  1. you mean from box to sex on wheels to whales umm let me know when its safe for me to return
  2. Please count me in - It looks goooooooooood.
  3. Great idea Luke, even got Mick motivated... WTG!!
  4. I suspect that if it only said SAU or skylinesaustralia.com that it will conflict with what fundraising is already taking place with SAU NSW (check with Shell) and their own stickers - even if its free (wow - very thoughtful offer Anthony). However if it was something specific to ACT... then I would be surprised if it upset the camp.
  5. If anyone needs a very simple, free tool for converting the .mov files to .avi you can download Rad Video Tools (only 1.44mb) from http://www.topdrawerdownloads.com/download/104350
  6. Its marked where you go in & spectators parking is to the left. You can park in the pit area, but if you do, park in the first bay where there are hardly any competitors. Spectator areas are easy to spot and so long as you don't go through any fences on to the track you're pretty safe. Its also okay to walk through the pits.
  7. Do you know which ones? (save him downloading them all)
  8. Right here in SAU, drop some bait on a line and you will catch Bullet32's all day. Not good eating, but they put up a good fight. PS: recommended baits - cutting polish/wax, tyres and frangipanis for starters, but try a variety cos they're bound to work
  9. Hillclimb results SDMA_19_Oct.pdf
  10. We still you Actually, it was awesome for me to be able to download and watch my run... and hear it (cos it sounds different with the helmet on) and what makes it really special is capturing my record breaking run (thanks John).
  11. awwwww if I had a camera, I would have taken a photo of you. I'm sure there are some out there. C'mon guys, post 'em up.
  12. Can't wait for J&J Photography to put their work up
  13. No special skills required, they will let you know what to do on the day and they will REALLY appreciate it. Last time SAU members helped them out they were very grateful and thanked us a few times, even in their newsletters. They'll need a chocker and quite a few flaggies. Drinks and food supplied. I can't help because the Australian Hillclimb Championships are on at Mt Panorama that same weekend, but it would be great if any of you are interested. Budding photographers can get some excellent shots at the top of the hill as well.
  14. I prefer my bacon and egg rolls with tomato sauce, but whatever takes your fancy
  15. LOL Shell And my car looks very sexy with the Skyline rear wheels on too hahahhaha
  16. I had a great day as well and it was fantastic to have so many of you there. I can see a few of you getting under 50 seconds for the next round. Mazman - I'm glad you enjoyed the day, especially as you had to travel so far. Loved your burnouts too Stinkypoo - great vids, thanks for taking the time to edit it up for us... makes me feel guilty about not doing some of my previous videos, perhaps I need to rethink the software I'm using and try to simple it down a bit so I don't keep putting it off. I broke the class record which was set in Feb 2003 (44.17) with my 43.95 and have less than half a second to get to club track record (43.53), however only had two runs before breaking my belt... a belt which is very hard to buy in Oz Thanks to all who participated and also to those who came out to support us, it was great catching up with everyone again. While I don't think I'll be at the next hillclimb because of www.irace.net.au at Morgan Park, I hope everyone enjoyed themselves enough to participate at next months meeting. PS. Sinista... where were you?
  17. Congrats everyone on their new rides, seem we have a few more people to take the p!ss out of now... but we'll wait a bit longer so we don't scare you away. Which reminds me, best not to let Mick near you yet, cos we'd like you to hang around a bit longer LOL If any of you are out with your new cars (and even if you're not driving your new car yet) swing by the hillclimb on Sutton Rd and say hi, there should be a few of us there.
  18. mazman - I'm impressed with you travelling all this way for the cause you'll have a great day. Sing out if you need somewhere to stay.
  19. Looking at the Speed off the street dates on their website... If its the 6th I'll be at the Aust Hillclimb Championships @ Mt Panorama (http://www.hillclimbnsw.com/calendar.html) If its the 17th, I'll be on my way back from Morgan Park (www.irace.net.au) If its the 27th, count me in Oran Park are having some practice days too, anyone interested, if so I'll paste up some dates when they let me know.
  20. Thats where I have mine... some have them under the drivers legs, in front of the seat.
  21. You can pay online and email them the details with your entry forms, you're right, they are closing tomorrow, for a while there they were closing on the Wednesday, but I see their back to Thursday. Payment should be in before the weekend, unless you have made other arrangments with the event secretary.
  22. I did a 1.04 there and I'm not welcome back... new rules, no open wheelers, no slicks blah blah blah... IMHO I don't think they like being beaten by a lady (and I don't play that card as a rule).
  23. They're talking mostly sunny for Sunday now, entries close tonight. You won't regret it, its a lot of fun... and remember, you only go as fast as you're comfortable with, as you're only racing a clock, no-one else. The launches are fun too I think Shell should do it. We've gotta get Kat out there too.
  24. This is what I like to see... now where are all the Supras? Jeno - Are you bringing your Skyline to this event?
