Thanks Chris, it would have been great to catch up. Are you doing Bathurst Speed Weekend this year? LOVE that weekend

My main pitb!tch (Mark) is racing as well with his new car and is starting to worry about the little things... like getting me harnessed in if needed, tyre pressures, fuels and anything unexpected which may come along - so I was wondering if anyone local was interested in lending a hand on Sunday at Eastern Creek at the NSW Supersprint Championships? The two cars are the ex BSM GTR and my open wheeler. Let me know if you are interested. Cheers Michele

should we?

More information will be coming once things get underway. The dealer in question took money from another dealer after I paid for the car in full. The other (innocent victim) dealer had a truck go to pick up our car yesterday morning, but I had already taken possession after having a further $2500 extorted from us to take delivery of a car we had already paid for in full. I won't say more HERE until legals are completed, but it's not over yet. Myself and the other parties are taking legal and media action until I get my $2500 back. My barrister believes strongly that no judge would rule in the dealers favour after seeing my receipt and contract, and is so confident he will work pro-bono and recover his costs. Feel free to pm me for updates

We are in possession, but I never want to have to go through anything like that ever again. Thank you all for your words of support. Thank goodness so many know me so well and know the way i operate.

You all aren't going to believe this The dealer may not follow through with the deal even though we have paid in full, he now wants more money (after the sale) see more http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...78#entry5401378

Anyone Being Paid To Race?
Michele replied to TurboDoseBro's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
How to make a little bit of money out of motorsport? Start off with a LOT of money. -
Im very worried, but for different reasons, the selfish side of me is terrified of losing my pit crew and I don't think I will make a good pitb!tch.

Message from Club VW - Mark and I are going as we've heard its a great friendly day. You will need an L2S CAMS licence and be a member of a club i.e. SAU, SDMA etc They have a fair bit of info on their website if you're not sure what you need. Failing that, you can always ask here, we're happy to help. Good chance to practice before the upcoming SAU Track Day. ------------------- Greetings all, I am secretary for a multiclub supersprint at Wakefield Park on May 22. Currently I'm running very light on entries. If you are aware of anyone who may be interested in competing, all information and paperwork is available at http://www.clubvw.org.au/supersprint/. I'm still deciding... but I'm pretty sure Bec and Andrew will be there sharing the GTST. Tim will be there, he's a multiple NSW Champion and is very fast, well worth a look.

Saw Frink today on Drakeford, swapped lanes a few times so he could come up beside us, but he just kept switching lanes with us lol twas funny at the time... then when he did get beside us, he didn't look at both Mark and I giving goofy looks and waving like idiots... I think your passenger saw us but was afraid to say anything about the old weirdo's in the next lane

Thanks Glen, although it was taken away from me again LOL Its about to be taken out of reach of me altogether. The multi winning NSW Champion is coming to our track to work on his car setup... he is bound the take the record to a whole new level, one I daresay will take a long time to crack Can't wait to see you out there Glen, you will thoroughly enjoy it -

Blue Skyline Crashed Into House In Calwell?
Michele replied to Trozzle's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Understandable, but we aren't all bad. I've never done damage to another persons car but I've had damage done to mine on 3 separate occasions. But those P platers are bastards. So which one are you? The car thief or the P plater -
Yeah Im slack had a real busy race year and finished off with a trip to Thailand, geesh I love that place, thinking seriously about buying over there and living there for 6 months of the year. Im not going to be racing as 'full on' this year, it was too much travelling. Is there only one Dent King here now? or more? if so, which was your guy, I might give him a call. Its only a small dent, but it annoys the crap out of me. The Dent King guy I phoned about a year ago def told me NO to aluminium.
-
I tried Dent King for a little dent in the GTR, they told me they don't do aluminium dents?? Let me know if you find out otherwise... apparently it stretches.

Mount Panorama - Affordable Event Of The Year
Michele posted a topic in Australian Capital Territory
Yes you heard right. I did this event last year along with many fellow SAUers from NSW and it was a BUZZ. Day 1 - $120 - 5th December 2009 Conrod Straight Supersprint - Standing start, two cars, side by side, drag/dash to Australias Fastest Corner, The Caltex Chase and through Murrays Corner to finish on Pit Straight. Day 2 - $120 - 6th December 2009 Mountain Straight Hillclimb - Start on Mountain Straight, turning into Griffins Bend, running up through the cutting to the top of the Mountain and finish just before Skyline, just in time to turn into McPhillamy Park. You can run both days, or only one. BUT you must get your entries IN EARLY, this event is always over subscribed. We camp on top of the Mountain at McPhillamy Park. You can either bring a tent or stay in town. The club is super friendly and the weekend is a BLAST. You will need to have your L2S licence and be a member of a CAMS affiliated club (i.e. SAU NSW) Supp Regs/Entry forms Day 1 http://www.blcc.com.au./dmdocuments/supers...pp%20regs-1.pdf Day 2 http://www.blcc.com.au/dmdocuments/mtn%20s...supp%20regs.pdf Bathurst Light Car Club Website http://www.blcc.com.au/index.php GET YOUR ENTRIES IN EARLY!!!! Day 1 Pit in main pit area Day 2 Pit at McPhillamy Park PS: I will have a BBQ there if you want to bring your own meat/food. PPS: There may be random breath testing at any CAMS event without prior warning. Ive been breath tested two times at my last three events. Weevil - Tell em how good it is!!!! -
I'll be there )))) but wont be running at night time, but that gives me til about 7:30pm ish I love this track and the closer it gets to closing the sadder I feel about it

Well from my very limited understanding... I don't think AASA or CAMS appreciate what IRACE are doing. Things may change in future, but I don't know if AASA will "accommodate" IRACE running at Wakefield at this time... lets hope Im wrong and this will be something of the future. They are back at OP at the end of the year, they have another event pencilled in between with venue tba - rumour could be EC? Lets hope this is the case
