I've only had the GTR out there once (so far ) - stock using standard tyres I managed a 1:15, would love to have another crack with my Federals on. You will have a great day with Dereck (Fifth Gear) he has a great way of explaining things and getting you to really listen to the feedback from your car

She really is bewdiful (I saw her for real on Sunday). Can't get RS's for your rims??? ouch!!! my 595RS's on my GTR, she looks even sexier now and doesn't squeal like a biatch around the track anymore

LOL I'm trying... problem is that Mark gets the same advantage as I have when I upgraded to the good tyres. I think he should put the other tyres back on for his runs I'm happy with my results though, PB'd with both cars.

New Federal 595RS's on the GTR... and well... the results speak for themselves. I broke the ladies track record three times yesterday in the GTR and won the category with the GTS-T, I'm pretty sure I had the fastest split in my category with the GTS-T as well. SDMA President Robert Wall put out a special thank you at presentation time for the SAU people who volunteered. I would like to add to that and say a huge thanks to those who helped out. I'll put a video up as soon as I get a chance. Results (all cars)

I think i remember some saying there was a field that had night lights out at Brindy Park... its early in this thread somewhere I believe and it was suggested that we have a game sometime. I'm assuming they wanted the weather to warm up a little first.

Red line shows where the hillclimb would normally run... its not a very steep hill, but tight as hell Where I understand the 2nd December sprint event will be running... give or take a few metres and will finish in time to pull off into pit lane and miss the straight.

Yes, I was told yesterday that your Wakefield licence is enough for this event if you have one already, but you still need to enter. I'll try to get an electronic version of the entry forms/supp regs and I'll pop them up here. I can't stress enough how important it is to get in early though, Timespan events at Wakefield are popular.

Oh bugger! I've just found out this is the same Sunday as Timespan at Wakefield. Its normally only the hillclimb at the back, but this one is going to almost be a full circuit (finish line just before pit entry). If anyone is interested in Wakefield, you will need to get in early because its in demand. Its $80 and you will need either a Wakefield licence or L2S from memory (not compulsory to be a club member for this one). Pretty cheap day, all timed by Timespan, winners receive certficates. Once again, if you need help with what you need to get your car ready, we're happy to help where we can, its pretty easy, don't even need to be road registered, but do need to pass scrutineering i.e. tyres, seat belts (standard or racing), fire extinguisher, steering (play), wheel bearings (play), blue triange (battery location... we use blue masking tape from bunnings) all simple stuff, sounds more effort than it really is. GET IN EARLY FOR THIS ONE. We can cruise to Goulburn and put on a Skyline turnout LOL

Mines stock, so can someone tell me how long I should have my timer set for after a normal street drive (nice'n'easy one that is)? If I'm only putting around, I have only been giving it about a minute or two.

Ive got wheels (GTST) that will get you passed, but not sure of how the rubber fared on the skid pan as to whether they will pass. You're welcome to come and see.

Ive never been to one, what happens, what does it cost, etc etc Didn't I read somewhere that its on the same time as Bathurst track day? Dates don't seem to match up with it though.
