  1. What are you saying here? That all that HP is only holding together by velcro, zip ties and 100mph tape? You won't break it cos you drive like a nancy boy anyway Let me know when its safe to come back to the forums guys
  2. I was soooo sure you'd be in big trouble when she got hold of you... I want a sis like yours
  3. Lonely Planets "Thorn Tree Forum" is a travellers bible. There are hundreds of threads giving peoples experience of different hotels etc and this link is one of the more recent hotel questions asked. http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/thre...0&tstart=15 I think they are right in saying you will get better priced hotels around Chinatown/Haymarket/Central (train) Station and more restaurants/markets etc. There used to be a yuppie backpackers around Central Station if I remember correctly (I don't live there). But, there are reasonable self contained apartments that weren't too bad value (although none come to mind). How long are you in oz? Are you planning on getting out of Sydney? Barrier Reef? Other? I found this link to hotels on Thorn Tree too http://hotels.lonelyplanet.com/hotel/New-S...dney-R2108.html
  4. hmmm I wonder if thats what happened with my first GTR dyno run? It said something silly like 116rwkw which seems absurd when its pulling better times than a dedicated "race only" GTR getting around (with an excellent driver too) with trim/seats etc pulled out and running same tyres (now).
  5. You must have been a right pain in the @rse for your parents!! Let me put the record straight What is "incorrect" is your interpretation of my statement... "The more wax you have on your car the easier it will be to clean" was intended to mean if you have recently waxed in the last few months it should be dandy, however as you get to the end of the wax life cycle i.e. as it wears off/stops being effective, you can see the water isn't beading the same and it becomes harder to wash. I wasn't inplying that you keep loading extra layers of wax. What do we have to do around here to make you start looking at the glass as being half full?
  6. Its okay Cejay, I think you should go first for organising. I guess it should be the order we committed to the final/confirmed date, unless someone advises they want to go later (sleep in). I imagine there is a technical reason why we need to group car models? i.e. 4wd/2wd set-ups? oh and Max and Nick pushed in line I'm hurt LOL j/k
  7. I'm with Steve-o, I'd stay in the city and for two weeks, you will appreciate self contained apartments for space and being able to make your own breakfast etc. They usually have washing machines and clothes dryers etc as well as everything you need in the way of utensils to cook with.
  8. Whats your old lap time Jayce?
  9. The reason I put music was because there was a horrible clunking noise all through the clip, it was the first time I used the helmet cam - I later identified it was the battery moving, once I gaffed that up the noise stopped. Trust me, the music was the better choice this time.
  10. Weevils right... we have to screen for immigration *nod nod* Pssst Chris... you can pay me for this later

  12. I don't know the times... it wasn't a timed event but it was a terrific day though Yeah, but I still love driving my li'l 4 door, she's fun. I'm only selling because I have too many cars and not enough spaces, unless someone has a garage they're not using?
  13. hmmphhh I'm a soccer mum and I drive an RB20 4 door in the hillclimb go see www.sdmahillclimb.com and see the results where this soccer mum wins with the 4dr Then watch the soccer mum round up the boys at Wakie with her fairly stock little 4dr... where she had to keep stopping for him while he regains control of his vehicle (rules = only allowed to overtake on straights). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7inn0WBvI1s Dont tell this soccer mum that she couldn't handle the powah cos this soccer mum is thinking about selling the rb20 4dr cos it doesn't have as much powah as this soccer mums other cars LOL Now get ur @ss back up here and get to the Dyno Day!

  22. They appear to have done little to settle the rumours... and I'm not referring to this forum. I'm just reading things on other sites that could be squashed. Got everyone involved and didn't provide closure.
