  1. We could group same model cars and do a few runs, in groups at each end to save time for you if it helps, like a relay, you could shoot both directions if the background is same both directions. Is there anything we can do to help? Anything we can bring?

  3. Agreed. The purpose of this gathering is for AWESOME photos and we want to be able to do it again. Lets not attract attention of the negative type.
  4. Are you joining us Shell?
  5. I think you should run the pool comp on the night too. I don't know how they do the draws.
  6. The bestest side... Southside *duck* Hmm you should know this... have you received my SAU membership papers yet?
  7. Aww Happy Birthday - mine is on Sunday.
  8. Cheap ones are at Dick Smith for around $45 I think but they're only like .7w or 1watt, probably good enough for our distance to save yelling, but not much else - the 5 watt ones are best, but aren't cheap.
  9. Smack in the middle of the city of Munich is a permanent wave that people surf on all year round Once you are there you will see better surfing ones for the same place, but this vid gives you an idea of what we mean by "smack in the middle of Munich"
  10. Okay museum it is, at 8pm.
  11. Are we meeting at the museum or the lookout? I don't mind where its at, so long as it happens!
  12. Sounds like we will need to split down the middle and aim for around 8pm
  13. Saturday 01 September http://www.sdmahillclimb.com/ ENTRY FEE will be: $ 70.00 (GST incl) Late entry fee $ 20.00 Membership, entry forms and Supp Regs are on website and need to be emailed in to them by 8 p.m. 30/8/07 - I suggest you do it a day or two before this to ensure you get a spot because they do fill up. You will get 4-5 runs and a slow run before the event starts if you have never been on the track before. MINIMUM LICENCES: Current CAMS Level 2S Licence and club membership card are compulsory and must be produced at the Event. Membership/CAMS Forms can be downloaded, filled out and paid to SDMA on day (verify with secretary that this is still okay), but you will need to enter before then to avoid the late fee. SCRUTINEERING will be held at: Scrutineering Bay from 7.30 a.m. a) All vehicles must comply with Schedules A & B of the CAMS General Requirements for Automobiles (as specified in the CAMS Manual), including a fire extinguisher; blue triangle (for battery) and a secondary method for fastening the bonnet (for registered vehicles this is the secondary catch that we already have on most vehicles) b) Maximum noise limit: 87 dba at: 30 metres. Any car found to exceed the maximum noise emission limit will be suspended from the Event until the Chief Scrutineer / Clerk of the Course is satisfied that action has been taken to bring it within the limit. c) Competition numbers are to be positioned on both sides of the vehicle, OR at a minimum for ‘SDMA Club events’ are to be positioned on the right hand side of vehicle. SDMA may issue you with a competition numbered Card – this also indicates the running order. d) Drivers and vehicles must be presented in a clean and tidy manner. Note: The Event will not be delayed due to late arrivals. It is the drivers’ responsibility to ensure their vehicles are scrutineered before the scheduled starting time of the Event. Drivers must attend scrutineering personally so that their driving apparel can be checked. DRIVERS’ BRIEFING will be held: at: The Start Line at 9.00 a.m. It is compulsory for ALL drivers to attend. Scrutineering will cease whilst the drivers’ briefing is in progress. Note: A driver “sign-on” sheet must be signed by all drivers to prove briefing attendance. Failure to sign on may result in penalties being applied by the stewards of the meeting. The EVENT commences at: 9.30 a.m. and finishes at: 5.00 p.m. I am here to help if you have any questions or need help with your setup. Michele
  14. As mentioned on the Museum night and Sundays cruise... I'm having a casual get together at my place this Saturday night for a BBQ, chat, few games of pool and watch some GTR vids on the big screen (who was bringing them again? Anthony I think). Let me know if you want to come and I will PM my address. Probably around 7ish but turn up any time after that if its too early. I will supply food and softdrinks.
  15. Sure do please pass on our thanks and appreciation to Justin for putting his hand up for this. As far as I know this Friday is good, early works for me. I'm pretty sure we had quite a few takers if we held off to this Friday. If we do the lookout, are we going to look at another site as well or stick to one site each time? A group photo in the middle of Anzac Pde would look good at night as well. HEAD COUNT... Who is coming?
  16. They do look great! - What a shine!! Was it hard to get to?
  17. Aww I'm out on that date. Have a sausage sizzle there to raise even more for the banner/tent
  18. Thank you Anthony for organising the cruise, cd's and decals - its always good to catch up with you all.
  19. Canon 300D, no flash, tripod, very slow shutter speed. I still have the originals in the camera if you want a peek. With the exception of resizing to 25% and going greyscale on the B&W they're pretty standard.
  20. The fog started coming in around 1am and as you can see added to the effect... it looks like clouds.
  21. Yeah well I thought they were pretty hot too, but also am aware that I'm totally smitten - which could cloud my judgement LOL
