  1. aww I wanted to go but Mark was exhausted from replacing the gearbox in the truck and I felt guilty dragging him out.
  2. Anyone planning on going out tonight?
  3. Is this anyone from here? http://www.gtr.net.au/index.html
  4. moi? How about this baby, you can import it now, but who in their right mind would spend that much ($147,800) for 'race only' import? I would want it on the street toooooooo Do you suppose it was one of their test/demo cars or been in an accident i.e during testing? 2007 GTR
  5. you'll see, I know I sound like a w@nker at times, but I get to experience it first hand cos I'm frequently swapping between the RS's and the so called 'good quality' Falkens (track to street) between races - I always stall longer than I should to switch back to the falkens because my RS's feel better, even in the wet. I'm only swapping back to wear out the new falkens that came with the car, not because I think they are better on the street.
  6. Why aren't you taking your car?
  7. We couldn't agree more, we have far better traction with the 595's in the wet than all other tyres we have here put together.
  8. Merry Christmas Don't drink Drive... its a laundry detergent!
  9. It dates back to "10-4 big buddy" cb/uhf days too... but he's only a puppy, he's only just found out about flower power and thinks its new.
  10. Okay put Steadys car down too if he hasn't already, I'm pretty sure I'll have a friend coming from Narrabri who I didn't want to abandon on the day, happy to pay for for them instead or they can travel with Steady. The dummy thing just might work except the last time I saw Steady in baby clothes and a dummy he was spanking the monkey... it might give him away. (sorry Steady, didn't mean to walk in on ya)
  11. I get the feeling we are going to see a lot of these different cars over the next two weeks with summernats on.
  12. Sounds like fun, especially if there is enough of us.
  13. Welcome home I hope you can get a chance to catch up with us while you're here. Hopefully we will have a dry Friday night soon (not that I'm complaining about the much needed rain).
  14. What's your girlfriends email address? I need to send her a link to get your xmas present @ Testicletorture.com
  15. oohh I know how that feels... I failed with the Harley, went down to the hardware store and bought some industrial steel wool (no different to normal steel wool only you can buy it in bigger batches), fluffed it out and pushed it into the exhaust... putted very gently back down to inspection station. He said "what did you do to it" to which I replied "I dunno, I took it to the exhaust place and told them to quieten it down and they did" - it passed The funniest part is both of us on our knees with a hook getting all the steel wool back out, cars driving past must have thought we were being extremely fanatical cleaning our pipes with steel wool
  16. Wait until after Christmas and ask Tuk Tuk what he got for Christmas $10 says he will say as he does each year "a pair of shoes and a root... and they were both too f#cking big"
  17. When a certain Tyre Service in Fyshwick tells you they "live down your way and can drop off your Falken RX-04V II's in 245/45/ZR17 tyres" after work one day then decides to sell them/use them on you instead under the pretence of being accidentally thrown out. Who in their right mind would throw out perfectly good Falken RX-04V II's? I only had them changed to put the Federals on for the track and it seems it cost me a whole lot more than anticipated. When I called them a few days later, they said they couldnt drop them off just now they were too busy... so I gave them a few weeks and called back, then she told me they couldn't drop them off at all now, I advised it would be a few weeks before I could get there. They told this WAS NOT a problem at all, I called again a couple of weeks later and was told they were still okay and I asked them to make sure they had my name and number on them. I was assured it was and all was okay, only to find they don't have them anymore. I wasn't rude on the phone, disappointed naturally, after all its a hit to the pocket, but I was at all times polite... her response? SHE HUNG UP ON ME, she didn't know how to deal with it, so dealt with it the only way she knew how. I will never go there again as they lied to me more than once and then didn't want to know me. Not even a sorry. I'm very disappointed because I was communicating with them the whole time and they had my contact details, if there was a problem, they could have called me.
