  1. aww sorry to hear... have you tried Just Japs?
  2. good luck with it! *fingers crossed for you*
  3. Shredder by name and... *nuffin*
  4. CEF11E moved to Melbourne I think we should kick his butt back here If enough of us were able to get together, we could probably talk him into a weekend back in Canberra to visit the outlaws and tune ECU's LOL
  5. Don't forget to add things to this calendar if you think they'll be of interest. Car shows, anything really.
  6. If you come into the competitors area and park in either the first street (if you could call it that) on your left, or on the main road in, there are some shady spots which are out of the way on the right. You can also go to the end of the main road and there is (nice) gravel area to the right of the scrutineering caravan. They won't mind you parking in these places at all. They don't like them parking in the first few bays though because competitors are looping around there all day while doing their runs. Hopefully Turismo will be running this one too. Reece?? are you coming? Bring the Starlet, double enter with Pat let me rephrase that, you can share the car LOL
  7. The club events are almost every month, check out the calendar on www.sdmahillclimb.com - the NSW state round is only here once a year. You should have come to say hi, cos half the forum was there, you could have met everyone.
  8. Jeno, Jo and I all achieved PB's today *woohoooo* Jeno and Jo's car did sound AWESOME. I won Fastest Lady... and the highlight for me was coming 2nd in my event (to Peter Gumley). It was great to see so many of you guys turn up (I needed the hugs). Local club event is on again in approx 2 weeks (27th April) and remember I'm here to help if anyone is interested in running. www.sdmahillclimb.com Jeno, Jo, Tuk Tuk and I are going to Bathurst to have a crack at Mt Panorama with Bathurst Light Car Club in a few months time... if you're interested in joining us, you should think about starting here at the local club first.
  9. uhoh... the rains a comin' and I only have slicks ahh well, think of the practice LOL
  10. Welcome to the family Kirstie we need more goils around here... congrats on the new car and of course all the guys will want pics (and some of the car too )
  11. On Sutton Rd near Queanbeyan, on the left not far from where you turn on to Sutton Road (see green arrow on attached map). Don't forget to come say I'm in the black open wheeler, Jeno and Jo are in the white BMW
  12. Round 3 of the NSW Hillclimb Championships are on in Canberra this Sunday (tomorrow). There will be some big runners out there including Peter Gumley who holds the outright record at 38.98 and makes it look easy. Entry is free to spectate, so come out and get a feel for how things happen out there... then bring your own cars and have a run on 27th April (remember I'm here to help if anyone needs support in preparation). Tarmac (is Jo coming?) and I are running, I don't expect to be competive at this one, but am looking forward to some more time behind the wheel of this beast, I wish it wasn't so low or I would be tempted to take it to Texi LOL Edit: scrutineering begins at 7am and the racing starts at 9am, should run until approx 4pm. The Pit Stop Cafe sells drinks, snacks and sausage sandwiches all day.
  13. No that was me being a brat and going along with your comment on being attractive and having a good taste in cars LOL
  14. why thank you (Mick: don't spoil my moment here... let me dream a little )
  15. Very weird indeed. Maybe they're going to follow you and phone you up one day and see if you answer the phone while driving LOL
  16. and when I saw you turn off I remembered... that was the street I was supposed to take
  17. I like the colour, it says LOOK AT MOI. I was trying to think of a way to describe it, but think myr332 got it right when he said "it certainly has a presence to it". I think the colour has a bit of wow factor and gets away from the greys/blues/maroons. Can't wait to see it for real, you had better bring it to Texikhana oh and welcome to the family
  18. You went well out at the skidpan... I'm such a girl out there LOL but I do enjoy it.
  19. Awwww you'll have to come take some photos at Texikhana then. Thanks Keith for organising, it was yet another fun day with a great bunch of people.
  20. Congratulations on your new family member PICS!!!
  21. I'm not, I'm going out to dinner and hope to watch the footy after.
  22. I had a really good comeback to this... but don't want to corrupt you youngans.
  23. One more sleep... Ive washed my car all ready *Borat voice* NOOOOOOT
  24. QUOTE(LadyBytes @ 10 Oct 2007, 06:40 PM) Im gonna try for fastest lady... unless Bullet32 beats me
  25. The organisers will need to confirm, but my understanding is that as this isn't a "speed" event i.e. chicanes will be strategically placed to bring the pace down, that a fire extinguisher is probably not required for this particular event. Although a L2S is good value because you can use it elsewhere/other events i.e. Hillclimbs and AutoSports track days at Wakie, I think you can run with just the L2 at this even. I reiterate though, confirm with the organisers.
