  1. I've started it a few times and cringed at what the neighbours might have been thinking. I haven't driven it anywhere yet gotta get to Wakie sooooooooooooon, its killing me.
  2. Agreed... and Bullet32 and I are doing all we can to contribute psst is it safe to come back in yet?
  3. I haven't driven it yet the Avons were on it. First I'm hoping to learn how to drive it and do some small events and if all goes well (and a long way down the track) I would like to have a crack at OzBOSS, but I don't want to get ahead myself as I know I have a steep learning curve to go through. So in the meantime, Wakefield and the local hillclimb. What are you runnning in?
  4. Yes, supposedly... its not going to be easy cos I will miss her on the track. Maybe now and then wont hurt
  5. More photos added to page 1
  6. The more wax you have on your car the easier it will be to clean... says me who won't put my GTR on the pan
  7. Yes, it is good value for a timed event... timing is pretty expensive and a lot more fun trying to PB each time.
  8. Well you won't have to worry about being the only open wheeler, there is a few that get around out there. They do pretty well too, have a look at the SDMA website for results to get an idea of their times.
  9. Have you run it at the Hillclimb before? I don't remember seeing you out there, if you have, apologies if I didn't recognise you... when did you run out there last?
  10. I hope to run it at the hillclimb if its high enough and not too noisy. Its only 40mm from the ground. I also have some fittings/modifications to pedals/seating so I can reach the pedals and support/lift my feet (block maybe?) and I need a new harness because the one thats in it has expired. But if its ready in time, then I would like to take it. What open wheeler are you running?
  11. :laughing-smiley-014: agreed! I'll work on that.
  12. I've been advised to start working on strengthening my neck muscles to deal with the G forces. I'm also told to expect quite a bit of bruising as I am thrown around the cockpit (is it still a cockpit with a lady driver or is it the box office?)
  13. Yes, it transforms me into a lunatic
  14. Hocking as in Chris Hocking
  15. Thanks Liz... you were making me nervous, so I thought I had better start getting serious
  16. hmmm I just realised... then when you can't come to our track days (cos you're always working!!!!) Georgie can come instead and go back telling you what an awesome time you missed out on BTW, the next hillclimb is on 2nd March, are you working? Are you coming down to Wheels Expo 16th March?
  17. Well she is little, but I don't know what the economy is like yet
  18. I had it out last night on the back of the truck... wouldn't it be awesome if i could drive it there
  19. You were at Wakie today? and didn't come say hi? Hmmmphhh j/k did you like the new surface?
  20. I found it on my105.com, he originally had it up for 44k but you will see in the ad that he dropped the price.
  21. Sorry its not a Skyline... but it is faster. I did listen when you guys told me my GTR was too clean to track, so I had to buy another track car. Its okay, I still have the GTR and although she's a little jealous at the moment, I'm sure she knows how special she is. Click for more photos new photos
  22. I haven't taken my own photos yet so will try to get some better pics up soon, meanwhile I have posted some pics from the ad where I bought it. Circuit Open Wheeler Division: FH Formula Holden Make: Hocking Year: 1992 Engine: Holden V6 Transmission: 5speed Weight: 600 External Colour: black chrome illusion Although they say the chassis is a Hocking, I've been informed by some knowledgable locals that its a March 87B which was modified by Hocking in 1992. I've only got slicks for it atm and its raining I wanna get it to Wakefield... SOON!! More photos
