  1. Yeah the best photos were from there, but you can't cross the big white line now
  2. Yeah... you should be able to handle that beast on the Dyno at least.
  3. What do you mean you can't really drive at the moment? Oh and your ligaments aren't that cute, but I do believe you're suffering from SOFT tissue.
  4. LOL I don't know that she shares our enthusiasm of cars from her homeland - I was looking for signs of recognition as we pulled up with three Skylines in the driveway... nothing!! She probably now thinks its very Aussie to have lotsa Skylines :laughing-smiley-014:
  5. I haven't had any probs in the past, however its changed hands and rules have changed. I don't think they'll mind at all and there's a hundred other places to use it. Go for it. They won't let you stand near the wall at Pit Straight anymore, you can't even cross the road.
  6. I don't know if I should, Ive got a Japanese Exchange Student staying with me at the moment, she's very shy and might not like being taken to a dark carpark in the middle of the night.
  7. Yeah I got my name down too, lets keep our fingers crossed. I run sticky cameras and they havent said anything, but since they changed hands much has changed, they wont even let you watch from the pit straight barriers anymore, not even for photos and they were the best ones.
  8. It will take a helluva LOT more than a frangipani falling off to make that happen
  9. Sutton Road, near Queanbeyan.

  11. Soft, concert is Friday night, not Saturday morning, get your @rse out of bed and have the time of your life... you'll be glad you did.
  12. IMHO you'd get a better deal on Ebay than any car dealer and then negotiate the price down on the car you want for no trade (they put a trade-in buffer on the price)
  13. hahahahaaaaa*snort*hahahahaaaaa One of his frangipanis might fall off

  16. Next time you gotta say GTR didn't break, she's launching like a dream, suspect she launched and starved of fuel cos we don't fill her up for this event, he pulled in being cautious but she was fine, ran the rest of the day without any problems.
  17. tsk tsk Daniel wants a sausage sizzle... as in bbq... sounds more to me like he volunteered for some serious cooking
  18. That HPI I was talking about (#90) has a few pages on what to look for when buying a new Skyline, it covers ignoring the kays (because its a fact of life that the Japanese love to "knock the clock", how to tell for telltale marks of coming from a Japanese junkyard (where the slingmarks are), where to look for the oil leaks, where to look for rust or rust repairs, getting the feel for the mechanical condition by driving it (what to look/listen for) etc. and is well worth the read if you're interested.
  19. Ask for a bbq, I'll organise the food. It will be more social that way. BUT I WANT HELP COOKING!!! LOL
  20. Nah, its not a REAL 34, its not a GTR R34 and its auto, save it for ya grandmother.

  24. Well my second drive will be today at the hillclimb... fingers crossed she isn't too low and her turning radius will get me around some of those corners. If anyone wants to come out and spectate, its free entry. If you do, come say hi. Its on the left on Sutton Road, just before the Skidpan, you'll see the signs.
