Help Wanted Finding Suitable Skyline For Steadyeddie
Michele replied to Michele's topic in Australian Capital Territory
Ummm did you go down to the flat at all? Some stuck their heads in and said hi on their way to see the Harley... well they were one eyed actually, they didn't look at the Harley, they all started playing with the Skylines instead LOL and then others (who shall remain nameless) were talking to him through the intercom without knowing where it was going hehe -
*cough cough* is anyone feeling unwell and want to give up their place on Saturday? LOL I dunno how I missed this! Sounds good.

What are they like to drive/handle? Much different? They look good, even the yellow ones are nice (hey Shell LOL) Yellow (I'm pretty sure Ive seen these pics in the FS section in SAU http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls/carsa...&trans_id=1 More yellow http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls/carsa...&trans_id=1 Low price ? http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls/carsa...&trans_id=1 It has to be an easy colour to keep clean, cos Steady doesn't like washing cars. -

Help Wanted Finding Suitable Skyline For Steadyeddie

What are the R34 GT-T's like? How's this price? http://www.uniquecarsales.com.au/pls/carsa...mp;photo_flag=1 -
Since majority of this household has some type of "Skyline addiction" it appears now that this addiction is also infectious. Many of you who came to the BBQ at my place recently had a chance to meet Chris (SteadyEddie)... the only member of our household who doesn't own a Skyline. I ask my trusty SAU friends to help find a great Skyline for him... the only thing is that due to a stroke when he was 15yo (different type of stroke to what most lads have at that age ) he can now only drive an automatic. He really likes the R32 and R34 look and some 33's, his preferred colours are silver, gunmetal or white. He wants a good deal... good value for money. He can't physically do a lot to the car, so it would need to be mechanically sound. What's hot with the autos? Help find us a deal.

Cristian is usually pretty good with that, I think they would be pleased to have the extra numbers. -
Okay, I'm a sucker for timed speed events LOL Peeps if you're not likely to get involved in other types of events then the L2NS is enough. If you are considering some "other club" activities down the track with the likes of supersprints at Wakefield, a Wakie licence alone isn't enough to participate in these events because they are timed. There are a few different clubs who hold these timed speed events at Wakefield... and because you are already a member of a CAMS affiliated club (SAU) you can participate at most of these with the L2S licence. If you get a L2S you can also participate with Nissan Sports Car Club at Wakie, Eastern Creek, Oran Park etc and Thornleigh Car Club also have some interesting events (some at Wakie). If you are thinking about joining me at the SDMA Hillclimb in the near future, then you will need L2S You make your own mind up, heres the differences Level 2 Non Speed (2NS) licence + motorkhana and khanacross events up to International level + observed section trials + touring road events which contain no closed road sections and no non-race speed sub-events + touring assemblies and non-timed road events + drifting events Level 2 Speed (2S) licence includes 2NS plus + single and multi-car non-race speed events up to International level 'Non-race speed events' include hillclimbs, autocross, single car and multi-car sprints and regularity trials + regularity trials up to National Championship + touring road events, including non-race speed sub-events, but not including closed road sections, up to International level CAMS have improved their turnaround times for licences, however they do say the following NOTES + First time applicants are encouraged to apply for their Level 2 licence directly with their car club in order to gain the instant benefit of a temporary 30-day licence endorsed by the club. This allows the licence holder to compete immediately whilst CAMS processes their licence application.

Welcome, welcome, welcome Photos of your car coming soon I hope ???

I highly recommend paying the extra for a L2S so you can participate at other events such as SDMA Hillclimb and other supersprints etc being held by Nissan Sports Car Club etc It's around $88 for a L2S (Speed) and well worth it - its even enough to do State Round Hill Climbs. No medicals, no minimum races required, no tests and uses same application form as L2NS (Level 2 Non Speed) see form http://www.cams.com.au/downloads/paperform...Application.pdf Why limit yourself to a non-speed licence if you're going to the trouble?
-
CAMS will usually fax you a temp licence while your real one is being processed, but they have to receive your application first LOL Most clubs (i.e. SAU) can take CAMS payment and completed CAMS form on the day, but it helps the club a lot of you download and fill out the form before you get there.
