We may choose two sites, one which involves other people such as Museum etc and one we can do without needing to involve others too deeply... such as a carpark or lake edge that we can do at leisure if we feel we need more when the first shoot is over.

Hey thanks... this sounds great! Find out what you can and let us know if its okay to go ahead - the museum shots looked fantastic. We need to start thinking about when, if we need extra lighting etc then a weekend may be better to give us time, but this may not suit the Museum, War Memorial, cameraman etc so lets start with them and try to work around that.

You missed my point... the incident that you are referring to as the "first incident" was actually the second incident, there was an incident prior to this which damaged the rear quarter of Ambrose's car (our drivers side, US pax side). Although the first incident isn't seen in the film clip, the damage is visible and has been discussed on the news etc. Also, with the second incident where Ambrose hit Gordon... Gordon had passed Ambrose on a yellow flag. It must be noted, that the NASCAR officials did not dispute Ambrose's actions, yet fined Gordon $35,000 and placed him on probation through the end of the year for his misconduct. I guess they saw more than we did. If Gordon was an innocent victim... why is he so damn sorry?

Ambrose wasn't black flagged, Gordon was - I'll confidently say that the NASCAR judges are better informed than I/we are and called it for what it was... that would equate to Ambrose still being in the race and Gordon being disqualified. I saw my car parked under a light in the fog last week and it looked fantastic (I'm the first to admit I've got it bad) and I didn't have a camera with me But it did get me thinking... lets find some great spots, backgrounds, etc for some night time photos. It will fun and we should get some awesome pics. I've still got fog machine, bubble machine (if it still works), par 64's, gels... does someone have a small generator? I also have projectors we could use to throw a logo, picture, film clip on to a background wall. A fair bit of setting up, but with enough of us to kick in, it shouldn't be too bad. Any suggestions?

Ive never tried it before, but would love to give it a try. I've nowhere to practice so will have to learn on the fly, until now I've only used my handbrake for hill starts and parking, so its going to feel strange. Someone will have to show me how its done. Oh and how do you remember that course pattern and concentrate on driving as well?
