  1. moi ?? neverrrrrrrrrrrr am I really the only one that thought "cash in hand jobs" could have had another meaning?
  2. He didn't do too badly considering he was a 2wd in a 4wd class, there is approx 3-4 seconds between my GTR and GTST at the SDMA hillclimb at Fairbairn. According to the results, your GTR did 33.51 and the GTST did 34.42 SDMA would have put the GTST into Type 2 and if there were mods Type 3. I'll have to read the supp regs and try to work out why SV for the GTST.
  3. OMG I think you had better change the heading, or the grammar! Its a bit like "I helped my Uncle jack off a horse" You could change it to Weekend work wanted - Prefer cash in hand LOL Alternatively, you may just get yourself a weekend job
  4. hmm link works for me. Results are on their home page rather than their 'Results' page at this stage. Isn't the other Skyline in your group a GTST? if so, it shouldn't be in SV, its not 4wd... or was there another GTR there on the day?
  5. The results are up now http://www.blcc.com.au/dmdocuments/results...mb%20270708.pdf
  6. You will love our track too... spectators (free) can see the whole track from go to whoa and its twice as long as last weekend. Not to mention an all day BBQ.
  7. Update time... who has paid/sent in their entry forms for 17th August?
  8. I don't have full results yet because the hail brought the show to a grinding halt - I'm pretty sure I won my class and at the end of two laps I was FTD, but some got to have a crack at a 3rd lap before the hail and Im pretty sure one of those had a better time than mine. However I didn't get to do a 3rd run, so until they come back and say they will allow the 3rd run for those who completed it, I won't really know. I didn't know SAU'ers were going to be there until on the day, but there is a little bit on it in here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Sk...60#entry4043513 Bathurst Light Car Club (BLCC) is having a supersprint down Conrod to start/finish line on 30th Aug and on 31st Aug the Mount Panorama Hillclimb is on again - Who's coming?
  9. I'm jealous, well almost... i was tearing around Mt Panorama in the open wheeler instead and ended up with a lap full of hail there as well. Couldn't exactly wind the windows up. Shell that mutt is growing big enough to use as a chamois now
  10. Oh and can I be your friend too Jayce? I think the open wheeler would look great in CF
  11. March 87B chassis with a Holden 3.8 V6 Larry Perkins built engine
  12. It was a lot of fun... I didn't get to my 3rd run, I was in the lineup for my 3rd and ended up with a lap full of hail. I did 28.24 but there was definitely room for improvement on where to do some of my gear changes. I heard they are having another one around 31st August- two days, Saturday supersprints (two cars at a time) down Conrod straight to the pit straight start line and then Sunday, the same hillclimb we did yesterday (well, tried to do before the hail). I'm going to try to be there in August and again in Nov for the Australian Hillclimb Championships and whats this one you're talking about in Dec? Come in August Jess! I love seeing the Skylines running. The start... This photo is tricky, almost looks like I'm going down a hill instead of up...

  22. Depends, no-one really polices the compliance... i.e. my importer told me that they only have to put up one prototype, its checked (by DOTARS I believe) and if approved (according to the rules) they are told they can import 20 to the same level (pulled that figure from my @ss) but my point is that the cars aren't individually inspected (except for rego) which means that the importers only need to get the prototype right. If you don't get a good importer, they will only do the most obvious and in your face type things like tyres. So no matter what they tell you, bleed everything (fluids and oils), change every filter and check everything thoroughly. There is no way on this earth that my importer had bled/replaced the brake fluid, yet this is one of the rules. Not that it bothered me because we always drop all oil and fluids out of any new/used car and put our own in so we know its okay. See if you can get your importer to guarantee it will pass for rego DOTARS is now known as Dept of Infrastructure and blah blah blah short novel blah blah (lets call them Infrastructure) and you should get more info from reading some of the links on this page http://www.infrastructure.gov.au/roads/mot...ards/index.aspx
  23. Apart from the mishap, how did you go? Any pics?
  24. yes, fantastic photos, should get you to come to the next hillclimb... oh and while you're there you should enter
  25. great turnout There were about 4 Evos and a Rex there today... it's okay, the GTR won, so we can hold our heads up this month, but we need more Skyline support and I think we're going to do it in August. Lets get in early with the entry forms at least and then make the payment online. Entry forms can be emailed, payment can be cheque or direct deposit. Cams licence can be obtained in advance or on the day at the track (same with club membership). At this stage I think there will be 1) A20089 - John 2) Tuk Tuk - Mark 3) Turismo - Reece 4) BNR32T - Keith 5) Ozleroy - Leon 6) Donnan - Brendan 7 & 8)SAU in BMW - Tarmac - Jeno and Jo 9) SAU in open wheeler - Michele Who else is coming?
