheeler) and came second with a time of 29.00 Michele came 16th overall Neil came 29th
  11. Well, it seems that Mark and I will be there after all. IRACE at Morgan Park has been called off. Is Jo running this one? Just came back from the Australian Hillclimb Championships at Mount Panorama, what a fantastic weekend that was. Tarmac Jo? Michele Mark
  12. There is a black hotted up looking ute (sorry, can't remember the model, hard back) getting around with one of these cameras on the dash as well. They scream up behind you and sit behind you for ages... I think waiting for you to get the sh!ts and stamp on it. They also rode my @rse through quite a way of 40km roadworks. They were initially going the other way, did a u turn when they saw the magnet. Followed me for miles, naturally I was doing the right thing but lost interest when they eventually got up beside me, ogled and realised I must have been a dumbass, boring middle aged (as Bec would say "born in the ice age") soccer mum. Like I've said before, I wouldn't be a young P plater with a Skyline for quids, it would be intimidating (its intimidating enough as it is) and quite scary.
  13. Me too, they're awesome. oh crap... showing my age now, I should have said orsm :laughing-smiley-014:
  14. Nissan owners don't get p!ssed off, they get even.
  15. Guys don't leave helmets etc in cars at night, take them into your room. Had someone tell me their car was smashed into and lost all their helmets, suits etc while they were there. Before I bought the enclosed trailer, I was still carting my car around on the back of a truck & took daughter to movies there in the middle of the day and didn't even make the walk to the theatre before turning back to find my open wheeler covered in 10-15yo kids. Made me noiiivous.
  16. Its too late this year, but we should look at this for next year http://www.big4.com.au/special-offers/nati...4-for-free.aspx
  17. Neil - are you coming to this or...
  18. You know the right buttons to press... SPEED weekend, here we come :) I've entered the open wheeler and also entered Mark in the GTR, so we've got two cars going. The GTR is such a princess these days, I wonder what she'll think of doing a bit of work for a change?? Now I have to break the news to SDMA that we won't be attending the working bee with the grader *guilty look* before Jeno (Tarmac) dobs me in.
  19. That does it... if you guys are going, I'm not staying at home. Don't back out on me!!!! Let me know if you guys want to take a swag and bunk in my car trailer. I'll take a little bbq and you can buy meat/bread there. That should keep some overheads down for you.
  20. *shiver* I'm getting those familiar shakes... the hearts thumpin'... I wanna goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo SDMA working bee or Speed Weekend? Let my club down... Speed Weekend? This is cruel!! Whats Neil got to say for himself? He should be at this. Bugger you Weevil... I had myself convinced that going to Bathurst next week, Morgan Park the weekend after, followed by OzBOSS at Wakie would be enough for the year and now I know you guys are going????? I'm so weak LOL
  21. video looks slower than being in the car, but here's me breaking the class record on 19th Oct 08 http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=zrW4RyLZNmE
