You can get an IRACE circuit licence or they will accept your CAMS or AASA circuit licence. They are great to deal with, will bend over backwards to help you get out there and have some fun... not at all the obstructionalists like some another... un-named motor sporting body has become. They will do you a logbook on the day if needed, but would prefer to do in advance. They will even do your OLT for you... all you have to do is get your medical. Stuart Inwood ran his R33 GTR yesterday and blitzed the field, even with the reverse grid handicap... and he had a LOT of cars to get around. He was fantastic to watch in action. Caught up with Jess for a hi and a hug... I believe she has some photos to put up It will be televised on Speekweek and Inside Speed and will be using some of my incar footage.

at this stage it will be Mark, Rebecca and I... Not sure about SteadyEddy/Chris. Jeno and Jo can't be there Bullet32 is too soft and has a frangipani show on James doesn't know what he's missing out on Donnons mum won't let him Reeces car is never in one piece long enough and he still hasn't given me back my clutch line hmm that enuff sm@rt @rsin' from me to make up for being so quiet lately You were doing some great times out there at the last one. Well done!! I thought it was impressive given you haven't had a lot of runs around that track. I think you'll be putting up a great battle at future events. -
State Supersprint - Round 4 Photos
Michele replied to matt mead's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Love your work Matt, especially the way you don't put the car in the 'centre' of every photo like some photographers do... and also the way you usually have the photo with 'somewhere to go' or 'somewhere the car just came from' - I know I'm not describing it very well, but its far more interesting and certainly not falling into the traps of so many other photographers. Great perspective. -
This event fills up fast, only 40 entries - Its very popular http://www.sdmahillclimb.com/Entry.html I think it will get close to filling up within 48 hours.

I'm with you Neil, I'm the same, its hard to go watch everyone else have fun while your car isn't running. Mine will be in pieces for next two weeks and I will have to pull out of the Supersprints at Wakie this weekend. Actually, they are short of numbers, is anyone interested? VW Club is putting it on. PM me if you need contacts.

Wow - my first look at Eastern Creek and it was awesome. I'm still learning, but happy to have improved throughout the day. Ended up doing a belt in the end, but thats little considering I've just had three solid days of motor racing... I'm exhausted though, but can't wait to have another crack at EC to see if I can improve

fyi that flamethrower website has a virus called JS:Cruzer-B [Trj]- my antivirus software blocked the page and warned me about it. If you went to that website and didn't get a warning, consider changing your AV software.

Round 4 Nsw Hillclimb Championships

Excellent, looking forward to seeing you at Grafton - You will need to get your entries in early... in saying that, there has been a delay in releasing the entry forms/supp regs (I understand they are with CAMS atm). Have a talk to Bob Wooton using this link http://hillclimbnsw.com/contactbw/ and ask if you need to register for the "Championship" to compete. Its only about $50 for the year and pretty much guarantees you a spot if they fill up (so long as you get your entries in on time). As registered people get priority over local club runners who aren't registered. All entries have a closing date before the day as they need to print up the booklets with runners/records etc before the race. -
Round 4 Nsw Hillclimb Championships

I know what you mean, we're always trying to get these guys involved too... I think we're getting through to them too because we seem to be getting more and more there each time. It's taking that first step that seems to be the hardest, after that they realise how much fun it really is and that its not too hard on the cars. I don't know what the GTR is fully capable of because we have it set conservatively lower than it can do. The first tune we had done locally turned to sh!t fast, and he refused to fix the problem - but Scott at Insight Motorsport in Arndell Park had her purring in no time (2-3 hours on the dyno and you could hear a difference in the first 10 minutes) I can't say enough about how professional Scott was to deal with and he specialises in EVO's, so keep him in mind (and he was cheaper than the local guy). -
Would have been another excuse for a fun get-together, but I'll be at a different type of track that day
-
Nothing strange about it at all, after all, Pete was wearing a frangipani shirt. Pete, I told you that was dangerous!!
-
5 + reverse, H pattern and so close together its hard to know where you are. I want one like Neils, less to think about LOL
