  1. Yes, your L2S is fine. Because SAU is CAMS affiliated, I think you will find they can issue licences on the day for those who don't have licences yet. L2S is the best value licence if you want to do other events, but if you're not doing anything else, you might need to discuss a cheaper option with SAU like L2 or AASA. (I'm basing this on what we can do at SDMA and haven't confirmed with SAU).
  2. I've got someone interested. PM me your phone details and I'll get him to call you.
  3. can't we coat them with vaseline first? LOL
  4. Yep, its the loose nut on the steering wheel

  11. I've missed ya Mick... where have ya been? One of the good things about taking the p!ss out of you is the four day delay I get in your comeback... even when its in person LOL
  12. I can see it now... pull over... you're defected sir for having more than four times the allowable limit of frangipanis on your car
  13. Yes please *nod nod* I wanna see this baaaaaaaaaaaad
  14. LOL tis ok Shell, I waz being a good girl *nod nod*
  15. That Starlet is very scary... especially when this face is peering over the steering wheel
  16. Yeah they were about 50m after where you turn off, speed camera just before the bridge and the mob were immediately after the bridge
  17. It was good to meet you and to see the Skyline out there Dani - I'm going to be trying to spend a few speed off the street days out there in future to get used to my car. I'll let everyone know the next one. Weekdays are cheaper, ($110 vs $140) but means a day off work. I've got my name down for the next AutoSports track day on 24th May and they are taking names down now, you will almost always get someone to fill your spot if you have to pull out before the day, register on http://www.autosports.com.au/ ($160 with timing). Glad to hear you got past the defect inspection... I too had one on the way home from the track in Canberra on the Monaro, there was about 15 of them there, pulled me over in the truck and asked for my licence/rego etc and then asked if I could park up for a bit while they all looked at the Formula Holden and were asking questions about it LOL so for those driving past it looked like a sting on meeeee Shell and SteadyEddie could've warned me they were in front, Titan prolly went through it too
  18. It was fuuuuuuuuuunnnnnn I was exhausted after it all though, those longer outings really made a difference, barely had enough energy to get myself out of the car when I came back in. Elbows are bruised and neck is a bit sore. Mark had his first drive of the FH yesterday and made himself carsick because it was too quick and jerky LOL Got my time down to 65.15 yesterday
  19. Its more of a 'slap together' at the last minute, the best kind for organisers LOL I was going by myself until I realised others were coming too... and the list grew... so threw the doors open. There's still time, its a speed off the streets day, anyone can go.
  20. Do you want to be picked up? Leaving around 6:45am if you need a lift.
  21. Who's coming to Wakie tomorrow? So far we have; Tarmac Jo Tuk Tuk SteadyEddy Moi Duncan (SAU NSW) Neil (SAU NSW with his Radical) Shell? if she can wake up ? ? c'mon
  22. As per my previous post, talk to Keith before you rush out and spend big $$ he explained a lot of things to me with the do's, don'ts and whyfors and built my clutch for under $500. She's a little jumpy around town (but manageable) and her launches at the hillclimb are greatly improved. I'm not saying go the same build, it might be too jumpy around town for you, but I was impressed with his ability to build a competition clutch for under $500.
  23. This is a good day - Quite a few NSW SAUers come along to these days so its a good opportunity to meet up and see other Skylines in action. I expect to see Reece (Turismo) there, would be nice if Mick could do something other than look pretty too cos he needs to do something to blow off the frangipanies and show us what it was really built for Expect to see Jo and Jeno (Tarmac) there as well with both the Skyline and Beemer. Donnan you should have a crack at it too, its more fun than roundabouts, I promise
